formerly Triple G Adoptions

Welcome to camp G!

Welcome to Camp G, the camp for lost Gelerts and Grundos! Camp G is a place for foster pets to relax, make some pals, play in the sun, and just generally loosen up while they wait for a future family to find them and fall in love with them. The Camp G network boasts--uh... *counts on fingers*...a bunch of lab maps, and fosters are zapped daily. If you're interested in a foster who's listed under the lab heading, make sure to neomail Quizzer so she can put a halt to labbing. If you would like to join the Camp G network, see Affiliating and Associating below.

About

Formerly "Triple G Adoptions," my adoption agency was re-launched on Gelert Day, 2013, as Camp G. Run by the Quizzer family, all adopted pets themselves, the camp seeks to find pets loving new owners. It specializes in Gelerts and Grundos (because I mean really, how can anyone resist adorable long ears like that), and all of our fosters are found through the Lost and Pound.

Camp G is strictly an UFA organization. I have not, do not, and will not ever engage in pet trading in any form, either within the context of Camp G, or privately. Please do not ask to trade for my fosters, and please do not apply for a foster if you intend to trade them.

Affiliating and associating

Affiliating
If you are a foster parent too and want to affiliate with Camp G, or if you have a listing site and want to put my page on it, you're welcome to! Just send me a neomail. I do not affiliate with UFT-only pages, but I will consider affiliation with dual UFA/UFT ones.

Associates
I am also looking for more associates. These are the people who lab pets, or hold the pets in line for the lab or for new homes. I myself have 21 pets already (yay premium!) so I don't have my own fosters anymore—I rely on my lovely associates to do the Camp G zapping for me.

If you want to be a foster parent but aren't quite sure where to start, or if you don't want to deal with applications, I can make it easy for you. As a Camp G associate, you would just have to:

  • Zap fosters daily, or save up to paint/morph them if you'd rather (if you don't have
the lab map and can't do foster projects, you can just hold pets on your account(s)
while they wait for lab slots to open up with other associates)
  • Transfer the pets to their new owners once I send word that I've found someone!
  • You will use the pet lookup coding below on your fosters' lookups—just click your cursor in the box, press control-A, control-C, and paste into the pet's Edit Description box.

As the head of Camp G, all applications, questions, and spam are sent to me; you never have to deal with them. See, what I tell ya? Awesomely simple. Come on, you know you want to become a Camp G associate~

    Rules for Adopting

So you might have noticed that foster parents are big on rules, but you won't have to jump through ridiculous hoops in order to adopt one of my fosters. I like to keep things simple.

    To apply:

Only send Neomails to newenglandquizzer, and put the name of the pet you're interested in in the subject. Do not neomail any of her other accounts, or the accounts the foster pets are on.

Basically? Just send me (newenglandquizzer) a Neomail saying you're interested in adopting the pet. List all your active accounts, and I'll peruse all of them and decide if I think you're a good owner. If I think you are, you'll probably get a Neomail right back saying the foster pet is yours.

    All I'm looking for:

  • Put the name of the pet you want to adopt as the topic of your Neomail.
  • List all your active accounts--main and all sides. Specify which account the foster pet will live on. The account you plan to adopt the pet on must be old enough to adopt them, or your application will immediately be rejected. You are, however, free to send me another Neomail once your account ages, if the pet is still up for adoption with me.
  • Use the pet's proper name and gender in your Neomail. "Its" are bad. Nicknames are great!
  • Proper English. And never chatspeak. If English is not your first language, just tell us. I just need to be able to read it. :)
  • Happy pets. If you can't keep your current pets happy and fed, are you really up to the task of taking on another?
  • You can paint, morph, zap, or change the gender of any Triple G you adopt, unless otherwise specified. If you plan on changing the pet in any way, please mention that in your Neomail.
  • It's not required, but once you have adopted a foster from Camp G, if you could put one of our buttons on your pet's lookup, you can help even more campers find homes.
