Ever carried the weight of another?
For how long...?

*Intro*

Why did I have to get stuck with this interview thing... you ask yourself as you walking around the snowy area of Terror Mountain. Well, maybe I can find someone INTERESTING to interview. Either you weren't much of a people person...or you just didn't like school asignments.

After walking around A LOT, you sigh at not find anyone that looks like they'd be an interesting interviewy. That is, until a strange looking bori sitting up against a nearby building. She seems to have a blank look as she stares at the ground in front of her. You tilt your head, wondering if she's be worth it.

After noticing some frightfull stares given to her from by passers, you slowly make your way over. You stop in front of her but she doesn't seem to notice. Ummm...Hello... The bori slowly, but surly, looked up at you with a surprisingly...surpised -disallowed_word- One around the neck, one spiralling around the body, one around each wrist, with chains dangling from the bands, and one attatched to last shell plate and spirals around tail and is imbedded into the bit of skin where the tail tuff starts.)

*Friends*

Kirkan: -Coughs-. Ummm...I have to say this much, he's really a nice guy. He doesn't know it, but I know what he is, but I probably won't mention that for a while. He may look like one of those people who prefer to be alone A LOT and be left alone, but he's not like that at all. He's a lot more caring then A LOT people know, and I've even seen some people who believe him to be a bit mean. Never listen to them! They're wrong! I don't care what they say, he's not like that! He's...-Stops herself before she says too much-. Well, ummm...yeah...moving on...

Airayen: Well, I never really knew much ab...I mean ummm...Well, she's a very nice and generous person. She seems to stick to Kirkan like glue, as people say. -Mumbles under breath-. And that'll lead to something...-Coughs and looks around-. Nobody heard that right? Anyways, she seemed to be the first to get past the fact that I've got chains attatched to me and excepted me. I really do thank her for that...

Colin: -Smiles-. I'd heard a lot about this guy from my own father. -Coughs-. Ummm...anyways. He's real shy and sort of likes to keep to himself a lot like me. We do get along pretty well to. He's sweet and all, I can always say that about him, but his amnesia is a bit of a downer. It's not horrid or anything, it's just a bit sad is all. -Sighs-.

Arkyn: The poor guy. He seems to think that everyone new he meets hates him for some reason. I can't seem to understand why either. I mean he's not mean, or evil, or someone who just hurts others for fun. He's nice and kind and can act sweet at times. Even though he has a somewhat bad temper at times. The stranger thing is that I think he tries to avoid me and I can't figure out why. I certainly don't hate him, and I'm sure nobody else who knows me does. So, really, he's a very complicated guy. I just hope he opens up more soon...

Slechard: -Sighs-. Well, I don't really have much to say about him. He didn't tell much to me directly, but T.C. seemed to act as if he knew a bit more. Anyways, he seemed quite nice when I first met him. But...he was also a little...odd acting. Basically, he was only there for a while, that was until T.C. decided to appear. He's what basically caused the gelerts strange behavior I'm guesssing. He seemed a bit nervous...well...more like suspicous you could say but not really, when T.C. came along and left soon after. At the moment, I can only imagine why this happened.

Shadoe: This one...He's just...Different. Not in a bad way, but he's just someone that I don't think anyone could get use to quickly. He's real sensitive about some things, especially when someone asks him about his family, or past. I've even seen him snap at Airayen for asking if she could check the wound under the bandaging on his arm. Even though I agree with her on that, I wouldn't take the chance of getting yelled at by him. And who knows, maybe there isn't a scar under the bandaging. Maybe there's more to what he says then what he seems to speak of. He tells us he just had a bad run in with some guys...I believe there's more to it then that.

Ophidia: I don't know why people thing wrongly of her. Ophidia's actually quite nice once you get to know her. She does have a bad temper most of the time however. I also wish she wouldn't wear that skull all the time. It can be frightening. She refuses to take it off though. Something to do with a mark on her face. Also, I think it's odd how some people act around her, especially Arkyn. He gets...All protective for some reason when I'm around her. Maybe he just doesn't trust her. It seems to be that way without a lot of people though. Ophidia says she understands their hospitility however, and it doesn't seem to really bother her.

*Family*

I'd include my parents in here, but...ummm...nevermind...

Fuzzle: Fuzzle has to be one of the strangest creatures I've ever met. She's spazzy, hyperactive, has a bit of a short-term memory loss, and is obssessed with those Juicy Drop Pops. Well, she can be nice at times, but...that'll turn into something completly randome in no time with it being her. -_-;

*Enemies*

Calix: -Whines-. I don't like him one bit. I could do without Calix in my life, but he's not all that easy to get rid of. How do I know that? Don't ask...Not only is he rude and mean, he can get annoying a times, and is actually consantly threatening my life. My father would definentally get him back for it if he did something like that. I just can't understand how a creature could be THAT evil, seriously. Anyways, moving on...

*Little Companion*

Those most call them a petpet, I think thats a bit degrading. So, anyways, this little I call Chance. Why? Bascically because I was able to give him another change at having a good life, to not be alone all the time...which is something that I seem to have yet to earn...mostly. He was abondoned only a few years ago and is actually only about four years old. I remeber finding the little guy durring winter. He'd been lying under a tree, shaking badly and looked about starved to death. I just couldn't leave the little guy there to die could I? I'd walked over, scooping the little creature up, and continued on to wherever I'd been going at the time. He's been forever grateful and sometimes refuses to leave my side. I love the little guy all the same though.

It's the guilt of what reality has given me,
Making sense of all the terror and it's chaos
And when you've caused it all you seem to think you've failed you own meaning...

*The Curse*

Many actually do wonder about that even if they don't show it. I really don't want to talk about it but Fuzzle's pretty much forcing me too. -Mumbles-. More like threatening...-Coughs-. Erm...anyways. I suppose I have to agree with her that it would be better if you knew about it before I really started my story. It'll make it less confusing I guess.

Well, this "curse", as most people call it, has been with me for my whole life pretty much. At least, as long as I can remember, sometimes haunting my very dreams and actually talking to me, in my mind. It was frightening at first but I'm getting use to it now. Even though I do wish daily that it would leave me alone, leave me forever and never come back, I do at the same time I wish that it would never leave. It's an odd feeling and very hard for me to explain so I wont get onto that.

Anyways, for starters, this "curse" can't be considered a possesing thing, or something that just lives inside you, slowly taking control. Oh no, I've seen the thing that lives in my and most call "The curse". Honestly, it's not much of a deadly, evil beyond all, kind of thing...or should I say.../he's/ not. True, the thing is actually a guy. -Twitches-. Scary thought right there. Anyways...He's really not evil, as people say, and he knows he needs to respect what I say. I pretty much ALLOW him to live in peace ande he sort of owes me for that. The only thing is...he gets ticked off pretty easily. That's why a lot of people stay away from me...if they happen to somehow know...which is highly doubtfull...at least here it is. -Coughs-. So, yeah, moving along.

That's really all I want to share. But, by now, you're probably wondering what T.C, that's what I call him because I don't like calling him "The Curse" and he's never actually told me his name. As I was saying, if you want to know what he looks like, just go down to the adoptable section. But I'm warning you, you might not like what you see.

*Story*

Chapter One: A Begining

The shuffling of snow, the heavy breathing, and the soft howl of the night breeze...

These were the only sounds that seemed to enter the younge mother's ears as she ran. She refused to look back as she huggled the little bundle in her arms closer to her. Although she didn't want to stop, not until she got somewhere safe, she knew she had to rest soon. She didn't have the energy to make it at the moment.
Finally... she thought as she came across as cave in the mountain side and hurriedly ran inside. As her heart continued racing and her head pounded, she sighed in relief as she looked out to see nobody at the moment. Taking a deep breath, the female bori, in about her mid twenties, sat down against the cave wall and closed her eyes, taking the peacefull sounds of the night in. Then, upon opening her eyes, she gazed down at the tiny creature she held in her arms.
The little bori girl could only be no more then a few months old. The tiny creatures soft breathing seemed to relax her mother as she smiled and hugged her daughter closer, her large white ears twitching with a bit of irritation from something rubbing against the light green fur on the inside.
The little one had real light grey, soft, fur that was almost a silvery color but not quite dark enough though the tuff at the end of her tail was a dark silver along with the shell upon her back. Her small claws on the other hand were of the normal silver color. Spreading up her arms though were flame patterns. The left was red while the right was green.
The mother ran a hand threw the tiny one's silvery fur a top her head. This seemed to awaken the sleeping child and she looked up at her mother, her icy blue eyes shining against the moonlight that had found a way into the cave.
As if sensing her mother's troubles, the little bori's eyes grew sad as she tilted her head slightly.
Don't worry Crystal, her mother said, I'm not going to let anything happen to you.
The little girl let out a soft sound as she smiled before closing her eyes and nuzzling up close to her mother once more.
The mother sighed and looked outside again. The night seemed calmer then it actually was. The soft breeze caused the snow a top the snow drifts to flutter from their perch a top the mounds. As peaceful as it seemed, the bori could sense an on comming evil and she knew she had to leave now.
Standing up, she walked over to the mouth of the cave and looked out causiously. Seeing no one on the immidate area, she took off running in the direction she had been earlier, the tiny bori girl still sleeping in her arms. She had two things on her mind at the moment: getting to safty, and wondering if he was alright.

Chapter Two: It Awakens

((Fuzzle: Sorreh to interupt, but now we'll be moving a few years into the futuer. That's right, there's a chance, unless I become unlazy, that you'll never know what was happening. ^^ I'm ebil like that...))

As a dark force recedes, a darker one can rise above...

Such a beautiful day. A bright sun was shining down upon the land, making the snow glisten. A gently breeze seemed to play with the snow a top drifts.
A small silver creature sat on top of a boulder in the middle of a snow covered field. She seemed to be looking up at the sky, her eyes closed.
Her silvery fur seemed to blend quite well with the surrounding snow although her darker underbelly stuck out somewhat along with her red and green arms, the right being the green and left the red. The breeze seemed to play with her dark sliver fur a top her head as her tail, which hung off the side of the boulder, swayed back and forth with it, her dark silver tail tuff ruffling slightly. Her silver claws seemed to glisten with the snow, the darker shell upon her back seemed to blend slightly with the boulder she sat upon.
She took in a deap breath and sighed as her eye opened, revealing the icy blue color of them which shined against the suns rays.
She looked down at her feet, the day was calm and peacful. It seemed like a perfect day to some people. Wait, perfect day?
The bori child narrowed her eyes. No day is perfect.
She then smelt something in the air, it was a strange one almost like...smoke.
Suddenly she began to cough as dark clouds of ash and smoke appeared from nowhere. With her eyes narrowed she looked up and noticed the trees surrounding the area had been set a blaze. The sky then darkened to a pitch black as the sun dissapeaed and she seemed to be competely surrounded by darkness.
With fear growing strong she suddenly found herself standing, the boulder had dissapeared. What was happening many would ask but she seemed to be more worried about the flames and darkness, but suddenly the flames weakened and within a minute dissapeared completely.
Silence.
The only sound the bori girl seemed to hear was her own breath as she began to shudder, her eyes darting about madly.
The area suddenly illumitated a bit but she senced the presense of another. The girl whipped around quickly and spotted another figure lying not too far away.
The figure appeared to look dead, or maybe in a deep sleep. She couldn't really tell at the moment but even though her fear was tugging at her, telling her to run, curriosity took hold and she began to approch the strange newcomer to the dark world.
As she reached the figure, she seemed to study it for a moment. It turned out to be a boy, no older then herself. He was breathing, making it clear he wasn't dead and she slowly edged closer.
When she was standing directly above him, his breathing suddenly stopped. The girls eyes widened as her hands began to shake slighlty, but the boys eyes suddenly shot open as a piercing gaze struck her. The sudden change in him made the girl let out a yelp as she stumbled backwards and fell.
The dark bori sat up slowly as if he'd just woken from a deep, deep sleep and wasn't use to such a thing. His head turned and the strange gaze stuck her once again.
She felt weak as if the gaze was draining her energy, but as the boy suddenly grinned a strangly evil grin her eyes widened more.
Well, hello... the dark figure said, suddenly speaking as he raised a hand, pointing a claw at her...

----

The same bori girl suddenly awoke with a scream as she sat up, but as she calmed down her mind instantly began to reply that dream she had just experienced. The presense she'd felt when the dark bori had first appeared seemed to stick to her, as if he was still around.
She shuddered in fear as she felt her forehead, a cold sweat had formed. Her eye darted about for any sign of the figure but she spotted no one.
With a sigh of relief, the the little three year old girl layed back down. It...it was just a dream... she mumbled, trying to convince herself that the strange feelings were only from the fear she'd experienced. As she began to drift back to sleep she could feel the violent thumping of her heart...and also that same strange presense...which would continue to stay with her.

Chapter Three: The First Attack

Every action someone, or something, makes in life has a purpose. Even if that purpose doesn't make sense...

Come on, hurry up!
I'm comming! I'm comming! You don't have to yell...
Another wonderful day so it seemed. The sky was clear of clouds and no snow seemed to be falling.
It's not far now a little green kyrii called down to her friend from a top the small slope. The kyrii was a girl and the main running down her back was black. Her underbelly was a lighter green then her main fur. She had a few black stripes on her arms and legs as well. Her big golden colored eyes were eyes seemed to dart around every time something moved just to see what it was.
You said that about five minutes ago though Jesse a voice of complaint replied as the bori girl from before reached the top and stood by her friend. It'd been about three days since that nightmare of hers and she hadn't been feeling too good. That strange feeling was still clinging to her and she couldn't seem to ignore it a lot of the time. It made her feel sick and that's probably why she wasn't feeling well. ((Who lets three year olds run around by themselves anyways? Fuzzle, that's who. XP))
I know, but it really isn't that far now I swear... Jesse, whose name was actually Jessabella but she didn't liked being called by that, said. The bori girl grined and said jokingly, You can't swear... Jesse rolled her eyes and said a bit jokingly herself, Well pick of the pace if you really don't want me to Crystal...
Before Crystal could reply her friend had began to run up the next splope. With a slight groan she followed reluctantly.
I'm going to regret this I know I am... she mumbled to herself. Suddenly, a pain shot threw her head almost like a sharp pain from getting a headach, only worse. The bori winced as she placed a hand to her forehead but not before almost stumbling to the ground.
She groaned again but said nothing about it as she continued up the slope.
When she reached the top Jesse was staring up at something with a wide grin on her face.
So, now what? Crystal asked as she stopped beside her friend. Look... Jesse replied. Crystal looked up and jokingly said, Icicles...Nice... Not the icicles! The path. I've never seen it up here before. I wonder where it leads to Jesse said.
Crystal looked up at the path that her friend had then pointed to. She was right though. The pathway looked quite new making it obvious it had not been there before.
Well, it probably goes to somewhere we shouldn't go... she said. Oh come on, it couldn't be bad. We've explored worse then this, remember? Jesse retorted. Oh, yes I remember that... Crystal said grinning. Then let's go... the kyrii said and started up the path but at a slower pace then before.
Ignoring the pain that was now pounding in the back of her head, either trying to tell her NOT to go or else she just had a normal headache, she ran to catch up with her friend after a moment.
The pathway was short but steep. Jesse had slipped a couple times leaving Crystal to laugh since she always was able to dig the claws on her feet into the ice.
Crystal ended up being the first to reach the top even with the pains running threw her head.
Stupid ice and its stupid slipperyness... Jesse complained as she reached the top. Crystal only laughed.
I swear, if there's another icy path, I'm going to...Whoa... Jesse had started to say but changed the subject when she noticed the large cave that now stood in front of them.
I hate caves... Crystal said giving a look signaling she didn't think it was safe. Well, let's go in anyway... Jesse said with a wide grin as she started to walk foreward, but Crystal continued to protest as she took hold of her friends wrist, stopping her. I really don't think we should go in there... she said. Oh come on you scardy cat... Jesse teased as she tried to pull away from Crystals grip. I'm not a scary cat, I just don't think it's safe... Crystal said getting a bit angry with her friend as she gripped tighter. Jesse, getting angry as well, glared as she was able to lift a foot, still keeping amazingly good balance, and give her friends chest a kick, not too hard but not soft either. It caused them to break apart. Crystal ended up stumbling over a small drift of snow as she fell backwards and ended up hitting her head on a hard block of ice.
Ouch! she yelped as she lifted her head back up as quickly as possibly and clutched the back of her head with both hands.
I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen! I... Jesse rambled on with an apology. Crystal, although, was only half hearing it. The fact that her head was now pounding with not only pain from hitting her head but also from the strange headache like pain, she was only half hearing anything her friend said.
It's...Alright... Crystal was finally able to reply after a moment, you didn't mean t... She paused as the pain in her head got worse and she let out a groan .
What...What's wrong... Jesse asked, her eyes wide with concern. I...Don't know... Crystal replied and was about to let out a scream as another large pain came but it quickly died away, along with all the other pain besides the back of her aching head where she'd hit the ice.
She blinked in confusion, but then almost automatically noticed that the strange presense she had once been feeling ever minute was now gone.
Crystal? her friend asked as she began to help her up. I've...Got a bad feeling... she said able to stand up then with her friends help. Why do you sa-What the heck is that!? Jesse yelled as she pointed up at something behind her. Crystal turned around to see what it was, but her eyes widened in horror as she recognized the thing. It was that same black creature from before, only out of her dreams now.
Jesse let out a slight shriek as she ran back towards the cave and Crystal almost reluctantly followed. She also hadn't seemed to regocnize who the thing looked like, and nither had her friend.
The black bori had changed a bit. He now looked somewhat like Crystal herself. The same fire patter, same colored hair, claws, and shell. The differences was his fur was almost pitch black, there were spined running down his tail, arms, and legs, and also the last tip of fur at the end of his tail tuff was curved to a sharp point. His left eye was white and the right was black. Also, the fire patterns on his arms were glowing, along with his eyes.
W-what IS that thing? Jesse stammered as she cuddled up against a wall of the cave as the dark creature started to walk towards them. You're asking ME? Crystal replied as she began to shake but suddenly, she was starting to feel weak as her eyelids began to close.
Crystal? Crystal don't you go passing out on me... Jesse said as she watched her friend slide slowly to the ground, her eyes half closed. Jesse the remember the dark creature and looked up but her eyes widened as she saw it was standing right in front of them. It's eyes narrowed as the creature grinned a toothy, evil looking smile, revealing the four large fangs in its mouth.
The last thing Crystal remembered before passing out, however, was a scream from her friend before darkness.

----

Darkness. It filled the air as night crept upon the snow-covered land. Stars began to take their form in the darkness above as the moon glowed brightly in the unclouded sky.
That such light is what brought the uncouncious child back to reality. Her drowsy eyes flickered open and gazed around, examining the surroundings. A cave? When did I get here? the child questioned. When memories finally hit hard, the childs eyes flung wide as she sat up quickly and looked about rapidly.
Where is that thing? How long have I been out? Jesse...? Jesse! the child seemed to call desprately, her voice echoing off the caves walls. To her dismay though, not a single reply came. Only her own question, returning to her ears, was heard.
It hadn't occured to her before but the feeling then struck her. That same eerie feeling from before as if something was dwealing inside her had returned and as soon as she noticed it the sickning pain returned along with it.
Alright, I get it... she mumbled to herself as if refering to the feeling as if it were a person. She got to her feet, her legs a bit shaky at first. After her eyes finally adjusted to the dim lighting, she scanned the cave more thoroughly. She was able to spy another creature laying motionlessly nearby. She guessed it was her friend considering it wasn't dark like the...thing.
Slowly she approchoed, but a smile was planted upon her face. Obviously, being only three, her naive, childish mind forbid her to comprehend, 'motionless'.
So, as she knelt down beside the creature, she placed a hand on its shoulder and shook it gently. Jesse? Are you awake? she asked, unknowing that her friend was in a much deeper sleep then she was thinking of. When her friend didn't asnwer, and also when she felt a sudden liquid like feeling on her hand, she pulled on her shoulder, causing the body, lying on its side, to turn over.
What she saw caused her eyes to widen as large as dinner plates as she let out a loud shriek of utter terror. Scrambling away from the body, the bori girl clambered to her feet before running out of the cave.
Without complete direction or thought of where she was going, her feet guided her to the path but it was no use running down with the ice. She ended up slipping even with the claws on her feet and slide down the slope.
When she reached the bottom the child didn't bother to get out. Tears steaked her down her face as she wailed, a pain deep inside her overwhelming the sickness she'd felt before.
She finally sat up, placing her head in her hands as her shoulders continued to shudder between sobs, but then another sound reached her ears. Footsteps were comming fast.
Feeling a bit of terror form insider her, she refured to look. It's that thing again isn't it? I must be, who else would be out her this late? It's back to get me now she thought to herself, unable to consider another factor. And of course her suspisions were wrong.
Crystal... a voice spoke, but it wasn't harsh at all, but the child was too caught up with fear to notice. It knows my name! It knows my name! It...Wait...T-that can't be that thing... the bori girl thought as she then lowered her hands slowly from her face and looked up and into the concerned eyes of her fathers whome had kneeled down in front of her. Even so, she was still too in shock to move but releif washed over her as some of the terror died away. Although, tears continued to flow and she continued to shake as she was pulled into his arms.
Where have you been...? he asked and Crystal heard the shake in his voice. He'd ovbiously been beyond worried. She didn't reply with words at first either but motioned towards the path nearby. Her father looked up, studying it for a moment but before he could say anything, Crystal added, Jesse...I...We went up...Path... She felt too weak and was shaken up greatly and left out a few words from her reply.
Her father looked down at her, noticing just how greatly terrified she seemed. You know you shouldn't explore in unknown places, something bad could happen... he said and Crystal felt her stomach twist with quilt. ...and...Where's Jesse? her father added in.
Crystal couldn't help it as her eyes gew widder and her hands, which were both clutching one of her fathers, began to shake rappidly, giving her father even more reason to look worried. Slowly, she raised one hand and pointed up the path. The...Cave... she stated softly but then stared in horror at her hand while her father looked back up at the pathway.
A bit of red could be seen between her fingers. Slowly and shakily, she turned her hand around and her eyes widdened even more as she saw and understood the liquid she'd felt earlier. Her whole hand, which was the right one by the way...the geen one, was covered with drying, red, blood and she knew there was probably some on her face from pressing her hands to it. She didn't nothinb about it though, only continued to stare with a horrified -disallowed_word- which is rarely is since I clean it out a lot) or else I don't reply there for a long time, you can neomail me on this account or any other of my accounts.

*His right eyes isn't empty, it's black.
*He's NOT a vampire even if he has fangs.
*Those are spines running up his arms, legs, and tail.
*The last(longest) bit of fur on the end of his tail IS curved for a reason.
*And his ears ARE curved in like horns.

I want to treat the ones who love me with respect,
I want to tell the world I would never harm them,

I want to call my dad and tell him that I care,
