Welcome to Mall of Neopia's homepage! You are either here because you have been referred to this page to fill out the mall application, or because the shop you are trying to visit doesn't exist. Mall of Neopia is undergoing quite a few changes. We're amping up the guild for the next few months, working on activities, an adoption agency, cool events, and more! Application

If you would like to apply for an open position and you meet the size 100 requirement, copy and paste the application into a neomail, fill it out, and neomail it to Weatherbee. If your shop is size 80 - 99, you can apply, but you will have two weeks to upgrade your shop to the required size 100.

Staff Application

If a council position ever becomes available, the open position will be listed here, along with a description of duties performed. If you're interested in being on council in Mall of Neopia, please neomail return_of_weatherbee. Don't include the questions in your neomail, only the answers. Please number the answers as well. This makes things easier for me.

Open Position(s)

1. Human Resources

You will take care of the newbies in the mall and guild. Whoever recruits the newbie will let you know who they just referred. You must send the newbie a welcome message and all the information they need to know upon joining, and where to find certain things on the webbie. This position is idea for someone that doesn't have much time on the computer due to real life responsibilities.

2. Recruiter

You will be on the Shop Chat, Charter and Main Hall threads DAILY. You are responsible for making new threads when old ones asplode, and keeping them active. This position is ideal for someone that ENJOYS talking to others, has patience with others, and doesn't insult people when they are rude on our recruiting thread (because they will be). This position is also ideal for someone that can spend 4 hours online daily, preferably 4 spaced-out hours (9am - 10am, 12pm - 1pm, 4pm - 5pm, and 7 pm - 9pm) is a prime example. Those aren't the required hours, but you get the picture.
*Note - To apply for this position you MUST have access to Neopets Premium. You cannot advertise on Charter or the Main Hall without it!

3. Advertising Department

This job title is not what it sounds like. You are NOT in charge of placing ads. You are in charge of finding people to do our layouts. Examples include guild layouts, new webbie layouts, glitters, banners, buttons, shop layouts, and Directory layouts. I tell you what we need, you find it.

4. Co-Owner

You will inspect everyones' shops every week on Sunday. There only two things you are responsible for inspecting. You need to make sure they have 3 or more pages, and that most of their shop is full of items they're supposed to be selling. You also need to make sure there are NO banners in their shops that shouldn't be there, as well as the banner that SHOULD be there has been updated. This information should be neomailed to me by 5:00pm NST on Sunday. That's 5:00pm NST (Neopian Standard Time) on SUNDAY. It will be accepted ANYTIME Sunday before 5:00pm NST. I feel that I have to repeat myself multiple times because some people just won't get it. You will also be helping me with other things around the guild and mall too. This is the position with the most responsibility.

Rules

This is quite possibly the section that the majority of you tend to skip, but if you do, you are at risk of losing your spot in Mall of Neopia. Please make sure you read through each rule, as to ensure none are broken during your stay.

1. Your shop name must include Mall of Neopia somewhere.
2. You must have page numbers on your shop.*
3. Your shop must be 80% full or 3+ pages at all times.
4. You must be a size 100 to join.
5. You must have the mall banner in your shop at ALL times.
6. You cannot have any banners that advertise another shop or mall.
7. Eighty percent of your shop must be stocked with items from your category. The other 20% may be what you want.
8. Let Weatherbee know if you will be on vacation for 3+ days.
9. Update the banner every Tuesday.
10-blocked- our guild on your main or a constantly-checked side account. You must be able to prove that this is an active side account.
11. Enable guild mailing.
12. Read the Restocker's Guide, along with other pages on the navigation bar.
13. Put your birthday on the calendar.
14. We, of course, strictly enforce all rules that TNT has placed over the site. Failure to follow any of the rules that you agreed to upon signing the Terms & Conditions will result in being reported and deleted from Mall of Neopia, and possibly frozen from Neopets altogether. It's your choice to follow the rules, and you also get to enjoy the wonderful disciplinary actions that come along with breaking them..
15. Harassment of any kind toward any member of Mall of Neopia will have you blocked and deleted from the mall. We do not tolerate harassment in any form.
16. Spamming up the guild with pointless messages is never fun nor appreciated. Being active is meant to keep the guild and mall fun and it's very important that you post at least once a week.
17. Do not beg members for neopoints or items. This will be your one-way-ticket to being booted from the guild and mall permanently.

* - This rule is not in effect as of now due to Neopets coding restrictions.

Congratulations to LUCY! You are our new shop of the month! Your Avatar shop is perfect! Congratulations, and enjoy the extra sales you will get this month!

You can also enjoy our new banner, which is located in the Graphics section. I think you will like it. It's definitely like NOTHING any of you have ever seen before. Plus, it's small, so no longgggg scrolling before finally getting to your items.

I need everyone to do the following:

• Apply for a council position if you wish. I need to fill at least one of those slots soon.
• go here and post something.
• Bookmark that link.
• Visit it each day when doing your dailies to keep it bumped. If we don't have all these positions filled in a couple of weeks, i'm closing the mall down. No, it will not be given to someone else, it will be CLOSED. I can not and will not do everything alone. I don't have the time. If you're not IN the mall, just the guild, then you don't have to help. It is the responsibility of EVERYONE in the MALL to keep this page bumped. It takes 5 seconds to visit this link once a day and post a smiley face. If you can't find the time to do this, then you should PROBABLY reconsider being here.
