Introduction

Hello, I'm Corellie, the magnificent and incredible Fire Wocky. I am a veteran Neopet, even though I just got reborn (ugh) and I know all kinds of stuff about the old days of Neopets. So, if you ever want to know about Neopets' history, just ask me! I love having fun, trying to go on adventures, hiding from the Monocerous and spending time with my family. My family's pretty cool except for that weird human slaving over my page because she has nothing better to do, but since she waited six years to recreate me, I guess she's not so bad.

Geez... thanks. I'm Caz and I am absolutely insane. Honest. My favourite Neopets are Wockies, Aishas and Kougras. Why, yes, I do like cats. My first ever Neopet was a Flotsam. Corellie was... well, not the second or third. Maybe fifth or sixth.

W-what?! I thought I was second, or third! Purita too!

Well... see, I made two other Flotsams after Aquafish and disowned them for some odd reason, then I made a Macy_Gray and got rid of that as well. So, nope. Sorry to bring down your hopes. Aquafish was definitely the first though. Anyway, this introduction's getting too long.

You are quite right. On to my stunning, exciting, drama-filled history! I should write an autobiography someday.

History

This is what Corellie looked like when she was born!

I was born on the 31st of December, 1999, two months after Neopets had been launched. I don't exactly remember the details because, well, I was too young. Around the same time, Caz created a Uni named Purita. She can't remember who came first, but she brought us home where we had a sibling waiting for us. Aquafish was a Green Flotsam and Purita was a Blue Uni. At the time, only a maximum of three pets were allowed per account, so we didn't get any other siblings for a while.

Life was happy and fun as I played with my sisters and grew up in the exciting new world that was Neopia Central. I had no idea of my origins or anything, just that I was born in Neopia. Everything was peaceful. I was safe, content and I had nothing to fear. Well, nothing to fear, until that day when Caz told me of a terrifying, dreadful evil, and from that day, I knew I was never truly safe.

"Corellie, I've got something to tell you," Caz said, sitting on the couch and looking down at me where I happily batted a yarn ball. I stopped playing and sat still, looking up at her in wide-eyed curiosity.

"What is it?" I asked, wondering if maybe she knew it was me who took that cookie from the jar without asking.

"I created you in order to protect you from a monster," Caz announced. "I felt sorry for Wockies, so I made one."

"... Monster?" I repeated slowly. Monsters really did exist? At the time, I thought they were scary stories made up to make us sleep at night.

"It is called the Monocerous."

"Monsterous?"

"No. Mo-no-cer-ous."

I nodded, trying to commit the name to memory. "So... what does it do?"

"It... has a favourite delicacy," Caz said, looking uncertain.

Feeling quite curious, I put my paws on her knees to get closer and whispered in excitement. "What's that?"

Caz leaned forward, her eyes boring into mine, and then she yelled, "The Monocerous eats Jibjibs and WOCKIES!"

"EEK!" I cried, before fainting.

My life was not the same again, knowing I could be eaten by a Monocerous or that right now, a poor innocent little Jubjub was being snacked on. Oh yeah, that's right. Jibjibs are Jubjubs now. How times change, huh? So, after waking up, Caz made me read a book called Basic Survival Skills but it was useless in my opinion. There wasn't even a Battledome yet then. Caz tried to tell me the book was not useless and could be useful if the Monocerous came knocking on the door and asked for more than a cup of tea. What a silly idea.

Anyway, not long after my innocent view of Neopia was destroyed, the Pet Limit was stretched from 3 pets to 4, which was a good thing. So Caz went pound surfing for a new pet and she accidentally adopted a Bruce_Forsyth. Now, we have nothing against gameshow producers, but Caz didn't really want a Bruce_Forsyth. His name was Ritabbi, I recall. So, Caz decided to test something. Could pets die if they were not fed for a long time?

... Hold on, does this mean Caz actually fed us once upon a time? I thought it was just a beautiful dream that I made up to make my past seem all rosy and happy. CAZ! Why don't you feed us anymore? >=(

I do not have the time and patience to do something that I discovered doesn't actually matter. Now get on with it.

Wah. I wish I was still fed every day. Obviously, Ritabbi did not croak. Caz eventually got bored and disowned him. For the uneducated, Bruce_Forsyths are now Bruces. The original was actually a photograph of the British TV actor, Bruce Forsyth. Weird, huh? There was also Macy Gray, a caricature of the singer who's the Kau now. Sorry for rambling. Back to my history...

After getting rid of poor Ritabbi, Caz got a Tigren next whom she created. His name was 2000Fuzzie2000. For the record, Caz wasn't terribly good at pet names back then. I mean, Aquafish? Please! Sadly, 2000Fuzzie2000 didn't really fit in with us so Caz disowned him as well. He only went on to become the horrible looking Acara anyway, though it was improved upon later. Now, would Aquafish, Purita and I ever get a fourth sibling to stay?

Well, Caz did get another Neopet. However, KawaiiChibiTyger the Kougra didn't stick around long and was soon disowned. What a weird name. So, yes, another doomed fourth pet for the account. Surely, something had to change?

Life was starting to get kind of dull around then. We weren't really being fed, all we ever did was play with toys and read books, nothing much was happening and Caz had stopped looking for a fourth pet, which was just as well, I guess. Then, some time in 2000, the Shoyru emerged into Neopia. At first, they were limited edition, which disappointed Caz, but she patiently waited. She really wanted that cute dragon pet. Eventually, the Shoyru became unlimited, so Caz rushed out to get one and returned home with a little green shoyru. His name was Shamrock2000 (See what I mean about Caz being bad at names? Thankfully, she got over putting years on the names.)

Life was now a little more interesting with Shamrock around. He was quite hyper and playful. Aquafish got a new look which was cute and much nicer than the plain, boring one before it. Sadly, the Flotsam got yet another change later, which Caz somehow didn't notice, and I think it's not as cute now. I also got a revamp, though Caz barely noticed that either, she just realised I looked a bit different.

Let me tell you here, the old Wocky is badly drawn and scruffy. How could she hardly notice I'd changed?

... *sigh* Maybe she ignored it on purpose because it looked so rubbish. -_-;

Then something terrible happened. The great food shortage of Neopia, some time in the middle of 2000. The four of us were quite unimpressed that Caz was almost finding it impossible to even buy food anymore. NP wasn't the problem. The stores were always sold out and the marketplace was the only source of food. I don't exactly know what happened, but at least it's easier to get free food now. Hooray for Giant Omelette and Giant Jelly!

What Giant Jelly? You aren't ill, are you? *feels Corellie's forehead*

Oh, ha ha. -_-;;; Anyway, it wasn't so fun. Books were disappearing too. It used to be that they wouldn't vanish after being read, but that's not the case now. Things were really dull. We were even tired of playing with toys, but there really was nothing to do. At the time, Caz really wanted a paintbrush so one of us could be painted, but I guess she just didn't have enough NP for that either. It wasn't really so easy to make lots of NP back then. I wish I could have been a Unicorn Wocky. That would have been great. Sadly, Unicorn pets no longer exist. The Unicorn Paintbrush became Coltzan's Gem.

Caz was getting quite bored of Neopets and getting disillusioned with everything as well. I think she felt she had too many pets as well, because one day, she suddenly picked up Shamrock2000 and put him in the pound. I think that was late 2000 or early 2001, I'm not exactly sure. Caz sure doesn't keep records or anything. So now she just had the three of us again and she didn't adopt any other pets.

It was still boring though. Then in the summer of 2001, Caz's friend came to Neopets. The friend created an Elephante named Ellie_ellie2000 and was quite keen on the site. Caz even gave some toys. She almost made the fatal mistake of giving her... a Magical Green Meerca Plushie she'd got somehow, probably from Meerca Chase. Take note, at this time, Caz had no idea what Magical Green Meerca Plushies did, so thank goodness she didn't hand it over to her friend. Ellie was nicer as a Cloud Elephante (Her owner had received the paintbrush in a random event on the very day she signed up. How lucky.)

Oh, yes, on that very day, something happened. Caz thought she would be better off with just one Neopet. Sad to say, Aquafish and Purita were whisked away to the pound and adopted by other people. Now it was just me, at the mercy of the evil Magical Green Meerca Plushie. For that week, Caz entered me in the Beauty Contest, which would begin on Monday. Monday was also the day the Rainbow Fountain was opening (Back then, you had to get tickets to paint your pets. No waiting for a faerie to ask you for something.)  And yes, I had to mention the Beauty Contest here, because Caz made me. *glares at Caz* She thinks it's funny. You'll find out why in a minute.

In the meantime, Caz had given Ellie all the toys except that evil plushie. I was sad because there was nothing to play with, so Caz saved the plushie for me... still not knowing what it did.

... Let's just say she found out.

And I was the unfortunate victim.

Yes. Before her very eyes, I had been transformed into a foul, loathsome and ugly green Meerca! The horror! I immediately ran, hiding and crying as I realised what I had become. The days were dark, I was depressed, I barely came out of my room. I couldn't face what I was now. No longer was I a beautiful, glamorous Wocky. No, I was a hideous rat thing. Caz wasn't too happy about it either, she doesn't like Meercas any more than I do.

Now, remember I said the Rainbow Fountain was coming? Good timing. However, it was also the same day the next Beauty Contest was opening. I had been entered a Wocky but... now I was a Meerca!

Monday just couldn't come soon enough. That mean Caz ran all the way to Faerieland, dragging me by my tail. She wouldn't even put a paper bag over me so that nobody could see the filthy rodent I was. As soon as she reached the fountain, she asked the nice Faeries to turn me into a Gold Wocky and handed the tickets over. I plunged into the cold fountain water and was quite relieved to feel myself turning back into a Wocky. I happily leaped out, admiring my beautiful shiny coat.

Oh yes, while I was a Green Meerca, Caz did something that was not so nice. She adopted another Wocky that was just 0 hours old at the time. How could she? It was a Yellow Wocky named Starlight21392 and she was a bit bratty. I didn't really like her that much. She was such a suck-up and always trying to get Caz's attention. Anyway, enough about her.

When we returned home, I asked Caz how I was doing in the Beauty Contest. She went to check and came back to tell me that...

I was in the Meerca section.

NO! My wocky picture, in the Meerca section? Even though I was a Wocky again? I was so humiliated I stomped off to my room and sulked.

... Stop laughing, Caz.

It's still funny. Sorry. By the way, Corellie got no votes...

Anyway, life was pretty uncool now that I had a bratty little sister who thought the world revolved around her, but I mostly just ignored her, though she was annoying and whiny. Caz began putting me in the Battledome and training me, then she got a White Paintbrush and painted Starlight into a White Wocky. Caz's friend left Neopets eventually. Starlight continued to be a real horror and I was getting tired of losing so often in the Battledome.

Caz soon got fed up with Neopets again and proceeded to paint me Blue and Starlight Red. Why had she done that? Because she was about to disown us. So she did, left Neopets, and that was the end of it. Well, actually, nope. In the pound, nobody adopted me, so I was just sitting there, feeling bored as I waited to be adopted, feeling quite sad because I missed Caz and my home.

Sometime after leaving Neopets, Caz met Britt, who was also on Neopets, and told her about me! So Britt saved me from the pound and I came to the twin_kougras account, where I met my new siblings, Permasuri, Suki_Kohana and Fluffrstuffr. I was very happy to be in a new home at last and liked it a lot. Permasuri was a Silver Kougra, Suki a white Kougra and Fluff a Christmas Chia. Even though I loved my new home, I was still missing Caz.

Eventually, Caz returned to Neopets and Britt gave her twin_kougras, so finally we lived together again. Life was good and stuff, I can't really think of anything notable, except Caz joined the Hyper Wocky Lovers guild and I had a lot of fun with my new Wocky friends. Sadly, most of them aren't around anymore and the guild became inactive, but I'll always fondly remember my friends. Also, the Rainbow Fountain came back again, with tickets, so I became a Fire Wocky!

There was a scary incident that happened on the 1st April 2002, but luckily that was sorted out. The less said about that, the better. But then, on June 5th of that year, something terrible happened. twin_kougras got frozen and Caz couldn't get it back, then she was told it had been frozen for too long so it couldn't be returned. The frozen world is really not a nice place. However, I came back in ghost form while my siblings were still frozen, some months later to hang out with Caz, Britt and their pets.

How did I come out, especially as a ghost? Well, see, I was hanging around the graveyard. I don't remember much of that, but it seems Edna put a curse on the graveyard to keep ghost pets there but Midnight_sorrow saved me! ... Okay, this was all just an excuse so Caz could still roleplay me. But I was cool as a ghost, I could float through walls and stuff.

Sometime after my terrible freezing, Neopets started purging accounts. Caz patiently waited for twin_kougras to be purged, but as time passed, nothing happened. Aquafish and Purita were purged since their new owners were inactive, so she recreated them. Finally, on 22nd April 2007, twin_kougras was purged, and I was born again along with Suki, Suri and Fluff. I hope nothing bad happens to us ever again. We were quickly painted, so I'm a Fire Wocky again and I intend to remain one, because Fire is awesome.

A lot has happened in nearly five years. For one thing, I actually have a daughter! Course, I got to know her while being a ghosty. HoshiSakae the white Wocky, or Hoshi for short, is hyper, insane, obsessed with the Badeek, loves Jhudora and despises Illusen. I'm trying to raise her right. Honest... but I'm finding it too difficult to keep her away from the Prozac. Hoshi's always getting up to stuff with Midnight_sorrow's daughter, KaikaTenshi.

Well, life certainly isn't boring. What other adventures await me, I wonder? It sure is odd to have Aquafish and Purita around again, and I don't think Caz will be letting them go. She feels bad about them being neglected and purged, I don't think she wanted that, especially for her first ever Neopet.

Now how did I get a daughter? It starts with this mysterious place known as Aurëa. One night, in my ghost form, I was whisked away there by some mysterious Wocky. Apparently it's a magical land of Wockies that's been around forever and the Wockies there are super, super old. (Yes, Caz makes up a lot of rubbish.) So I was born on the 31st of Celebration... er, December, in Year 1 of the Neopian calendar. I had parents too. Anyway, dangers were approaching Auréa, so they sent me to Neopia Central where I was created.

 I'd tell you what Caz wrote up concerning my parents in Auréa, but it's an awful rip off of some video game where a loved one is turned into a monster and slain by the one who loves-

Hey! It's not a rip off of Tales of Symphonia! ... Honest

So, the Wocky was telling me the tragic, clichéd tale of what happened to these imaginary parents (by the way, my mother was a Mary Sue or something. At least, she sounded like it with the name and description Caz wrote up. Bad Caz.) Then he told me I had a daughter because they foresaw my fate and wanted my legacy to continue, so one night I was sleeping and was teleported away (this was before I was frozen) to Aurëa where they created a baby Wocky from my body. Shortly after I was frozen, the Wocky which was in suspended animation got sent down to Neopia Central. Somehow, Caz adopted it. No, it makes no sense and is too coincidental. I hate this stupid story.

I was told I would know the Wocky who was my daughter the moment I saw it, which of course made even less sense than everything else because Caz is on something and is also mentally unstable. I was sent home, feeling quite perplexed at all this nonsense. So, the next morning, I was in the house where Caz's main account pets lived, eating watermelon for breakfast. Then Hoshi came in and I screamed and fainted.

... I screamed and fainted because I realised it was her. Somehow. Curse that Wocky for being right about me automatically knowing. Curse him, I say!

I woke up, hearing Hoshi yelling for Basher Badeek to help.

... It's no wonder I fainted. Really. I woke up with everyone standing around me, looking quite worried. I proceeded to tell them all the silly story Caz had made up and resigned myself to the fact that I have a daughter who is insane, addicted to Prozac, loves Badeeks, thinks Jhudora is good and Illusen is evil. I don't think I've even managed to stabilize her yet. She's a bit more mature now, only just, so it's become easier to deal with her.

My previous petpets in the past were a Mummy Baby named Zoey, a Green Warf named Patches, and a White Gathow named Mysteria. Hopefully, Buttercream is here to stay. She flies around the room a lot and she really is so adorable.

Random Facts

I actually refused to read World Class Wockys. At the time, Caz thought I was insane, but then she discovered that there was code that made pets with a certain number of letters in their name refuse certain items. Not counting spaces, the book's name is 16 letters long and Corellie is eight letters long, so because it's twice the amount of letters in my name, I won't read it.

Before learning about the letter limit and before the language change was implemented, Caz tried to give me a Doglefox. She loved Doglefoxes. However, I refused to take it (Doglefox= eight letters, just like my name.) So Caz fed me Chewing Dung in revenge. Ew. Thankfully, I took my Alkenore because she changed the language so that the amount of letters would not be a problem.

Psimouse is eight letters long. It was another Petpet I refused. Well, Psimice are just creepy!

My Owner

Caz... well, she's insane, scary and very strange. She joined Neopets around the 22nd November 1999, when she was 12 years old and her first account, where I lived with Aquafish and Purita, was cazrules. I don't know why she's stuck with the site for so long, but she likes to be on here when bored. She doesn't play Neopets as much as she used to.

My Family

This is where you get to hear about my siblings.

Suki_Kohana

This is Suki, the white Kougra, and she's sweet, friendly and quite playful. Sometimes she can be a little crazy, like daring me to go out to the Haunted Woods at night once. Suki's full name translates to Precious Little Flower.

Permasuri

Suri is Suki's twin sister and is a little more reserved and serious than her twin, as well as somewhat more sensible and practical. She was named after Midnight_sorrow's friend, Permaisuri.

Fluffrstuffr

Fluffrstuffr is rather quiet and cautious, he likes nothing more than to sit down and read by himself, but he does like spending time with us and he's friendly. Don't know where his name comes from, Britt didn't create him and neither did Caz. Used to be a Christmas Chia, but well, Christmas Chias got remade and aren't that good.

HoshiSakae

Hoshi is my insane daughter who is madly in love with the Badeek, which became the Kacheek. However, that doesn't mean she loves the Kacheek. She also thinks that Jhudora is good and likes Jhudora best out of all the faeries. Oddly enough, she thinks Illusen is evil. I've given up on trying to reason with her. Hoshi is always hyper and she loves to get up to crazy things, especially with her best friend, Kaika.

HariNamida

Hari, my cousin, is a special Aisha who has some interesting powers. She's very responsible about using them and while she does like to have fun, she's more serious than she looks and is quite level-headed about things.

Sosei

Sosei is also my cousin and she looks shy on the outside and is quite sweet, but inside she hides a mischevious nature and stealing Caz's neopoints to go on a shopping trip is certainly not below her. She used to fly pretty badly at first, but I think she's getting better.

AmaiHitohana

Last but not least, another cousin. Amai is rather fierce and bossy, her cuteness is merely a cover and she's not afraid of anything. Never annoy her, those bites hurt. However, she is fiercely loyal and quite friendly.
