~Lapping Waves

The breeze is at a minimum, and it's a warm day out- the sun shines brightly down upon the sandy beach. The sand is wet under your toes, and the beach is inexplainably clean- in fact, you haven't even stepped on any rocks or shells. There's not a Neocola can to be seen. There's hardly a lifeform to be seen besides yourself, actually. You're wondering where everybody is when you hear a spirited whistle from somebody walking down the beach.
Ah! Hello!
This somebody is a striped Shoyru, small in size and carrying a small fabric pouch loaded with small shells. A wadjet is lazily curled around the horn on her head, eyes closed. The Shoyru flits her undersized wings and grins up at you.
Who are you?" you ask.
I'm Cora!
guest.
She continues to smile happily, spotting another shell face-down in the sand. Cora stoops down and picks it up, dropping it into her bag. The wadjet hisses, its eyes flicking open.
And this is Slither, my wadjet!
The wadjet nods at you.
It's nice to meet both of you," you say. "Do you live around here?
I live up on Guild Street, up that hill," Cora replies cheerfully. "Here! Have a shell."
