Here is Kavou's story of his birth, and the beginning steps on meeting Jhayi. I hope you like it.

Kavou's Tale

This is a story all about Kavou when he was young and as he grew up. I hope you enjoy it.

The Kidnapping

The newborn male kyrii yawned, rolling over onto his side as his new parents gazed down at his small locks of dark brown hair. He was everything the elderly couple had ever wanted: they had dreamed of a child but were never blessed with one, until a pregnant female kyrii came to their house and birthed the little boy right in front of their eyes. However, she made the greatest sacrifice in having him -- she gave up her life. The couple buried her in the meadow behind their cottage, and made sure to place a small lily every day on her grave.

Soon the couple grew tired, and petted the sleeping boy one last time before they retired to their room to sleep. They could not wait to take him to the ancient temple in the morning to give him a proper naming ceremony. However, they would never get the chance to do so. Outside the window a gathering of dark black ravens, with golden eyes, had spotted the young boy. Yet, the real problem was their master would soon be coming to see the boy, as well.

The wind gave a deathly howl to signal the arrival of the King of the Forest, or the ravens' master. He was called The Black Hawk. He had light almost clear green eyes and black feathers. He had a ghastly stink about him from all the residents of the forest he had caught and killed. He softly whispered a few words causing the window of the cottage to slowly open. He could barely fit through the window, yet because of his magical abilities he managed quit easily to fit. He flew like a tiny dove around the room, until he spotted the boy and landed on the crib. Even with his great size he managed not to even rock the crib when he landed. He gazed down at the small kyrii and examined every tiny strand of the boys light purple coat. However, when he removed the blanket covering the boy, the tiny kyrii opened his eyes for the first time. The Hawk was alarmed by the intensity of the child's piercing green eyes. They excited him, and with one more look at the boy's body, he knew he had found his new heir. Slowly he took his claws and placed them around the boy's middle and began to fly out of the window. All that was left in the room was a few black feathers to replace the boy. However, no matter how gently the Hawk tried to hold the boy, it was just not in his nature, and soon the child began to cry.

Hush, my son, said the Hawk in a screechy voice. There is no need for you to cry; why, my boy, you are going to be my heir. You will be trained by the greatest witches and warlocks there are, and the evilest monsters in these woods. All shall fear your name and all will obey you... so don't cry, little one. Slowly the Hawk craned in neck and rubbed his beak against the boy's cheek. Oddly, this cool touch from the beak soothed the boy's tears.

Oh, Master! Look at how you calmed the boy's crying. He was meant to be your son and heir! Cawed the ravens.

Yes, you are right; he is perfect--this was meant to be! Now all he needs is a name; a strong but royal name.

The Hawk scanned the sky for an answer, until he had reached a decision.

My son, your name will be Kavou. What do you think?

The baby kyrii licked his small purple paw and rubbed his eyes. He opened his mouth to yawn and smiled up at the Hawk King. The Hawk and ravens screeched with delight, believing this was his sign of approval.

Back at the cottage, the wails of the boy had woken the old woman. She rushed to aid the boy, but in finding the crib empty and black feathers all over the floor, she fell to her knees in tears.

Roger, they have taken him! The Black Hawk has taken our son! yelled the old woman.

The old man rushed to his wife's side, but when he saw the crib empty, he too fell to his knees and cried.

Molly, we will get him back! We will go to the King of Ketal's castle. He will help us retrieve our son. said the old man.

The King of Ketal and Kavou's Training

Molly and Roger packed their cottage up the next morning. They went to Kavou's mother's grave, and placed a small white lily by the tombstone. It would take them 10 months to reach the castle, or longer, because of their age. Yet, in the Black Hawk Kings castle Kavou was already being force to learn how to walk and hold a sword. By his third month with the Hawk King; Kavou had learned how to fight in the dark, and listen to the sounds of the forest. He was catching on much quicker then expected. The Hawk King was very please.

Finally, after two years of walking the elderly couple reached the castle walls of Ketal. But when they entered the town no one cared about their missing son. This was because only a few weeks ago a tiny princess was born in the castle, and she was said to be a goddess of beauty. Her name was Jhayi, and she was the only child the town and castle cared about.

Molly and Roger were finally allowed entry into the castle, but the King was not exactly kind to them. They explained that the Hawk King had stolen their son two years ago, and He the King of Ketal must help them get him back. The old couple believed in their King, but on mentioning the King Hawk, the King's attitude towards the couple changed.

Guards! Get these kyriis out of my sight. I do not want my darling Jhayi to see them. shouted the King.

Molly and Roger were confused and did not understand the actions of their King. Molly fell you her knees and begged the King of Ketal to help them, but the guards just dragged her away. Roger was furious, but because of his age he knew he could not do anything to fight the guards off. Molly and Roger left the kingdom of Ketal and sailed to the Isle of Actinia; hoping that the powerful princess Tavares would help them. Roger and Molly were never heard from again.

However, the real reason the King wanted them gone was the fear that was building up inside of him. He recalled, back when he was just a boy, the Hawk King had taken a fancy in one of his friends, Albertor. Albertor, was from a wealthy home and was going to become a knight for the kingdom of Ketal when he became old enough. But instead, the Hawk King turned him into a monster by his 15th birthday. It took all of the last king's knights to bring Albertor down. The worst part was the affection his little sister showed to Albertor. In the end Albertor ran off with his sister and was killed. The present King's sister never forgave there father and became mad with hate. The King feared for his knights but most importantly his new daughter, Jhayi.

The Mission

Kavou was running fast through the woods. The time had come for his very first mission. He was excited and full of confidence. He had trained with the best and knew that spying on a member of the royal court was child's play.

The hooves of Kavou's alabriss, Slint, pounded on the ground next to him. Slint was a demon horse the grave dwellers had given to Kavou's father, the Hawk King, and Slint had been given to Kavou on his fifth birthday. Kavou could match Slint's speed, however if he ever became tired Slint was there to carry him the rest of he way, or incase Kavou was hurt in any way Slint was meant to carrie Kavou home. His father had done this because Kavou was a young boy, and his heir, and his safty was very important to the Hawlk King. In the end, they were the perfect pair, not one person in the forest could match their speed.

Slint's fire mane gave a soft hissing sound, and his hooves charred the ground as they rode through the forest. With Kavou's training they were a dangerous pair.

They were running in darkness. Not a star shown in the sky, but because of the Vampires training Kavou had mastered echo vibration. This allowed him to see on the darkest of nights and see things others could not. Kavou breathed calmly as he concentrated on the mission at hand.

Kavou, we are reaching the end of the forest I think you need to use your training now. said Slint.

Very well. stated Kavou, in an exasperated voice.

Kavou jumped up on Slints back and closed his eyes as they road through the forest. Slowly, he placed his paws over his head and claped them together. A soft green glow covered his paws. Next, he seperated his paws in front of Slint's muzzle. Slowly, Slint's muzzle glowed green and began to disappear. It was as if Kavou was covering them in darkness. Soon they had disappeared all together. They quickened their pace knowing that this technique would only last in the darkness, and Kavou would have to use a different one once the sky turned light.

Finally, they reached the castle walls. Kavou began to dig a small hole by the wall. He knew he would find what he was looking for. A few days ago he had given the item to a raven to burrie by the wall. Soon Kavou held a small brown pouch in his teeth. He reached in and grabed the black horse hair in the pouch and threw the hair into Slint's firey mane. Slint began to change into a black stallion as the horse hair turned to ashes. Kavou lead Slint around to the King's stables. It was a perfect disguise; no one would know he did not belong... except for the horses.

Kavou placed Slint in an empty stall and patted his head, and Slint wrapped his head around Kavou's side. His eyes begged to go with his master and friend, but also told Kavou not to forget about him being there. Kavou petted Slint one more time, showing that he understood, and walked out of the stable. When he reached the white marble walls of the castle, he climbed them quickly and easily; the Black Panther had taught him well. Soon, he was resting in a big oak tree, waiting for his mission to begin; not knowing what he was getting himself into.

My Family

Here are my babies. I hope you like them Jay. They each have an extensive character design and personality, but I will only write a little bit about their personality and history.

tavares_32778: This is my baby hissi Tavares. I adopted her from the pound when she was a sad blue hissi and painted her baby five minutes later. She is a purple python, about 7 years old. She lives on an Isle called Actinia. She is a princess there. However, this sweet little hissi is cursed because she is the millionth hissi born on the Isle, causing her to have powers of control. She can command anyone to do anything if they look into her emerald green eyes, but creatures with green eyes cannot be controlled. That is one reason why I gave Kavou green eyes like hers. She also can talk to spiritual beings. The sad thing is she only wants to be a little girl, but these powers make it impossible for her to act like one.

Florarin: Here is my faerie lupe Flora. I got her from a fountain faerie quest. She is 11 years old and a true sweet heart. She is an artic wolf that loves to flirt with all the princes, most importantly Clythenn. She lives in a frozen waste land. Many years ago her home Isle called Tricia was curse to be covered in ice. Even when the sun shines the ice will not melt. Flora's older brother left to find a cure, but was never seen again. This has really hurt Flora.

queela_: I adopted Queela my desert cybunny by making a neomail application. She is 9 years old and not like any of my other pets because she is from 2007; all my other pets are from 500BC or later. Queela was teased and made fun of for being smart, one day she decided to change that. Queela took and internship with an archeologist. She went to the Isle of Actinia to find out what happened to the civilizations that use to live there. By messing around with the digging sit she found a key, that when placed in a crack in the rock face she fell back in time to take the place of a desert duchess. She becomes friends with Tavares when she enters this new world. Queela spends most of her time in the castle library where she meets Prince Jeri who is meant to marry Tavares, but that may change.

Jerimiias: I adopted Jeri from neopound. He is a desert kyrii, which I think will be a good friend for Kavou. He is 10 years old and really a confused youth. He had to leave his home in the desert to live with Tavares, so he could marry her when she is older. Basically, it is a political marriage. He plays pranks on people in the castle and hides his head in books when he is upset. This is how he meets Queela.

Acetor: This is my male camo kougra Ace. I created him and put him through the lab ray, until I decided that I wanted to paint him pirate, so he is done with the lab ray. He is 15, and a general in the army and one of Clythenn's very close friends. He is a rough guy and does not really know how to show his feelings. He cracks jokes all the time, but when he is on the battle field he is a force to reckon with. But, one day when he was on a train he noticed a faerie xweetok. She really caught his eye and so he tried to talk to her. However, she would not give him the time of day. Looks like he is in for a rough ride.

Xelchrisha: Chrisha is one of my favorite pets. I found her in the pound as a yellow xweetok. She was really hurt and sick. I loved her name so I placed her on my lab ray list. I healed her with some potions, and then I gave her a zap. In one zap she turned faerie. She is 13 years old and is a hidden princess. She fell in love with Flora's brother and was going to marry him, but when he never returned home she was ordered to choose a new husband. When she could not find one her father chose Clythenn for her. On the day she was suppose to leave to live with him she cut her long light pink hair and escape on a train, where she met Ace.

Clythenn: Once a long time ago I made an app for a royal male kougra, but the owner vanished and her pet is still up for adoption to this day. I was so upset I decided to create my own, and that is how I got Clythenn. He is a 15 year old prince from the Isle called Garlinda, which is one of the most powerful Isles in the area. However, he does not want to be a king. He wants to fight for his country with Ace, but because of his blood he has to be the king. He has many girls after him because he is handsome and powerful, but he really is not interested in anyone, but his dreams.

Estaphalia:Estaphalia, my green uni, was created because I was not chosen as the owner of a maraquan draik. I was going to change her into a draik and paint her maraquan, but after a few weeks I changed my mind. To tell you the truth I may never paint her. I love her design, and only a green uni would work for that design. Estaphalia's story is actually going to be connected with Slint, Kavou's Petpet. Estaphalia is a strange creature. She was discovered in the Woods of Haunting by Slint. Slint was going on a midnight run when he noticed a dragon tail stinking out of the grass. Slint wondering if he should go and get Kavou to caste a spell to make the dragon leave the area, but Slint was strong headed and talked himself out of it. When he walked over to the dragon he raised his fiery hooves high getting ready to kill it, but before he could a small horse head popped out of the grass. Dumb founded Slint backed away, but when the foal whinnied he knew he could not kill her, even if she was part dragon. Slint takes her back to Kavou and makes Estaphalia his responsibility. She is a horse that is part dragon and is immortal, just like Slint. They find friendship in each other, and maybe more.

This last pet is Sedjuro, my red hissi. I have not come up with a design or story for him yet.

Why Kavou

I am not really sure what it was that caught my eye about Kavou. Was it his strong look or was it his name? Honestly, I think it was his name. I am a name person, and if I don't like the name of a pet I really lose all interest in it. Kavou has the perfect name, full of power and royalty. I guess that is why you painted him royal.^^ Another reason I liked him was Jhayi. They looked perfect together and I just knew they were what I was looking for to make this account complete.

Plans for Kavou

I am very taken with Kavou and I really think he must be entered in the BC. I plan on drawing a picture of him riding Slint for the BC, or a picture of him casting a spell. Kavou will also be entered in the pet spotlight, and I may try to get TNT to accept a picture of him in the art gallery. Here is the first entry that I would enter in the BC if I got Kavou. He will also have a pet page, with customs of him, along with kyrii adoptables. His pet page will also contain his story, and many pictures of him. I want to make sure that it would also be connected with Jhayi. I will also have a link to a book of spells and pictures of all his teachers. I think that would really show what all he has learned. Kavou is going to have a really long story, and I plan on making it very detailed. Above is just a small glimpse of what his story is going to look like. He will also have a pet look up. Kavou however will not be a battle dome pet. I really don't like to battle my pets because I don't like to see them all cut up and bruised. However, I will train him and make him strong, even if he is not going to fight. Any ways, his character is strong so he might as well be in reality. I am going to buy 30 codestones for him, and place them in his gallery. He will train at The Mystery Island Training School until he is level 30. This way I wont be saying I am going to make his stronger I will have proof of it. Here is a link to his gallery Kavou's Gallery

Kavou already has a fire alabriss and I would like him to keep it. I think it suits his character and I can have some fun drawing the two of them together. Above is what Slint's design will look like. He is meant to have a dead look to his body, like his ribs outline are suppose to be seen, even though he is covered in muscles. He will have a dark grey body coloring, and red eyes cat eye pupils. Flames will be on his mane, tail, and hooves. However, his flames change colors with his moods, below is a list of what colors his flames change too with his moods.

Red & Yellow: This color appears when he is on a mission or when he is running. Basically it represents agility or when Slint is working hard.

Blue: Here Slint is calm or is sleeping.

Red & Magenta:The color appears when Slint is in love. Yet, when he is longing to be with Kavou, or see Kavou, his mane may turn a combination of red yellow and purple magenta.

Black & White: This is a color that if shown Slint is very dangerous. Slint would only show this color if he was fighting to save Kavou's life. It represents his demon rage inside of him.

Alycat Neopets

Ok, well my name is alycat, or you can call me aly. I have been playing neopets for about 3 to 4 years, and I am really addicted. I think the reason I like it so much is I can be anyone I want to be, an artist, a writer, a gamer, a shop owner, a spammer�just kidding about spammer. In the real world it is hard to be those things, but neopets makes it possible.

On neopets I play sponsor games, and make about 10k a day and have saved up 1 million nps. I also restock, but my shop gets cleaned out pretty quickly, so that keeps me busy. I also love to enter the BC or beauty contest. I draw pictures of my pets and work on getting customs of them. I am still working on making pet pages for all of them.

I have three accounts. My main account is alycat91588, which is where I would like to place Kavou but Jhayi will be on sweetgirl42904. I know it is not that impressive looking because I only have two green pets and a halloween bori, but I am working on painting them right not. sweetgirl42904,is where Jhayi will go, but she will still get entered in the BC just like all my other pets. This is because TNT decided to allow side account pets back into the BC! Hurray!

I also have a lab ray account called alycat171188. I am still working on that account, so don't pay too much attention to it. I also have two other accounts that I am just trying to age. actinia and kmafia. They don't have any pets on those accounts, but once the pound opens, I will be moving Flora, and Jeri or Queela to those accounts.

In the real world my name is Allison, and I am 18. Yea I know what you are thinking, why in the world would an 18 year old still play neopets? I guess I am just not normal.^^ However, I do, do some normal things. I love art and am working on a water color portrait of a chocolate lab for my college counselor. I really enjoy water colors; I actually did my whole AP or college art concentration in water colors. Basically, I drew and painted 12 pictures in water colors, all on one theme and sent them in to get graded. That was my hardest course to prepare for last year. The picture above is a self portrait I did in 10th grade.

I also love to write. I write stories about my pets all the time. I am thinking about making a book one day. That would mean that Kavou and Jhayi may be known by people all over the world. Well, I can dream. I also like to write pomes; hopefully you will like the ones in these apps.

Why alycat

I really hate this part because I am a modest person and writing about why you should pick me really puts me out of my comfort zone. Well, I have 2 million nps and that shows I am ready to provide for Kavou and Jhayi. I have characters all picked out for them and I can draw them fairly well. I have two spots on my main account that would be perfect for them. I also have plenty of time to spend with them because I really am not that busy of a person, and even when I am I make room for neopets. I am also a pretty nice girl. I love to help people and try to tutor my peers in information they don't understand. Well, that really is all I can think of, as I told you before this is really hard for me.

Here are some poems that I wrote down from Kavou's app. The first one just describes who Kavou is and what he looks like. The second one is written by Kavou. It is about him trying to keep fighting to impress his Father. He wants to reach perfection with his training, but it is slowly destroying him. He wrote this poem to reassure himself that it is possible to reach his goal.

Why I know you can guess who, it is a really easy one. Yep Kavou. Here are pictures of Kavou in his quad, or on all fours look, and anthro look. I thought I would add the few I did of Kavou in anthro because I worked very hard on them. I may work on more of Kavou in anthro if I was given the chance to adopt him, but for now he is my handsome quad boy. Kavou is also going to be commenting on all the pictures. He feels that I have not talked enough about him. Silly, silly boy

I made this Kavou's link because I fell in love with the divider. I also felt that the black branch and the ravens represented the darkness in his heart, but the moon shows the light of hope that is still inside him. I hope you like it.
