Houses were fickle things. Spend days building them, thousands furnishing them, and when one guest says he doesn't like the color of the shingles, POOF! Over goes a lantern, and the entire thing sets itself ablaze. One noble, whose house was particularly sensitive, having burned three times now, decided enough was enough. He called the most powerful sorcerers from around the mountain – along with one of the more attractive kitchen maids - and had them lock his house's soul into the maid's body. He named the house Radii, after the land his home was built on. He then locked her into a small room where she couldn't run away or cause trouble. She stayed there for some time, but one day realized that she still had control over the furnishings. She exploded a rice cooker near the noble's privet quarters, figuring that she would feel better after her escape if she knew that the man was dead. Unfortunately, the fire burned out of control and killed her. Years later, the house was reborn as a hairdresser's assistant. One day, the stylist went to a nob's house for work, and was horrified to learn that the man who imprisoned her had grandchildren. One of his grandsons, sharing his grandfather's love of imprisoned architecture, started to pursue her. She told him to bug off, and he ordered her killed. Again, Radii was reborn. Totally fed up with Shenkuu, she wandered north for some time, until she hit Terror Mountain. She didn't like it there very much, the houses were all much too squat and cold. So she moved southwest, until she chanced upon Neopia Central. It was there that she met some ambassadors from Shenkuu, who were delighted to find her. They were in desperate need of a translator, theirs had just left. The house was perfect for them, for by that time she spoke Shenkuuan (both kinds), some mountain dialects, and a bit of basic Neopian. She gladly followed them back to Shenkuu, for the houses were dull in Neopia Central, and she was hopelessly lost. She was quartered in the Imperial Palace, much to her delight. Disappointingly, the Palace turned out to be a bit of a snob, too good to be talking to a lowly Citadel. Citadel – as she was then called – got annoyed and left. She bought her own property, but was dismayed to find that with every floorboard nailed down, her humanity began to dissolve. So now the house simply moves from place to place, trying to keep herself entertained, and working on her hairdressing.

Names and Pets: Cit does not go by Cit, Citadel, or Radii, because all of those names are what she went by when bad things happened. She calls herself Doa, which is Japanese for door. Ch'irin was given as a gift by Mauviet as an apology for his alternate personality almost killing her. Ch'irin, at that time, looked like a regular Ukali, but when Doa took her back to Shenkuu, the petpet wandered a bit too close to a sculpture of a very powerful creature and was immediately transformed into a smaller version of the ancient animal. A Ch'irin is a mythical Chinese beast with one horn, scales, hooves, the body of a stag, and the tail of a cow, and was what the sculpture represented. Doa does not EVER call Mado Ch'irin, her name is named Mado, not Ch'irin, that part of her name is a description. Mado is Japanese for -blocked- Doa does not have any skill with pets, and frequently looses Mado. Personality: Doa is outgoing, sarcastic, cynical, and easily irritated. She has almost no concern for her own life, as she is good friends with the current King of Hell, Yanluo. This, and the fact that she cannot feel the pain of death, makes dying more irritating than horrible, as most people see it. She can be quite the snob, having been (in her original form) a house of great court standing. Quirks: This one is going to go on forever... Doa isn't afraid of death, but the idea of getting old terrifies her. She always carries her checkbook and a pen and pulls them out when she's bored. Because she is often in her formal robes, and the robes are made of silk, which is hard to clean, she has ranked up a large debt to her local laundromat. Doa always wears a headdress of copper, the weight comforts her. She likes something around her neck, be it a neckline on a shirt or a chocker necklace, which are always a plain band of velvet or some other valuable fabric. That is the only jewelry she will allow. She likes pants tight at the thighs and loose below the knees. She refuses to wear shoes without a heel. She always carries a metal lantern with fire inside it to which a ring is attached. When the ring is pulled, the lantern splits in half, and a small flame in a saucer of oil is dropped, hopefully (in her mind) burning whatever is threatening her to death, or to the point where it looses interest. See an example in life #1. She also usually carries a largish pail of water, to put out any flames on herself if she doesn't want to die at that particular moment. She frequently looses Mado, as she has no skill with pets whatsoever. She hates mice, cockroaches, ants, and loathes termites. She has a habit of taking her hair down three times a day and then putting it back up again, so she can practice her hairdressing skills. Magical Skills: Doa cannot feel the pain of death and, after dieing, is guaranteed rebirth within twenty years. She is immune to most magical attacks or defenses. She can talk to buildings of all kinds, and is especially fond of hotels and restaurants, who tell some very amusing stories of the people who frequent them.
