Ah... light. Joy. Happiness. All these mean me. These mean Cimorenea. Light is my name. I love all. I have a sense of longing to bring good things and happiness to all. With my powers, I can bring a hating man to love, and bring a sorrowful one to the light. I Am love and life, the two strongest things in the human and neo race.

I stand for all things good, and my footsteps blossom with new life, and green plants. My touch is soothing, and my voice a song itself. I may be different from most, but I try to make up for it with everything one might never have had- a hug, someone to wave to them every morning, or even just someone to talk to. It's what I do, and will most likely continue doing for some time now.

Beautiful, like the rising sun...

Light... a Story

It had been a wonderful day; warm and beautiful. The birds had been out, casting forth their melodic music from their tiny beaks, and then gathering ever so suddenly to take to the sky, and begin their song (or finish it) elsewhere. The sun had been warm; it cast its rays of golden light upon the African earth, dancing upon the wings of the birds, as if some sort of African dancer. The real dancers, however, were closer to the earth; stamping their feet to the beat of the drum, the women twirling around every which way, sending their skirts swirling and cascading about their ankles. The men beat the drums, nodding with every beat, occasionally pausing to wipe a bit of sweat from their eyes.

It was a celebration, for two months ago to this day, Cimorenea M'Alwik had been born to the lupe Abayomi M'Alwik. The mother had died in the process of giving birth, for she had been ridden with disease. The mother had contracted the AIDs disease, and was slowly dying. Shortly after, she had been impregnated with Cimorenea. Following that, she had come down with a wretched case of Pneumonia. AIDs simply made it worse. Where someone living in the northern part of the world might have survived, her in Africa, there was little hope.

But when the daughter, Cimorenea had been born, there was hope again. She didn't have Human Immunodeficiency Virus, passed down from her mother, and though that itself was a blessing, the occurance of contracting AIDs from the mother was more likely when the child was being fed. Cimorenea had no mother any longer, and thus, she was relatively safe from the disease.

But her mother's sickness had hurt her; she had been born smaller then what she should have been, and her one brother and sister who would have been her littermates did not survive. Though Cimorenea did not know it yet, this was one of the reasons she had been blessed with the powers of light and good.

And here were the villagers; neopets, and humans alike chattering among themselves, and having a relatively good time. The humans were dancing about the fire, and the dancing would go on until sunrise the next day. The dancers paused, the dance ceasing slowly, and the music quietly ebbing away. Now was the time to feast.

Cimorenea felt her body being lifted up by two strong human hands. The man with the funny eye, as she had come to call him, was the one who had been taking care of her for the past two months. She tilted her head, looking up at the man, giving him a big puppyish smile. He whispered something in her ear, but she understood little of it. The roar of chatter and the clatter of food hitting bowls drowned out his words. Instead, Cim nodded once more, and turned to the table she was sitting at. A grand feast had been laid out for her; a tablecloth had been made with injera, a delicious bread pancake sort of mixture she adored. There was some iab, a tasty cottage cheese yogourt mix, and even doro wat. Cim didn't quite like the chicken stew and hard boiled eggs, but she would eat a bit of it to perhaps humor her friend who made it. There were other foods like daba kolo, vegetabe alecha, and some tej for the older people to drink. Cimorenea couldn't have a taste of the tej, however, as it happened to be honey wine, and two month old lupes really shouldn't be drinking that sort of thing.

A shout was heard from one end of the table, and a loud shout was heard from the other end. Everyone seated quickly stood up, raising their classes of tej or water in the process, with another loud shout. This time, it was a unified shout, one that everyone said. "Cimorenea!" they called, and then sat down once more to eat and converse as they'd been doing moments ago.

Three years since that day had passed, and Cimorenea and the people in her village lived peacefully. They had little food, and rarely had enough to eat, but many of them were happy. To be alive, to have one another. Some children had died since that day, and the man with the funny eye had passed away as well. He had been forty seven after all.

Cimorenea smiled at the young boy who was seated before her. Now, she was known more as the village healer, remidist, and therapist. She was willing to listen to anyone's worries, and she had a knack for making others feel well, whether it be physically or mentally. The boy was talking about the bits of grain he had stolen from his neighbor, and now he was feeling guilty because he was worried they might be needing it. Cimorenea smiled softly, murmuring kind words to the boy, trying to console him as best she could. She was about to suggest he confess to his neighbors when a great racket was heard coming from outside. Cimorenea excused herself, and peeked out of the mud hut she had been conferencing with the boy in.

A growl was heard, and she noticed a rather large lupe making its way towards her. It had a black pelt, which was decorated with blood red tatoos. He had broad, red and black wings, which he had stretched out, so they were now extremely wide. They were more then twice his body's length. A small scar could be seen, carved deep into the flesh in his back, and a skull and cross bones tatoo was visible on both his shoulders.

Cimorenea M'Alwik," the lupe said, coming closer to Cim.

Yes?" Cim asked, trying to hold her ground, but shivered under his gaze.

I am Kraigiss M'Alwik. Your brother," he sneered, leaning down to Cim. "Aren't you going to say hello?"

Family
Kraigiss. My older brother. He is known as the undead wolf. The bringer, or bearer of death. He is the only existing person I know that I am unable to use my powers on; he exists in a world outside of my own, for he is too far gone to be helped. He is of the opposite as me. He, born bathed in blood. I, bathed in a warm glow. Us? We are twins. Born at the exact time. Both, born with curses. Both, born with a purpose. So alike, yet so different...

Friends
Caluiea is such a nice one to talk to. He's calm and quiet, and can listen to any ramble on for hours on end. He has a big, kind heart and is a wonderful lupe to talk to. Sometimes he lacks the self confidence I know he has, but we all have our downfalls. He is a wonderful friend, and I'm honoured to know him.

Tonaie is a wonderfully cheerful young lupe, if a bit naiive at times. He's a joy to be around, and I always enjoy the time I spend with him. He's a bit jittery sometimes, as if he were afraid of his own shadow. I've yet to find the cause for this, and in the meantime all I can do is try to help, and console him if it's possible. Often I find it does help, but I do worry about him.

Stiv is certainly in interesting fellow. He's extremely laid back, and has a careless attitude, in which he believes everything will work out in the end. And as his luck has it, it often does. His easy going attitude makes it extremely easy to like him, especially enjoy the time spent with him.

I love

My Adoptables
Awwright. I know it says happehchan in the corner- but thats my main account. These were originally going to go on Absentis' petpage, but I decided I already had like four lupe adoptable sets on that account. And since I drew them as adoptables for Cimorenea's page, why not put them here? ;D

I only do customs.
