"Of course we're quite the pair," Alice said. "All of those other pathetic excuses of trainers that are hanging around this island can't even begin to try to compete with either of us."
Embyr sat down on her haunches next to the Rocket girl's left side and began to nudge at her arm. Alice raised it to stroke her Pokemon's soft, furry head.
"Well, I appreciate the consideration, Brodi dear," Alice said. She took a few steps towards the tree that Brodi was leaning against, and leaned up right alongside him, their sides touching. She could feel the heat radiating from his skin and smell the aroma of an enticing cologne combined with a little sweat. So s xy.
"Ok," she proceeded, "so this is what you've been missing, dear, while you've been running around with those exotic dancers of yours..."
Alice recounted the whole story of how she abducted a young village aristocrat's Feebas and used it to pry information about Lugia's whereabouts from the villagers. All that she learned so far was of an ancient temple on the northern part of the island that dated back thousands of years. She told Brodi the whole story, while he listened eagerly.
"And... that girl that I just told you was helping this Niko kid out?", Alice paused for a moment, pondering how to phrase this last part. "I never told you. But I had a younger sister... And she's here."
