Welcome to Paradise
You had been planning a vacation for several years, and today was that day your plan would go into action. You would finally go to Mystery Island! As you are packing, you notice you're running a little late on time. You grab all your important items, and the ticket, and shove off to the docks.As the boat arrives, you notice it looks nothing like the famous "Avast!" from the brochure. *Maybe it was remodeled... that had to be it! Of course!* you ponder to yourself. You board the ship, and take off... for Mystery Island!
Oh... oh my... how'd you get here?" a small voice questions. You open your eyes and notice the area. A calm ocean shore, with a few trees surrounding the area. What had happened to the ship? What exactly /was/ this place? "Oh! They're awake now!" the small voice utters another sentence. You turn around and notice a small tan kacheek with short brown hair next to you. On her head resides some sort of flower, a marigold perhaps?
Hi! I'm Chriysanthimum! What's your name, visitor?" She asks with a cheeky smile on her face. You smile back, and reply,"My name is guest. Where exactly am I? One minute I was on the 'Avast!', next thing I know I'm on some island...
Oh! You're on my island, Chriysanthimum Isle! Don't worry though, we're not that far away from Mystery Island.
You sigh a sigh of relief, for a moment there you thought you were lost. "Is it possible you can take me to Mystery Island now?" you ask. The Kacheek looks down at the sand, and speaks in a low voice that's hard to hear. "Uhm... not right now... I don't have anything to take you in...
Your jaw drops, and you clench your hands in fists. All the planning, the saving of money, looking for money in that dirty sofa of yours, all for naught."I...I'm really sorry guest." she speaks once again in an apologetic tone. "I'll tell you a little bit more about myself to pass the time if you want.
What do you have to lose? You're stuck here, you may as well try to enjoy it and have fun.
Chriysanthimum, the Island Princess
She clears her throat, and begins to speak."As I've already told you, my name is Chriysanthimum. I am 16-years-old, and have been living on this island for 10 years. In my spare time I like to collect the flowers on the island and try them out in my hair. I like to see which one suits me best. So far, I've discovered that I really like the Chrysanthemum flower that grows around the cove the most. According to a legend the pet pets around this island have, I'm... a princess. I look just like the kacheek in the legend, and supposedly act like her too. Every now and again people wash up on the shore, saying that they were taking a trip to Mystery Island or Lutari Island, and ended up here on my island. It's a strange phenomenon indeed, and how or why it happens I don't exactly know. I think it's tied to the legend, and every time I feel lonely someone is sent here. I guess this time it was you. Though, you won't be stranded here forever. I'll get someone to take you home, I promise. Just... stay. For a little while? I only get lonely every now and again, and no one ever really comes of their own free will... I mean the island's pet pets are fun, but every now and again I want someone to talk with, and someone who will communicate back. Eldin doesn't know how to speak in english, but he is my best friend.Eldin? Who is Eldin?" you question.
Eldin the Delfin
Eldin is my pet pet!" she exclaims. "He's my delfin, and because of him I'm able to take people back to Mystery Island. I myself won't go because... I'm afraid of the ocean." She begins to shiver. "Eldin is pretty big and fast, if you want I'll take you to him. He lives in the water. Everynow and again when I want to visit the cove of the island he'll give me a ride. I'm not afraid to go into the water, I'm just afraid of going deep into the blue of the ocean.You're araid of traveling in the ocean?" you question. "Why?
Lost at Sea
It all started long ago when my family and I went on a trip to Mystery Island. I was only 5 years old, about to be 6. It was on my birthday when it happened...For my birthday, my parents decided to take me on a cruise on a fancy yacht that belonged to my uncle. I don't remember his name... it was so long ago. The name of the yacht, however; was the Chriysanthimum. My uncle had named it after me, and was planning on giving it to me as a gift when I had become old enough and responsible to own it. We all got on the boat, and then shoved off.
