On the eighth day of Premium Christmas the users gave to us...


A day of delicious recipes by Chiara!



SPAGHETTI IN AMATARICIANA SAUCE (8 people)

1 kilo spaghetti
1 kilo tomatoes
100 gram grated cheese
100 gram bacon onion_
5 litre water
1 tablespoon butter salt and pepper

Boil some water in a pot and put tomatoes in it for some minutes.

- Strain them and remove their skin.

- Cut tomatoes into two halves and remove their seeds.

- Mince onion_ cut bacon into 1 cm. cubes.

- Heat butter in a small pot and then add both onion and bacon.

- Brown them a bit and then add the tomatoes.

- Cook the sauce at quite a high temperature for 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper to the sauce.

- Put the water in a large pot on the stove and, when it comes to boil, add salt (around 2 tablespoons). Then add spaghetti and boil it for 8-10 minutes.

- Drain the spaghetti and put it in a toureen.

- Pour the tomato sauce on the spaghetti and mix everything carefully.

- Add the grated cheese, continuing mixing and serve.



PASTA IN SALMON SAUCE (8 people)

1 kilo short pasta (like penne or farfalle)
500 gram smoked salmon
200 gram cream (I suggest double cream, because is thicker than single cream)
250 gram frozen mushrooms in cubes (edible boletus, if possible) leek or onion_
5 litre water
1 tablespoon butter salt and pepper chive

- Mince leek or onion_ cut smoked salmon into 2 cm. cubes.

- Put the water in a large pot on the stove and, when it comes to boil, add salt (around 2 tablespoons). Then add the pasta and boil it for 12-15 minutes.

- In the meantime heat butter in a small pot and then add leek/onion.

- Brown leek/onion and add mushrooms and smoked salmon.

- Cook the sauce at low temperature for around 10 minutes. Add cream, salt, chive and pepper to the sauce and mix everything carefully.

- Drain the pasta and put it in a toureen.

- Pour the salmon and mushrooms sauce on the pasta, mix everything carefully and serve.

A delicious easy recipe by Drea!


Yeast Rolls (Super easy, fast and oh so tasty!)

1/2 cup butter
2 packages yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups warm water
2 eggs
aprox. 7 cups flour

Dissolve yeast in the 2 cups of warm water, in mixing bowl. Add eggs and softened butter. Mix well. Add salt, sugar and flour.

Kneed and put into roll shapes. Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray and set rolls, allow to rise until size of rolls has doubled.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

Cream Cheese Cake Mix Cookies

1 box cake mix any flavor
1 large egg
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c butter
1 cup any add ins (chips, candy, nuts, etc) I used mini M&M's

1. Preheat oven 375

2. Cream together butter cream cheese. Add egg and vanilla and mix until well blended (a mixer for this part only)

3. Stir in cake mix a little at a time until it's all blended and then add any of the add ins

4. Bake for 10 mins, until edges are brown.

ENJOY! These are really good.

You never know during the holidays when unexpected company will just show up... These Quick and Easy Appetizers are great to have as a backup in the freezer.

1 Pkg. English Muffins
3 tablespoons Mayo
1/2 teaspoon Garlic
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Soft Margerine
1 tablespoon Horseradish (optional)
1 cup Shredded Cheese
2 Green Onion_ diced)
1 pkg. Imatation Crab Meat (fine shreaded)

Slice English Muffins in half... spread slices on a cookie tray. Mix all the other ingreadients together spread evenly over halfed English muffins. Place tray in freezer for 10-15 min Take out and cut 1/4's. These can be packaged up in baggies and kept in freezer. Take out as needed, and pop in 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
