Stuff Ichigo Says o_O
Ever wonder how Ichigo makes a 300 character reply to a help question in under 30 seconds? She cheats. Yep. She has stuff already written in a notepad document to use. I'm going to put this all here as both a FAQ and a resource for Help Chat regulars. All replies, unless otherwise indicated, will fit into a standard 400 character post and meet all regulations. Additionally, all included URLs are written in such a way that they will not interfere with your neoHTML.
Q: How do you get a Limited Edition pet?
The only ways to guarentee an LE pet are:
-Morphing Potion
-Transmogrification Potion
-Magical Plushie
-Create from a limited release
-Adoption
-Species-specific methods for draik and krawk
Limited editions are only able to be adopted by accounts older than 4 months.
You can also obtain a Limited or Restricted pet with the Secret Laboratory Map, but the results are random.
Q: When will ________ be released?
No one knows if they will actually be released at all. We all know what happened with NeoSchool.
Q: How do you use the Rainbow Fountain/When does the Rainbow Fountain work?
You need to complete a FOUNTAIN FAERIE QUEST, which are handed out randomly, and are usualy quite expensive.
Once you complete the quest, you will be allowed to paint one of your pets any color at the Rainbow Fountain, with the exceptions of Robot, Royal, and Malevolent Sentinent Plushie.
Q: How do you attatch a petpetpet?

Steps to attatch a petpetpet
-Make sure the petpet you want to attatch the petpetet to is attatched to your active pet.
-Fill your inventory with 49 junk items to minimize the likelyhood of your petpetpet being stolen by a random event.
-Put the petpetpet in your inventory with the other 49 items.

-Refresh your inventory until the petpetpet dissappears. This step can take anywhere from a few minutes to hours to days.
-Check your active pet to see if the petpetpet has attatched.
REMEMBER - If you remove the petpet that the petpetpet is attatched to, the petpetpet will dissappear forever.
Q: What colors can be adopted by accounts under four months?
Checkered, blue, brown, glowing, green, invisible, orange, pink, purple, red, shadow, silver, skunk, speckled, split, white, yellow.
Q: What colors can't you get from the lab ray?
Royal, plushie, pirate, baby, usuki, and quiguki.

People guess people's PWs all the time. It's called actually "cracking," though most people know it as hacking.
The best thing you can do is to make a secure PW, and make sure you change it often. It's a good idea to never use the same PW for more than one account.
I'll list some things you can do to secure a PW in my next post.

-Have at least one NON-DICTIONARY word included in the PW. This is crucial, as it minimizes the risk of a PW being guessed. It's good to make sure that itis at least SEVEN letters long.
-Include at least TWO strains of numbers, each of at least FIVE digits. It's helpful to use the barode of an item you can leave on the desk for these. Student ID numbers and library card numbers are also good.

Q: Can I let my siblings/friends under 13 play on my account?
No. You cannot let ANY other player use your account for any reason.
Just as a word of advice to anyone considering letting a younger player use their account, COPPA, or the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, all children under 13 MUST have parental consent in order to divulge personal information online___________________. This is an official action of the Federal Trade Commission. You can read about it in the Neopets FAQ or at the FTC website.
Q: My pet is sick!/Can anyone give me (healing item)?/Is anyone selling (healing item)?
Go to the HEALING SPRINGS in Faerieland once every 30 minutes until they're healed. It may take a few tries (sometimes even days), but it will work eventually. It's absolutely FREE.
Q: How do you use the petpet lab ray?/What do I do with the petpet lab maps?
You need to have the entire Secret Laboratory Map (9 pieces), which sells for around 500k, as well as the entire Petpet Laboratory Map (9 pieces, 12k). Once you have those the Petpet option should appear on the Treasure Maps menu.

Q: How can I change my pet's gender?
You can with the lab ray, which is unpredictable and reqires a set of 9 items totalling around 500k.
You can also use an item called Strange Potion, which is several million neopoints.
Another item, called Cape of the Sun (25k) is said to change your pet's gender as well.

Q: I adopted this pet; who abandoned it?
There is no way to know who the owner was. People will probably neomail you claiming to be the owner, but there is no way to prove it. Screenshots can be faked. Even if you do manage to find the real owner, they knew the risks of pounding.
