welcome to dewy fosters! this is a place where pets who have been rescued from the pound
can have a brand new start in the neopian universe with a brand new home with you.

my name is azmirah_lerouge, but you can call me mirah :)
i am a member of the neopian orphanage, a guild dedicated to
saving pets from an eternity of sadness in the pound.

above all else remember, these, and all pets are valuable.
therefore, only serious offers of adoption will be considered,
and these pets will never be up for trade.

to clarify

i'm so glad that you have decided to love a pounded pet today! but before i send you off
with a new friend, we have to set down a few rules, and then i'll
outline the application process. sound good? good. :)

• please send all spell checked and chatspeak free communication to azmirah_lerouge.
• please do not adopt a pet from me if you intend to trade the pet later on.
• there is no guarantee that you will get the pet you apply for.
• i will not accept np for any pet, nor will any dewy fosters be traded.
• please note that i do not favor or request a petpage application
  over a neomailed application, or vice versa.

the pledge of good ownership:

If I am chosen, I, (your name) , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my
new Neopet, (pet's name) . I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been
through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be
a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her
through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

application elements

in your application, please include the following!

• why do you want this pet? explain it to me.
• tell me about your other pets or past pets.
• tell me about your time on neopets: contests, games, guilds?
• use the word ocelot, so i know you read the rules :).
• do you ever intend to trade/disown/otherwise get rid of this pet?
• if you can't or don't want to care for this pet any more, what will you do?

if you've got all of that information ready for me, you can either send it to me through neomail,
or create a petpage with this information available. i'm happy with either option.

all valid applications will be seriously considered, as will the applicants who wrote them.
