Story

Outside Neopia's reach, even out and beyond its moon, there is a place full of gods and goddesses. They're higher than the elementals and shadows, and higher than the faeries themselves. They have divine powers and are rulers of different things.

One such goddess is Luna, who is the Neopian goddess of the moon, daughter of the celestial skies. She would look upon Neopia, and watch as day to day, the Neopets and their owners would happily enjoy the lives given to them by the gods and goddesses.

She was a rebellious goddess. She believed she couldn't be restrained, and was tired of the boring life of a goddess. But the gods and goddesses were not allowed to descend upon the mortal world of Neopia. That's why they had the faeries, so they could take care of Neopian matters. They existed purely for the sake of existence of Neopia, where if they so chose, they could destroy it.

Luna pleaded to the 'Zeus' of their gods, Neo, to allow her to leave the realm of the gods and goddesses so she could live on Neopia as a mortal. She had dreamed of being a mortal Neopian, living as they do, seeing what they see, feeling what they feel. The role of goddess was so monotonous. Luna didn't want to give up her place as the goddess of the moon, but she wanted to have a choice to live as a mortal and still be able to come back to the realm. She wished to live as an Aisha, her favorite of the gods' and goddesses' creations. Neo thought about her request, but denied it. Only when Luna threatened to destroy Neopia with her moon did Neo grant her wish. Luna gets what she wants, and she'll do whatever necessary to achieve it. Not to say Luna is selfish, but this was something she's wanted for a very long time.

When Luna did descend upon Neopia, she took the form of an auburn Aisha, with white inside her ears and white dipped paws. She loved gold, and she adorned herself with a gold collar, with a crescent moon hanging from it. She adorned her new tail with a gold band, and gold crescent moon earrings for her ears. Floating atop all her ears appeared gold crescent moons. Around her two different color eyes, were white spots.

She is the only high being to have two different colored eyes, green and blue, and it's not a good physical quality to have, for this shows a quality of being two-faced. In her new form, the feeling of walking on all fours was a new feeling. She walked into Neopian Central, and was astonished at the sight. But then, she got a little ill-tempered, for everyone walked past her, not acknowledging her existence.

I am the goddess of the moon! Does no one here know that?!" She stomped her front paw into the ground. Still, everyone walked past her. She then realized, to her ignorance, no one has ever seen a Neopian goddess before, at least, in their original forms. She was in the form of an Aisha, and only pictures from old legends exist, so of course no one would know who she was! Luna, embarrassed at herself for her outburst, continued to walk through Central. As she was walking, something caught her eye. Anthropomorphic Neopets.

Luna did not know the Neopets had this ability to take on a human-like form. Luna then sought out to take on an anthropomorphic form of her own. She required a body of beauty and elegance, and wanted it to take after her original goddess form. So, there comes the blonde hair and curvy physique that is Luna, taking on the appearance of a 19 or 20 year old. Her choice of dress was a purple corset dress that was kind of gothic L0lita style. Even though she wanted to be the epitome of beauty, she still didn't want to be too flashy. Luna, pleased with her even newer appearance, continued to stroll down the streets of Central.

A crowd had gathered near a building that was labeled "Neopets Beauty Contest" and Luna's jaw dropped. She fought her way inside and there before her appeared a big, beautiful runway. She watched as contestants walked down the catwalk and turn, and walk back. Apparently, it was the last day of the contest, and people were rushing in to vote for their favorite.

A big toothy smile then spread upon Luna's feline face. She found a new dream to accomplish. Become a fashion model, not just for the Beauty Contest, but for Neopia's entire fashion world for the hottest clothing lines that existed within the walls of the world. She watched as different Neopets, quadruped and anthropomorphic alike, walked through for all of the people there who would judge and vote. She saw among them wild fashions and this put Luna in a childlike state of amazement. As each category of Neopets ended, Luna got some paper and wrote down the names of her favorites so she too could cast her votes. When it finally ended, she delivered her votes, and stayed for the results.

After that, Luna walked out and went looking at some of the shops and boutiques that were in Central. She smiled at all of the high-end fashions that were out and about in Neopia. She then ventured out into the lesser districts of Neopia Central, and began to see the other side of Neopia. They still had good things, but it was quite a contrast from the middle of Central, where heavy-pocketed Neopets bought expensive items. Luna took in enjoyment of seeing things here as well, and she liked it just as much.

As she continued to stroll, she took notice of young Neopets, playing Darigan War or dress up. She was quite amused and even wished to join into the play. Only until a youngster Wocky came up and tugged on her dress did she finally join in. The Wocky was a little boy, and it was apparent to Luna that he had quite the puppy-love crush on her, for he handed her a flower. Luna smelled it and smiled.

Will you play with me?" he asked, pointing to a swing, and his friends.

Luna smiled and laughed, melodious and elegant. "Of course!

The group of kids ranged from different ages. The Wocky wanted Luna to push him on the swing, and the other boys started to innocently flirt with her, making the little girl Neopets jealous. Although, the girls did seem to admire Luna's dress and gold. The group started to fight over her, and it was then Luna decided to leave them to their toys.

It was nice of you to let me play with you, but I must go now. Goodbye!" The group moaned and groaned, but as Luna was just out of earshot, they started to giggle as they continued their play.

The sun started to set, bringing forth Luna's moon and the shades of night. Luna found a quiet park and sat on a bench, watching as her pride and joy took its place in the starry sky. This was Luna's first time seeing her moon as the Neopians do every night. Luna was content. She knew she was going to like it here.

Accessories: She has four ponytails, and has blue hairclips on them that have a gold star on them. Around her neck, she wears a gold collar with a crescent moon hanging off of it. She has gold crescent moons floating off the tips of ALL her ears. She also has gold earrings on her two small ears that are crescent moons. She has a gold band around her tail. The dress she is dressed in in her picture below is her main dress, but she'll wear basically any kind of eccentric dress you can think of.
