Preview for upcoming (new) design and (new) plot line between Ceisora and Thomas, his petpet.

Quick summary of the new design: Ceisora and Thomas live in a castle underneath the sea, and they have legs. However, they are underwater and if they leave the divinity of the castle, their legs turn into fins, much like a normal fish (mermaid/merman). Ceisora's father is an overbearing king who wants Ceisora to succeed the throne, for he is his only son. Ceisora is not interested in it and would rather go to the land but is appointed general in the wars that have been ravaging the three kingdoms of neopia: sky vs. earth vs. sea. For now, Ceisora has not escaped the waters. Thomas is Ceisora's right hand and servant.

Scene: Inside the ballroom in the castle. Ceisora sits on the windowsill, looking out into the ocean. Thomas stands near.

Ceisora: Thomas, why is it that we cannot leave the sea, although we have both perfectly good pair of legs?

Thomas: That is because our legs turn into tails when we leave the castle, my dear general.

Ceisora: And why is that?

Thomas [exasperated]: General, I do not wish to partake in this conversation again.
Come general, the king wishes to see you immediately.

Ceisora [angered]: Are you not my servant?
Am I not your master?
Now, I command it.
Speak – Thomas, speak. You tell the best stories.

Thomas: Although you command it for me to do so, I do not wish it.
Very well then, for you are my master and I am but a lowly servant, I shall tell.
The story goes like thus:

Years ago, a mermaid and a man had fallen in love. Many nights and many days, they had met on the edges of the shores, finally, they had decided to get married underneath the moon. The lack of understanding arose b'twist them, for the mermaid had wished to get married in the sea, and the man on land. After discussing the situation with her family, they had given her a potion that would allow the man to breathe under water.

And so, the mermaid and the man went deep in the sea, in the mermaid's castle. Lo behold, as they approached, the mermaid realized the man had died. Her father had tricked her. Her family had tricked her. With a broken heart, she had waged a civil war and thus, the man became the king. The mermaid had made the castle so that there is enough magic to give mermaids and merman legs so that they would at least feel human, like what the mermaid had wished. But if they go out underneath the protection of the king, tails will appear to distinguish the creatures belonging to the land or the sea. The bitterness of the separation still is apparent today…

Ceisora [clapping]: I like this tale much more than yesterday's tale, dear Thomas!

Thomas: Yesterday's and today's are very much the same.

Ceisora: But you had told it with weariness, it was very suiting to the story.

Thomas: Nevertheless sir, I do beseech you – the king lays in wait for your presence to-night.

Ceisora [leaves with Thomas for the king]: Tell me Thomas. Why is it that the skeleton of the land dwellers are so much similar to ours?
Do we not have the same eyes, the bone structure and feelings?
I wonder why…why is it that land dwellers, the sea swimmers and the sky inhabitants are constantly at war?
As you know Thomas, I've killed both sky and land in my life time, for I am the general of the sea but I cannot help but notice that we are both the same.
But oh the greed and jealousy that overwrought all!
All three wish:
."I wish I could fly.
."I wish I could swim.".
."I wish I could walk upon the lands.
I wish, I wish, what foolish beings!
But how we are compelled to attack one another rather than understand each other!
The sky stones us, and the land harpoons us, and we create hurricanes and tsunamis upon their awake.
But oh the irony Thomas,
For I want the same.

But we do have adoptables!
