Wait up!" Casey called as he raced after the green xweetok streaking ahead of him his long wavy red fur flowing on his back. The xweetok ahead of him turned "Come on slowpoke" she smiled and took off running again. Casey stopped running. and tried to catch his breath. How did Gato get all this energy? He pulled his front paw back getting ready to run again when quite suddendly he heard a loud crash and Gato scream. He ran hard this time ignoring his lack of breath and sore paws "Gato!" he cried out as he reached the destruction "GAAATOOO!" he called again as he sifted through the rubble of the other part of the building they had been in, which had collapsed on itself. he felt hot tears roll down his face "Gato!" he cried again until he saw her dark green scarf under some concrete from the wall.. it was stuck under the wall "Gato.." he said again.. his siter couldnt have survived being crushed by the wall. he sat down as the realization hit him.. his sister was dead... she was dead. He carefully pulled the scarf out from the stone but the end ripped off, still under it tears fell again he tried to whipe it own as the police and firefighters and ambulences showed up... everything seemed to go in slow motion asthe nurces came running up to him with their little bags and the police asking questions he replied.. sounding like a robot.... very uite and suttle silent tears still stream down his face.. they asked about the scarf and he had said about the wall and his sister.. the Police replied and said "If her body wasnt burned wit hthe fire then we will let you know.. the officer was cold and heartless.. casey could have sworn that she heard a muffled gasp of anger come from one of the nerces who were checking him over. "What cause the factory's right wing to collapse?" he managed to rasp out an tall Aisha officer who wasnt as cold told him that a fire had broke out in the bathroom on the second floor.. the build was old and the concrete wall was just a new construction addition... they were still redoing everything so the floors nd lots of the supports were still wodden and te fire burned them down.
Gato nodded and whiped his tears he was hurt inside he felt like his heart had burned instead of the building his sister was dead.. and he didnt know what his parents would think they were off on a cruise near lutari island while he and gato were being "baby-sat" by th owner of this factory just on the border of haunted woods and lost desert.
The police drove casey to the factory owner, a Ogrin named Peri , house were his son a cloud ogrin named Krat was, though Peri was at the scene of the fire. Krat asked questions about gato over and over but Casey responded with nothing more then grunts and tail flicks.
Krat was starting to get a alittle worried
Is she ok?!?!" he cried out
Finally casey spun around and screamed "NOO! GTO ISNT OK! NOT AT ALL! IN FACT IF YOU waNT TO SEE HER ITS IMPOSSIBLY BECAUSE EVEN HER BODY IS GONE!" krat gaspped and stepped back as casey ran to his room...he.. knew what he said to krat wasnt true.. hehe maybe she just slipped out of the building right before it collapsed and he scarf had slipped off? he realized then that he had to find her! yes that was it! he had to fine her!

he quickly packed bags and slipped out the window from his first floor room and ran out towards Haunted woods.....(to be continued) :o
