A lupe sat on a chair in the café. Reading a book with great interest, his golden eyes gazing at each page. The lupe was white, a stripe under his left eye, a symbol on his left shoulder and a pair of large feathery wings, all of which were crimson. Around his left ankle was a crimson band, although it was unseen. He wore a simple purple shirt with a single music note on the chest, a pair of black trousers and white and red trainers.

He sipped his Orange and Mango Coffee as he held his book in his other hand, he put it back down on the glass table and read more. He placed a bookmark down when he'd finished his chapter, it had 'Caronius' written at the top, it was his name after all. The lupe sat back, he relaxed in his chair as he listened to the soft sounds of poetry and music.

The rain poured down outside. Caronius stared out the window to find many pets with hoods up, jackets on, umbrellas opened, keeping themselves as dry as possible on that miserable autumn's day. Any other day he'd love to be outside, it was his favourite weather and season, but for some strange reason he wanted to curl up with a good book and a hot drink. Caronius yawned sleepily and dozed off in his chair. His book on his lap, his coffee on the table.

He had only slept for a short while. He had been woken up by the ring of the bell above the door, chiming happily in greeting when someone entered the shop, and dinging in sorrow when someone left. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and reached for his coffee, only to freeze as he held it, seeing there was none left in the cup. He reached for his wallet and emptied out a few thousand neopoints, then he walked over to the counter where a blue Kyrii stood wearing a red waistcoat and a white t-shirt, a pair of black trousers and shiny black shoes. He stood there cleaning cups and saucers.

He inhaled the smell of coffee beans. "Another Orange and Mango coffee please." He asked as he placed the neopoints on the counter and sat on one of the high metal stools. Perching himself on the black cushion.

The Kyrii looked at him. "Right away." Answered the Kyrii as he put down a cup and flicked the coffee's switch. He placed it on the counter, took the neopoints and then pushed it towards Caronius. "There you go." He told him as he went back to cleaning.

Caronius sat back down at the table, he had no worries about anyone taking his seat, barely anyone had still come in and he hadn't heard the bell ringing cheerfully. He sat down and sipped the fruity flavoured liquid, picked up his book and continued reading as he had before he had dozed off peacefully.
