Demolition✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

It happens so slowly.
So slowly, that it's nearly impossible to notice.
Billions and billions of years; it is a timeline only few things can witness, until it all goes dark. Until a new light is released.

So is the life cycle of the "creators"; a species of entity that are known elsewhere for their unique survival tactics-- building solar systems.
How are they able to do this, you ask?
It would be very simple for us to digest it if, unfortunately, our own logic(s) matched theirs. For us, as we are part of the "created", the creation process is unimaginably out of reach of our understanding. For this reason, we had grown puzzled over it. We have been led to wonder, and to theorize. Others have simply lost their battle with curiosity, and have stopped thinking of creation alltogether.
But such a thing mustn't be forgotten.

Speculation; an introduction✧✧✧✧

The "creators" are animals of sorts, much like ourselves, who-- much like the animals in our own world-- have predators and resort to instinctive and pre-meditated mannerisms in order to survive.
Unlike most of our animal kingdom, however, the creators are only given the equivalence of a day to live.

In this single day, a creator must take in the world around them and, with the help of instinctive knowledge, invent a planetary solar system which would act as a life support and nomadic shelter. If the system is dysfunctional, it won't be beneficial to the creator. But if, in fact, the system is successful, the creator can live past billions of years.
This is why they are so widely known.

How does it act as a life support, you ask?
Well, by a little force we humans have come to call gravity.

To us, gravity has always been envisioned as the natural force that attracts objects toward the center of a celestial body. But to the creators, this natural force has a much greater purpose. Gravitational pull is actually energy drainage in-process. In our understandings, we have mistaken energy for weight and mass.

Once the system has been created, a creator's life is fully dependent on the functions of the solar system and its natural evolution cycles.
During the first stages of most creator system cycles, an array of gases are introduced to revolving 'globes' (planets). These gases fester for the time-being, while the creator is sustained by the gravitational force pulling the globes together (normally, towards a central body).

Eventually, the gases and elements combine to make the first signs of life, and from then on, the planetary life cycle begins.
Evolution occurs, millions of times over, creating more advanced and larger creatures. A globe's life is at its peak when its dominant species is at its largest size and population. From there, evolution would normally decrease into smaller life forms/dominant species, and the creator would, in turn, be able to absorb less and less energy. In time, the planet will remain, but all life would become extinct. The process would then begin again in the next planet, and the cycles will continue until all planets have been occupied and the creator would be left with no energy to sustain itself. The life support would be cut, and the solar system, along with the creator, would perish.

Each creator's solar system functions and is arranged differently from the last. There have been cases of systems containing only one planet, and others containing dozens. Some solar systems would contain life in one or two planets at a time, while others were said to be occupied all at once. There have also been cases were evolution spiked and deferred the natural life cycle of a planet.
With systems, there is really no option for control; the creators, and the created, are simply left to chance.
The overall goal of a creator would be to invent a system with as many planets as possible, and have each planet occupied one at a time. This would ultimately provide the creator with the longest life-span.
Lastly, a community of creators (and their solar systems) is called a universe.

The Creator✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

Given Name: Caapa
Gender: androgynous male
Age: Several billion years
Home: He had chosen to abandon his natural world, and currently spends his years in his solar system.
Appearance: Lucky and blessed are those who are graced with a creator's presence.
At best, one can only hope to see Caapa dancing around the skies at night-- when his coat shines brightest-- in the form of what may look like a shooting star. Only few have seen him in person, for he rarely decides to make a public appearance.
But those that have would tell you he's quite beautiful. A spectacle; the brightest you'd ever set your eyes on.
Caapa has the build of a four-legged animal, with eyes as piercing as his sheen. His coat, although soft like our own skin, is harder than any compound known to us; and shimmers with any given light.
Two sets of ears adorn his cat-like head, one of which extends far past his face, until the golden skin turns to bulbs of glowing light.
Caapa seems to filter through the void of space with ease, oftentimes using his head to steer at light-speed-- as if a set of invisible wings were propelling him-- or wading through, using a swimming motion with his rabbit-like paws.

Personality: Quiet. Inquisitive. Observant.
Caapa is a peaceful creature; with a lifestyle to match. He's a spectator, who spends his years drifting through his mobile shelter (his creation); which he lately has come to call his home. Although this behavior is uncommon of his species, Caapa doesn't think much on others' remarks, and feels perfectly comfortable in the system he built for himself.
With that, he is also a very quiet creature. One reason for this being; there aren't many beings for him to converse with.
On occasion, Caapa would make an appearance at an active planet. And, less times than most, he would find others to interact with. On such instances, he would offer knowledge into his world; giving his encounters a window into creation. On separate occasions, Caapa would act oblivious-- pretending to be a humble creature seeking to learn the planet's wonders.
Caapa is a brilliant mind, and has still conserved his language throughout his many years of solitude. His language, that of the creators, is unique in its way and is believed to be the ancestor of all tongues. It is said that when he speaks, it is unlike any beautiful music you've ever heard.
Hobbies: Caapa collects globes at the Trove.

Likes: long periods of solitude, passive studying (mostly of how nature unfolds)
Dislikes: very few things..

Caapa; the Story✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

A masterpiece can take ages to complete. Weeks. Months. Years.
But for Caapa, it took an entire lifetime. Only.. his lifetime was the length of a day.
But whether it's day or lifetime, a masterpiece is brought together through concentration.

Encounters With Caapa

Pt.1. Observation, the first few hours

There's a bit of a generic feel to life, when one is thrown into their world knowing, immediately, exactly what they must do.
The golden animal hovers over the stretch of land before you, hesitantly, as if it weren't sure it should land. After a moment's pass, its gleaming paws meet the earth.
He stands there before you, his small claws sifting through the soil, as if it were a millenia since they last touched ground. A thought crosses your mind that, perhaps, it has.
You notice that the creature has been taking his time looking about, seemingly entranced by the landscape around you. He gives a short laugh, his deep-red gaze turning back towards you.

I guess we can thank instinct for that. He continues..

I come from a world far out of anyone's reach. It is a beautiful world--majestic in every which way-- and an incredibly dangerous one.

Star-Gazing✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

You've found yourself staring at the night sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of-- OH!
Was that just it?
You marvel at the circling ray of golden light, far in the distance. It's Caapa, you're certain of it. And he seems to be weaving his way through the stars.. and.. connecting them? You squint your eyes for a closer look..

Farewell✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

The golden animal kicks off the ground to float in the air momentarily, his body unbound by the laws of gravity.
You notice him prepare to turn and leave, and in a moment of desire you call out to him, exclaiming,
When will I see you again?
You see Caapa's eyes squint as if in the pressure of a smile.

The future is uncertain. But if you keep your eyes peeled, you'll be sure to see me again one day.
His golden coat begins to glow by increasing degree, until his golden shine lights up the meadow. You know that this is it, that any moment would be his departure. You cover your eyes in the light, and try to grab at a piece of it.
And then, in the blink of an eye, you felt the warmth of the light rise up, speeding up to the atmosphere, and the meadow was in darkness again.

Save for a small glow that came from your outstretched hand. You withdraw your fingers to gaze at the material you managed to grasp..

You spot a curious-looking shape whilst traversing through Caapa's system.
A rip in space. A small, menacing void.
Your eyes notice a glint of light within this void. What could possibly exist, there? What object could have made itself known at that moment, shifting itself momentarily to allow the rays of Caapa's golden light to reflect off its silvery surface?
Caapa has already dismissed you; his attention drifting to a place unknown.
Do you dare venture towards that mysterious platinum gleam..?
