Yesterday was my birthday. Yay.
I'm sorta on hiatus, if you haven't noticed. I am trying to get re - addicted to Neo, but...I don't know. I just...I just don't see the fun anymore. Maybe it's a phase, and maybe I'll come back. But I dunno. 'Til then, all these fonts are still up and okay to use.

Oh hi! Thought you'd get lost in the fonts there, haha. What can I do for you? What, you'd like to learn Mockingjay's history? Well, you've come to the right place! Not like you went anywhere. You just...ANYWAY STORYTIME!
I had just finished reading the Hunger Games series. It was a long time ago...A year or so, maybe? Anyway, I was so obsessed with it I wanted to contribute to the site world with a Hunger Games theme.
My first option was graphics. Banners, icons, button bases...I wanted to do it. I practiced everyday with making these (horrible, to be honest) graphics I thought, back then, were terrific. But after I while, I got tired and stopped it. Graphics won't cut it. Especially now that GIMP was spazzing on me.
What else can I do? Fonts came into my mind while staring at nothing. But I still needed practice with fonts, especially with picture fonts. I dismissed the idea.
The day before Mockingjay opened, I asked people, Should I make a font site? Now to think of it, not even the day before. Days ago. And they all answered yes.
I remember having the idea of a Hunger Games font site. Delighted by the idea, I stayed up one night setting up Mockingjay for its opening.
And that is how Mockingjay was formed. A quick little history, I know, but accurate. Now go along, there are more stuff around Mockingjay you might like to see. (:
