Suddenly from the bushes immerged a large...Dragon! It's purple hued scales shimmered some in the moonlight as it's sliver talons scrapped the earth. It's underbelly was lighter shade. On the right side of it was a large, purple wing, with light purple membranes..but on the left..there was an odd, golden mechanical wing that looked to be very old. The mechanisms were outdated, seeming to be of ancient decent.Strange blue lights were admitted between the stalks of the wings, seeming to flicker on an off as the thin spokes held it to the main body of the wing. The metal glittered in the light, showing off odd runes that decorated it. The same runes decorated the dragon's legs where four clamps could be seen. Attached to the clamps were blades, curved upwards and jutting from them. Upon the dragon's tail was a blade as well, seeming syith like in shape, decorated with the same runes on clamp that attached it, as on its legs. Metallic spikes ran down the ridge of its back. The dragon snorted at you, flicking it's webbed ears about as it stared at you. You fearfully looked up to the dragon's head. It's right eye seemed gental, understanding..and had a golden color to it..but the left..the left was a deep red glowing mechanical eye. It made whirrs as it stuided you, seeming to focus in and out.
You stared at the dragon for a few moments, and then it spoke up.
HUMAN! How dare you come here! Into his forbidden land!
It roared, yet it's voice was not that of a machine..it held so much power..and majesty. It was melodic and beautiful, and..it sounded female.
Well Human! What do you say to defend yourself!
The dragoness said again, swishing her bladed tail dangerously close to you.
I..I...I..
You stuttered, not being able to talk.
The dragoness snorted, tossing her head some.
Feh! Stupid human..such weaklings you are.
She said, looking away. She sighed, folding her wings. As she did, her mechanical one's blueish light faded, leaving only the golden spokes to be seen. You continue to stare, not argueing with her comment. Your mind was filled with questions..but your heart still feared the dragon's power.
Be gone human! You have no business to see me here..
She muttered, not looking back to you. Her eyes were fixed upon the moon as her metallic spines glinted in it's light. You stared at her..seeing her saddened -disallowed_word-'~.LIFE..AND DEATH..~')
It all started when I was very little. I was born centries ago..back when humans lived in peace with Dragons. We dragons lived in a place called the "Rim of Heaven" (Funke). It was a beautiful place..always flowing with moonlight..and Luner flowers..they were so beautiful. We lived in peace among the humans, coming out and soaring in the skies on the nights of full moons when our power was the greatest. But..this life was not to last. Soon the humans relized our power and became corrupt. They started to get ideas that they could use us in their plans..their wars..just to make their lives easier with no regard for we highly superior beings.
I was born to a dragoness named Ultima...she was so beautiful. She was the lead queen of the clan that we dwelled in, named Firedrake. Her silver hue was amazing, and her beautiful blue eyes always looked on me with such love. I was not alone at my birth, I had my sister Nani with me. She was smaller then me, and held the same hue as our mother, I was the only one cursed with the look of my late father..Flare. A few years pasted and we still lived a harmonious lifestyle. Until one night when the Golden Death came upon us. The humans had secretly been learning magic behind our backs. They called it Alchemy...With it, they created beings that were made to destroy us, for humans always fear what they cannot control. So, they devised a plan to get rid of us. They dubbed their new creature, Nettlebrand. He was a dragon..and yet not. His armor shone with golden glints and nothing could penetrate it. Even our sacred fire could not phase him at all. He was the "Dragon Hunter." He was created only to kill us, and so would never stop until all of us were dead. The night he descended was the night of the new moon..the night when we dragons are most vulnerable. His deep, red glowing eyes pierced the night as he lumbered upon the Rim of Heaven. He was easily the size of 3 of our dragons, his wingless stature was over powering our already weak forces. Then, my mother hid Nani and I in a deep cave. My sister and I wept, cuddling on a small ledge over laying the surrounding mountains of the Himalayas. We were alone..our mother was gone..and we had hardly learned how to care for ourselves. We were doomed from the start. One day as Nani was out flying about in the darkness, I heard a large cawing sound. There from the skies dove a Roc, it's huge wings over casting the light of the moon. I heard a scream and looked about, seeing Nani's body become enclosed within the talons of the beast. My mind reeled about, What was I to do? I could not leave my sister! So, I quickly took up on my wings and flew after the bird. As I came upon him, I tried desperately to free her. The Roc noticed my yankings and roared, turning back to face me. I screamed in surprise and avoided the attack that followed, still keeping a close eye on my sister. But as I did, the Roc's sharp beak hit me, making me tumble to the valley below. I awoke many hours later, the scenery around me was a small hidden valley that outlined the mountain. A quiet river flowed by as a small structure joined the place between it. I got up slowly, my head pounding as I saw blood beneath me. My head spun and I fell back to the ground harshly. I breathed heavily, trying to remember what had happened. Then, the sight of my sister came to my mind. Nani!! Where was she?! What had happened to the Roc? I looked up, the noon day sky greeted me with a burning glow. My eyes closed tightly as tears streamed down my face. She was gone..a meal for some worthless, mangy bird. I got up, going over to the water to wash the blood and tears from me. I cried all of that day, the only person who I had left..was gone..and it was all my fault. I was now..truely alone. Feeling better as the moon's glow shone upon me, giving me strength, I soon went into the sky to investigate my surroundings. I was on the outskirts of a small human village. There in the middle of town was a large building, made of stone. I flew close to it, it's colors and shapes seemed to welcoming to me. I soon found a ledge to land on, letting my wings catch the air and landed softly on the stone. I craned my neck to peer through a wind*w. There before me I saw a boy, very young and shaggy looking. He seemed tired and weak, as if he had just returned from a battle. I snorted some, seeing the human. They were the cause of all of my family's death..Yet..the site of another made my heart leap in joy. It was a large blue hued dragon. His shimmering silver tinted scales glowed in the moonlight from the wind*w. He seemed to sit near the boy, helping him stay on his feet. My eyes widened, I was not the only dragon left! There were others! I kept quiet, my stubbornness preventing me from speaking up to my kin. As I watched, more humans entered, wearing long robes that fell to the floor. They exclaimed in happy voices to the boy, whom they called the "Dragon Rider". I snorted, still watching. Then, the group left into another room. I sighed as I looked back to the sky. My heart was now filled with hope though, there were other dragons. Perhaps I could find them, so I would not be alone. So, I started my long journey to find others of my kind. I flew the skies by night, searching of the land and finally finding a chain of islands that looked promising. I scanned them over and over. Never finding any trace of my kin, but something in my heart told me to stay. So, there on the island chains I stayed, for 70 years. I was now a dragon of 80. I was large in stature, cursing myself every time I looked upon the water as I reminded myself so much of my father. I wandered lonely around the islands, keeping an eye on the humans as they seemed to change. They became more violent, and hostile. They turned their backs on their own kind..and soon..a War was started..one that would change my life forever. One night, unluckly it was the night of the new moon, I was sleeping near the beach on the edge of a town. I could see the lights in the distance, but I had grown accustom to them, I need not fear the weak creatures. As I slept soundly, there came a loud Bang that tore through the night. I woke with a start, seeing a band of humans behind me. I growled, turning to face them as blue flames shot from my mouth. The humans backed up a bit. I smiled at the foolish beings and started towards them. Big mistake. There came the sound again, this time a crippling pain followed. I roared in agony as a small object priced my fleshy underbelly, causing me to double over into the sand. The humans seemed to rejoice over this and approached me. I still growled, getting up wearily. I snorted, unfolding my wings to escape, I was tired now, not enough light from the moon to cast my flames anymore. I growled, taking off into the sky, but staying near the ground. The new moon's darkness covered the sky, I could not fly higher. The humans quickly followed on strange beasts that made loud, clanking noises. I hurried my flight, trying to fly faster, and farther away from them. But they soon caught up. I flicked my tail, trying to ward them off, causing one to go toppling to the ground off of the beast it rode upon. I smirked in joy, but my victory was short lived. There, in front of me was another group of humans, ready and waiting with nets to capture me. I growled, seeing no choice and took my changes with the sea. I knew it was foolish, but I never wanted those humans to catch me. So, I tried to fly over the water, high enough so the waves didn't dampen my wings. But, it was no use. I could not fly during this moon and my strength was soon depilated. I plummeted from the sky into the sea, crashing into the cold waters. I tried to stay above it, but I soon fell unconscious, the sun rising slowly above the horizon.
Another curse of his dwelled upon me. On my legs were blade like spikes jutting from them. I believe that I got them from my father, but I am not for sure..I never really saw him much..
She paused, looking to the ground, thinking of him.But he is not important now..the heartless male ran away from me and my family when Nani and I were only a few years old. I will never forget his lasts words to us..
So long my pawns..the plan has been set into motion..soon it will begin.
I had no idea that his words were so..so very true.
Run my young ones, let no one find you. Travel through the tunnels.
But mother, what about you?My sister spoke up. My mother just smiled, a small tear coming down her cheek. She knew she would not live..but she wanted us to believe that she would.
Do not worry..I will be alright.
...the foolish one..
She muttered, her golden eye held so much emotion..but it was not disguisable what kind it was..
So, my sister and I fled through the endless maze of tunnels that lead around the Rim of Heaven. It seemed forever as we wandered around the beautifully jeweled caverns, until finally a small light was visible. It was the sun. It had was beginning to rise. We both looked back to the Rim of Heaven and heard the cry of Nettlebrand..he had hunted them all. Our clan was dead.
('~.CAPTURE.~')
Weeks pasted as we lived near the mountain slope. We never ventured far from it, fearing the strange villages of the humans that dwelled there. Though we had met the humans before..the attack on our clan had been their fault. How could you trust anyone such as that?
MOON! NO!!
I heard my sister call..before I blacked out..

Why did the humans attack you?
You asked quietly, staring at her face. Moon snorted loudly, letting her red eye gleam at you, but her other was closed.
This...this is why they captured me...
She said harshly, letting her mechanical wing unfold as the blue streams of light attached the spokes together again. You looked to her, as if not completely understanding.
Moon sighed and shoke her head, muttering something under breath.
I see I must explain everything to you..very well..
She said, sighing deeply as he folded her wing back, making the light disappear again.
('~.TRANSFORMATION.~')
When I awoke...I had no memory of what had happened during my sleep. My sight was blurry, covered with odd images..and in one of my eyes, all I saw was red. I had not strength to get up yet, so I lay there, trying to gather my thoughts. When my vision returned, I saw many odd things about me. Mechanical arms over shadowed me, their prongs attached to a large, box like instrument. The room was large, giving off an odd green glow in it. The ominous blinking lights and monitors were everywhere, surrounding me with strange cords and wires. Suddenly, the sound of something behind me caught my attention. I tried to look back, seeing an older human, dressed in all white. Upon his face were shinning surfaces that covered his eyes. He seemed to smile as he saw that I had awaken.
Good. You have finally activated #3009.
It said. I snorted, wondering about what he said. #3009? What did that mean? And activated? He was silent for a while as he walked over. I growled, trying to get up, but I was tied down by something. I still held no strength. The human smirked and ran a hand down my tail, going to the end to pick it up. I started to flick my tail in protest, but then saw something odd. Instead of the normal arrow shaped tip that it usually held, there was a blade upon the end. Its shape was much like that of a scythe. I had seen Humans use it with their crops. Attaching it to me was an odd golden clamp with a rune on it. The human saw my confusion and laughed.
Do not worry Buki, you will get used to these new features..you must if you are to help us in the war.
He smirked and then left, laughing as he did.
I winced in pain as I lifted myself up, yet I felt nothing on my left side. I tried to move my wings, but I only felt one. I paniced, looking back to see a large, metallic looking object upon my back, next to my real wing. I snorted, scared of what the humans had done to me. My whole body looked like that of a machine. My inner wing was a mixture of laser and light particles that connected it to golden spokes, baring the same runes as my tail. Where my spikes usually were on my legs, had now been replaced by blades as well, the golden armor seeming to be melted into my scales. My back, which had been covered in silver spines, had been turned into blades as well.
I screeched, letting my body flail about, in hopes that I could escape. What had they done! What was I! And what was this War that they spoke of.
Hearing the commotion the humans returned, many of them this time. They seemed to type into the machines that held me, creating a shock. I roared in pain, falling back to the examining table that I was placed on. I tried to get back up, but everytime I did, they shocked me more. My eyes closed tightly as I tried to understand. Then, the laughter of the human came again, another shock coming to me. I was starting to loose consciousness again. But before I did, I heard him utter to the other white clothed humans.
Yes..she is the Ultimate Death Weapon. With her natural talents, and our advancements; She will surely win us this war...
Again I awoke to the sound of whirring and spinning of machines around me. This time I had strength enough to get up. But there before me stood the Human in white, the one whom I supposed was the leader of the others. He smirked at me, grinning joyfully. I growled and swished my tail, my eyes turning back to its now bladed end.
WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!
I roared, letting my wings unfold. I started to topple over at the odd feeling of my fake wing. I snorted, trying to coordinate the flapping of them. The human laughed as he watched my fumbling. I growled.
TELL ME!
I demanded once again. The human sighed.
Well Dragoness, you have now become the Death Weapon #3009, Codename Buki. You have been chosen to fight on our side in the great Human War. We have made you into what you are today. It took a long time, but it was worth it. You are the deadlest weapon that we have.
He said, walking over to me. I jerked away from him, ripping a few cords from their sockets.
What do you mean a long time? How long has it been?
I asked frantically.
Almost 27 years now..but with our technical advancements to you, you shall remain young forever. In a since you are immortal.
Why did you do this! Can't you stupid humans keep your fighting to yourself! What makes you think I would ever help You insolent slobs anyway!
You have no choice my dear. You are under our control.
And with that, he held a strange device in his hand. It flicked a switch and my head came errect. My left eye glowed fiercely as I was forced to look into a mirror. I was a hideous beast..A blend of metal and flesh..blades covered my body and my eye was a red, glowing circle. I snorted, trying to look away, but I couldn't. The human kept my head in place. I wanted to cry..I wanted to scream. But I could do nothing but look into my new face..my new life as a tool for the humans.
(~.THE WAR..~) Soon, the humans trained me in the way of war. Ever since I had seen my new body, and saw the way that the human had controlled me, I never again tried to rebel them. I no longer thought of how to find the other dragons, or keeping my freedom. No. The humans had planted only one idea in my head. KILL. Though it was hard a first to get the coordination of my new body, and my real body to be as one, I soon mastered it. When ever mind and body were in sink, I truly was an unstoppable machine of death. Soon, my time had arrived, I was to be used on a secret mission against the "Enemy." Of course I had no real objection, for I was still under their control in influence, but I could not have predicted what would happen next. And with that, I flew off, using my fake wing to carry most of my weight, for I couldn't fly during the day. I landed near my real camp, not wanting the humans to know what I had done..they would surely "Deactivate" me, fearing I would turn on them. I snorted as I watched them. Then, I realized that they were the cause of all this. If they hadn't trained me in the way of killing, turned me into this...this..Assain! I would not have been involved. I growled, as my blades were still coated in blood. I knew I must rid myself of these humans if I was ever to be free. I waited until night fall. I had heard the humans calling me, both with the remote, and with their voices. But I had resisted, I would not let my plan fail. Soon, the moon rose, full and bright, giving me more and more power. Then, a guard pasted by my hiding place. He seemed to be forcibly moving an object to the door. The scent was familiar somehow..but I soon forgot it. I then could no longer restrain myself..I attacked. My claws went slashing as the human had no chance to fight back. To my dismay. I enjoyed the killing of this capturer of mine. A smile came to my face, but it soon faded as I saw something else near the dead body of the guard. What he had been pushing, the small child that had survived from the other camp. He two was covered in blood, laying on the ground. What had I done? Had my mind been so corrupted that I didn't even notice what I had killed?! I screeched into the night, descending upon the lab that had made me this death weapon so long ago..... When I awoke the next morning, I found myself laying in walls of the lab, something attached to me, shocking me every few moments. I snorted, causing a flicker of blue flame to shoot out, but it had not effect. I growled, looking about as I spotted the main scientist. He was clutching his side as blood covered his white coat. I smirked, I had obviously hurt him seriously, but how had he gotten me back in restraint? My mind riddled with questions..my father? He had sold me out to the humans? In exchange for what!? Why would he do such a thing..perhaps he was the one who aided the humans in finding of the Rim of Heaven! He..he was to blame for all of this! That wretch of a sire had betrayed all of dragon kind...but..so had I. From the night of the fire I feared all. I didn't want to lose control again, killing everything..becomeing what man had made me. I was a dragon..one of the few that were left. The thought of trying to find the others has come to my mind many times...but what would they think of me? A betrayer. a killer..a tool for Human hands..No. I would stay on my own. Never seeing others. I would stay as I was intended from birth...I would stay alone.
She paused once again, her head hanging low. She looked so angry, and ashamed at herself. You turned to her, putting your hand on her side with sympathy. She snarled, jerking it away as her tail flicked again, the blade shinning once more. You put your hand slowly back to your chest, sighing as she started to continue her story.
There I lay, hiding in the bushes near the enemy camp. I was sent alone, for I could easily handle myself. As I waited for the signal from the others, I watched the camp carefully, seeing the humans creating massive amounts of weapons, and many dead bodies of their own kind around the area. How could Humans do such a thing? Why were they so brutal and uncaring...Then, my memory of that awful night at the Rim of Heaven returned. My real eye widened as my red eye glowed fiercely, I was losing control. I ignored my mission and opened my wings, flying off into the night towards the enemy camp. I roared loudly, spitting blue fire upon them. They retaliated with guns that went straight through my metal wing, but I felt nothing. I landed, slicing countless humans as they approached. Some tried to fight back to protect their camp, but they failed. They were no match for the likes of me. Every place I passed I swung my tail, or cut them with my wing. My rampage lasted until the light of day, when I finally calmed down. I breathed heavily as my red eye zoomed in a out, look at what surrounded me. Blood..It was everywhere. I covered me, soaking into my scales and blades. I screeched loudly, realizing what I had done. The whole camp was dead. I walked about, seeing the remains of dozens of bodies, their scent, forever on me..reminding me of my mass murder. I then looked to a small house, out front was a small human child, clutching his chest. I had not hurt him, but my flames had devoured his house, smoke had filled his lungs, and his whole family was dead..because of me...My real eye filled with tears for the first time in so long.
You...You thought you could win..You thought you could get away with betrayal. But..you thought wrong! You are a hazard, you can no longer live. You must be diactivated..and I am the only one left to do it.
I winced as another shock came to me.
Human filth! Do you really believe you can destroy me!
I called back, my eyes enraged. My blades were still covered in the blood of the night's slaughter as I inhaled deep. I flung open my wings, snapping the cables as I did so. I used all my strength to destroy the machine that held me down. It would no longer shock me again. I breathed fire everywhere, letting loose a flurry of flames that soon caught the hold building on fire. I startled the human, who strangely had a look of..madness upon his face. He looked at me, smirking and then started to laugh.
You believe you can stop us! We the humans that created you! No matter where you go, what you have done to others will haunt you endlessly. You can never let go of the past. You cannot run away from what you are. A DEATH WEAPON!!. You were destined to be mine! Ever since your father sold you out to us! You are #3009!! Never forget that!
He then cackled as flames consumed his flesh. I ran away from the place, his words still burning in my ears.
And so....I have stayed on my own for 200 years now..I am immortal so I cannot die. I shall live alone for ever..Never finding rest from the sins that I have commited. And hateing what I am, cursing myself..for what I have become..and what I have been made...
I...I'm so sorry for what we have done..
You said, wiping your face with your sleeve. Moon looked at you, snorting. You are not to blame human..individually..but your race is. It should be cursed for what it has done..but. It seems that all individual beings have their foul times.
She said, trailing off again. You looked at her, still sadly. Then you sighed, staring at the moon's round glow. Something comes to your head.
Wait a moment... she remarked, lifting her head once more towards you, it seems that there have been other adventures as well...Do you remember the Roc? She paused, anticipation growing as you look to her with deep, curious eyes, nodding in understanding. She continued to remain quiet, as if in quiet concentration, before she opened her mouth, fangs forming into a snarl.
It has been found...
The following is from an actually rp that Moon was invovled in, so it's going to be in the past tense
('~.RETURN OF THE ROC.~')
Moon ducked her head down in instinct, golden eye turning into little more then a slit as she looked upon the form of the gaint bird. A loud, snarling growl emitted from her throat as she lifted her head, roaring. She snapped upon her wings, glad for the departure of the clingy Shadow, as light flickered through the golden spokes. "Finallly! My revenage shall come to you and your murderous kind!" she recalled, vaulting off of the ground and soaring into the air, head out as she prepared to ram the Roc with heated determination.
Moon flapped her wings vigoriously as she spiraled in the air, rhammiing harshly into the chest of the Roc and knocking it back. She lifted her head to the sky, red eye blazing as she prepared to attack once more, oblivious to her surrondings. Her sycthe-like tassle flicked around, slicing a large gash in the bird, blood smearing on Moon's purple scales. "You shall pay for what you did to my sister!" She called out once more, rearing her head back and releasing a brilliant, blue flame over where she had just opened a wound, the Roc shrieking in utter pain as it was attacked at all sides.Moon swooped through the air, dodging each blow that would come her way, eyes and mind focused in rage upon the large beast before her. She opened her mouth, letting another rain of fire barrage the best as she made her way along it's underside, flying straight upwards. Then, with a few flaps of her wings; she backed up to look to the Roc before her, smirking widely in the pain that it was suffering, self-rightious mind settling on the punishment she felt it deserved. Hovering in the air she remained in flight for some time, circling a few passes before she went back down, bringing up her legs and digging her blades into the flesh around its eyes, whipping her tail around and cutting a deep wound. The Roc faught back excedingly as the pain became a steady pace, beating his wings and eventually knocking Moon away with a swift peck. Yet, Moon was virtually unphased, staggering back out of range, she waited once again for another opportunity. This would end soon...
As the Roc lunged at Moon, Jaffar seized that moment to leap at it's neck, right below it's head, then started to randomly stab parts of it's feathery flesh, trying to find a weak spot while attacking with the rest of his body that was spiny or spear-like while hanging on in a balenced way. Zalinkos had settled back down and was thumping the ground with her tail in a "cheer". Moon snarled, watching for a few moments as Jaffar attacked the bird. She then hissed to him, telling him to back away from this battle. The final blow would be hers..and no one elses. She had to seek revenage...she had to get back for her sister's sake. "Prepare to die." she muttered in a chilling voice, raising her shimmering talons in the air as she dove back down, rushing the bird harshly in its chest as she pummled to the ground, the weight of the bird crumpling from the barrage of blows. Shaking her head and quickly recovering from the fall; Moon's red eye focused on the dying bird with impulsive tentions, stretching out her neck and biting down harshly on its wing, ripping it directly off the bird with such bone-shattering force that there was no way the Roc would ever have the chance to fly again. Moon's eyes were enraged, nothing else mattered, no one else was with her, as far as she was concerned. It was merely her and the Roc, one of her greatest enemies.
Jaffar nodded and lept off, landing in the grass with a soft thump. He sat down and started to watch, pawing the ground in a slightly uneasy manner. Zalinkos disliked such violence, but watched anyways, not wanting to make Moon unhappy. Shadow had landed on one of Zalinkos' crests, chittering crazily like always. Moon, now seeing that her 'friends' were out of range, lifted her head and clamped her razor sharp teeth about the neck of the beast, strangling it with all her might as the Roc thrashed about. Yet, with disabled wings, the Roc could hardly move at all, golden eye pericing into Moon with a look of fear. Moon, who's own golden eye had glanced to the Roc with rage, saw the dying glimpse of the other. The Roc screeched its last breath, collapsing in a heep from the loss of blood and the inability to breathe.
Moon stood over it, panting heavily as she still held a firm grip upon it, never wanting to let go....She had finally defeated her enemy...the Roc. It was dead, and her sister's life had been avenged, at least in her eyes. Snorting, she dropped the neck of the Roc, watching the head fall lifelessly to the ground with a satisfied smile. She then lifted her head to the sky, pouring fire into the night...Her job was done...but not fully. She would still quest for others of her kind that still lived...or the oppostite, stay away from them. Yet, she couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt for killing it, her old mind coming back from when she was but a senseless death machine. What had she done...? Would she go back to the way that she use to be? Would her nightmare ever truely be over...
Jaffar got up and shook any fallen feathers off his body, then said, -Mmm...according to what I can guess, this is revenge of some sort?- Zalinkos spread her wings again and took to the skies above, wanting to get closer to the sea. Shadow was still sitting on Jaffar's left wing, enjoying the ride. Moon's head slowly turned around to him, nostrils flaring as blue smoke was directed towards the ground. "...My sister. My sister, many centuries back, was killed and eaten by a Roc. She was the only family that I had left." she explained, a hint of sorrow within her voice, though it was quickly replaced with malice. "Now I have saught my revenge for her..and that beast will never fly the skys again." she said, talons digging into the ground as she stood there, seeming almost too stunned to move.
Jaffar nodded and said, -What you just did is something I long to do to Nergal.- He hissed slightly at the sting of saying his old master's voice, and started to walk northward again, being sure to step on the dead birds' wing with a crack. Zalinkos snorted a bit in slight disapproval of the violence, then started to walk along as well, to only trip over a large root and fall forward clumsily. "Maybe I should stick to flying..
Moon's auds twitched, neck jerking in relation to the satisfying 'snap' of the bird's wing under the foot of her companion. She snorted, coming back to her senses as she let her red eye zoom in on the legendary bird with an odd glance before she returned her eyes forward. She breathed in, wincing as she just started to notice a sudden pain in her side from where she had been knocked down by the bird. ~No matter...That beast will not get the better of me..~ She reminded herself mentally as she started forward. "...Are we to stop for day break?" she asked, trying not to allude to the fact that she was getting tired.
Zalinkos gave a toothy grin, pushed herself up with her huge wings, then said, yawning, "Yeah...I'd like that. We're getting closer to the seaside, which I apperiate.." Jaffar looked back at Zalinkos, blinked tiredly, and nodded slightly in agreement. Shadow hopped off Jaffar's bony wing, looking at the scratch on Moon's side. "Zali-zali! Meekroo!" Zalinkos looked over at this, then down at Moon's wound. "Would you like me to heal that..?"
Moon's eyes shifted, glancing to the bird as she pointed out the scratch. It was larger then she had expected....She snorted, shaking her head in protest. "No...I shall bare the scar of the bird as a sign that my task was done...For my sister's sake." she explained, shrugging off the slight pain that came each time that she moved another step. "This is nothing for me..." she added, seeming slightly protective and stubborn to the idea of having help. The sea...the were getting closer to the sealine already? She had not ventured this far east in quite some time..

There..there must be something else about you that I do not know..
You stagger, eyeing her tail again which was dangerously close to your face. Moon snorted.
Must you know all of my life! Nosy Human...
She snapped, letting her wings come out as the light appeared between the spokes again. She growled before snorting again.
Fine! If you must know I shall explain even more. Let no secrets be hidden from your race!
She said crossly, her red eye zooming in on you.

('~.FAMILY.~')
My family is all dead...killed by humans..and by a stupid bird..Ooo, if I ever find that bird now-She stops and lets her wings unfold, swishing her tail through the air quickly.
('~.FRIENDS.~')
Who would ever befriend such a horrible, ugly tool of destruction as I? Besides...I prefer to stay on my own..But...recently I have met someone..who shares much of the pain and mesiery such as I.
This is Tenkage, or Ten. He..is a very interesting Dragon. I am glad to have met another one of my kind, though I have never seen one such as him before. He enjoys..the stars it seems. I too remember when my mother used to tell me of them..constilations of all kinds..even the Dragon. He also plays a beautiful device which he calls a "Harmonica." It makes such an enchanting noise..and even though he says that he is still learning..I believe that it sounds great. Ten seems very..timid to me as well. I don't mean to be fierce..yet he still slinks back at me. Then again, who wouldn't against something as..deadly as I..He is..without a doubt..my one true friend among those that I have found on my lonely wanderings..I enjoy his companionship very much so. He has shown me things I would have never learned of if I had stayed on my own. His past is almost as scared as mine..we share that in common. He knows of my fate..he he stayed with me..For that I shall considering him a friend..Perhaps...even more..
This is Jaffar... He seems to be..alot like me in many ways..even our past seem to be the same. He was a mercinary..and still is today. He relays on human help..something that is very strange to me. He claims that his human is kind. Ha! A kind human..what an interesting site that would be. I suppose it could be because he was human once..another odd fact. He also seems to have a talent in drawing..as he loves to doodle pictures on the ground.*snorts*must have picked that up while being human. I almost feel sorry for him having to have been human for so long....And he calls ME the strange one...But I need no pity! I am what I am and nothing can change that...no matter how I wish it wasn't so..Recently..he died and was brought back to life after my absence. Another reason to feel sorry for him...Now he must deal with immortality such as I..How I long for the day when I can actually die; though it will never come...
...Here is one of the only beings I have met that I can actually..enjoy being around. His name is Ichiro, and he, such as I, is the last of his clan, and the last of his dwindling race. I met him while I was traveling with Jaffar and it seems that the three of us, not including another quite annoying dragon--*growls and is distracted for a moment but recovers* have made a carvan of sorts. He's an intellectual being of the moon, and he has helped me on many occasion to seek my revenge and shares my hatred for humans and their destructive ways. He claims that he hears all of nature, and that he can change it as well. If such a power truly exist like what I have been exposed to while traveling with him, I begin to wonder why the event centuries ago could not have been prevented...
....This..? This thing I have no idea about. She just followed me one day. I was out on my wanderings, finding myself, once more, back near the home of the child whos parent's I had killed the night I had lost it. It was jittering and sparking, near the brink of death near the lab in which it was created. It was odd to see something that bared resemblance to me...coming from the same place as well. The runes on her hull are as mine, and she has the number "10" on her foot. Does that mean she was one of the earlier experiments? I can tell nothing from what she says...most of her memory was lost during the centuries she had to survive on her own. I have dubbed her Slyther.
('~.LOVE.~')
Love.....Love is a thing I have never truely felt. The only ones that ever showed compassion or caring for me are gone..and will never return. Even if by some small..impossible chance someone does find me worthy..I am immortal..so I shall never truely be able to be with them after death..I would just go on living..alone..
I cannot hide it any longer...I have fallen once again, much to my shame, to the weak emotions of what remains of my biological heart...The one I was gifted with at birth to share with someone else. And yet I am happy; happy to have met those I did, happy to have spent so many months traveling with companions if only to find this special someone who I can share my immortality with. It is strange how alike we are, but I suppose that only proves we are destended to be together. His voice is reassuring, his words kind, and his mastery of music...causes my heart to flutter. I regret being swayed by such primiative instincts as "love"..though I do not regret the fact that I am in love itself. Thank you, Ten, for allowing my heart to open; weakness becomes strength, as you so wisely said. And while I may not feel the same as I did before, I hope to still see you again. For now...I will trust my heart and leave my fears behind. I love you, Ichiro.
