Fey and Devon were best friends since the fourth grade, then when they were fourteen, Devon told Fey he loved her, and she fell off a tree branch in shock, and sadly died. Then eggman dumped Fey's body into a waste dump, and she turned ointo a hedgehog and was named "Pixel", and came back to life. Devon was transformed to a porcupine and named Magma. So, Pixel was always a human, just transformed into a hedgehog at first. Fey is Pixel when she was a human. Sorta confuzin', eh? Well, you'll get it in the new coming soon "Pixel's story." So Devon was her best friend for the longest time.
