As you know, I am a Blue Tonu. But what you may not have known is that while I am Tyrannian by birth and Irish by adoption, I am Cajun by inclination. It is, my momma says, a tremendous combination.

Like the rest of my family, I am a reader. Currently, I am collecting cookbooks. My growing library includes:
Ironically, my deep involvement with food started in the Library! Here is the excerpt from my diary for that eventful day:
3/25/06.. Look what I found in the Library!! "T Is For Tasty: An Introduction To Fine Tyrannian Cuisine For Young Pets".
I know, I know. Mom has lots of cookbooks. But this one was written by Theodore Pruudhommme Tonu as a primer. And Mommy says I may try these recipes. Someday I might become a Gourmet Chef! (My sibs are laughing; but I bet they eat eveything I cook!) We are on our way to the market now. My list is in Mommy's purse. (I'm going to try a roast!) This is exciting!!!
WEEEEE. My dinner turned out great.
(Mommy, and even the sibs, helped.)
And, I joined the Gourmet Food Club!
I have since discovered that the involvement of Tonu's with good cooking has a long history. Unlike the common stereotype, we emphasize fresh, quality ingredients and distinct flavors. I even found this picture:
As I said, Mommy let me become a member of the Gourmet Club.

6/6/06... Oh What A Wonderful Birthday!!!... Momma gave me an Earth Faerie Oven for my very own and had it installed in the kitchen. I have my own work area as well. I also got books to read (Yeeha!) and a Tyrannian Salad for my gallery from my sibs. They knew just what I wanted! And then for dinner, we went to the Golden Dubloon on Krawk Island. What a party!!!!! All that wonderful food and music! When we got home, as a final surprise, a Strawberry Ice Cream Tonu Cake.
I am a blessed little girl. It was such a great day and I am soooo happy.10/03/2007... Billie received the PPL today!
