I'll tell you what you do not need to buy/get on this site so you do not waste your neopoints because you didn't know better. However this site is all about having fun and doing whatever you want to. What Not To Do
Do not buy things you do not need, or things that you could get for much cheaper another way. These include:
1) Food
It is extreamly expensive and your pet can not die. If you want your pet to be happy, however put it in the
neolodge .
2)Your Neohome
This does not help you in any way and if you put your pet in the neolodge it will never be home anyways.
3)Medicine
This can be very expensive and it can take a while to find the kind you are looking for. Instead go to the
healing springs every 30 minutes until your pet is healed.
4)Random Items
Any little items, such as toys, because you can get lots of different items at the
money tree for free.
Your Shop
Making a shop is one way to get neopoints. Go to
your shop page to create a shop and stock it. Start small so you can keep your stock full. Here are some tips on how to earn the most neopoints from your shop.
Pricing
Price the items you put in your shop on the
shop wizard so you do not underprice or overprice your items. Try to get within the lowest 3 prices. The shop wizard only shows you the prices of groups. These groups are created from your username. My group is the group consisting of the usernames starting with p and c. To get the best idea of how to price your items refresh until you get your page.
Stocking
Start out stocking using only items that you get for free from around the site or from the daily freebies. This way you do not have to worry about what to buy to stock your shop with. Once you get the hang of neopets and your shop you can try to buy cheap items to resell.
Games
Probably the most popular and easiest way to earn neopoints. My suggestion is to find a couple games that you like to play, either because they are fun or because they are easy, and play them every day you get on. The most you can earn on one play of a game is 1000 neopoints although in some games the maximum number of neopoints you can earn is less than 1000. There are two types of games and they are:
1)Games that aren't actually games
The games where you barely do anything and you get neopoints. The games in this catagory that I play are:
adver-video,
fasion fever (only start and end for max # of NP),
Qasalan Expellibox, and the
Wheel of Slime.
2)Games that are actually games
The games that are actually games that you play and have to give a little effort to earn neopoints. The games I play in this catagory are:
Snow Wars 2, and
Hot Dog Hero.
