BlueFaerie The River Faerie

The Meeting

It was a nice autumn day, and you where walking by a river. You had alway enjoyed the sound of water, and it was warm enough to go down there and play by the river without a jacket. So, you're walking along the bank, when all of the sudden, you slip on a wet, flat rock. You scream and you splash into the water; you have on too much clothing to swim! You fear you're about to drown when all of the sudden there's a tugging on your sweater. Before you know it, you're heaved out of the water and onto the bank.

Thanks," you breathe, not yet seeing your rescuer. When you look up, you're taken by surprise. It's a uni! A beautiful one, at that. Her light blue fur stands out against her black mane, tail and hooves. Her webbed wings obviously help propell her through the water. And what's this? Down by her ankles there are fins instead of the normal fur feahering that most unis have! Her golden horn in glinting in the sunlight, making her wet body gleam.
You're welcome, guest. That is your name, is it not?" she says, her voice soft and sweet.
Yes, it is. How did you know?" you ask her, baffled.
The mare does not answer you, she only says, "My name is BlueFaerie. I am a river faerie, a rare breed that gaurds the rivers of the universe."
Really? How?" you ask, curious about this mare.
Stay, and I shall tell you everything," she says gently.
Okay!" you agree eagerly, nodding your head.

My Story

You see when I was a young filly I was playing by this very river... Sudenley I fell in and started to drown. I hit my head on a rock and passed out. I was sinking toward the bottom when a water faerie saved me. When I awoke on shore the water faerie was sitting next to me. I could not remember anything. The faerie explained to me what had happend. I looked to the other side and saw one of my wings. To my surprise insted of being feathred like it used to be it was webed and when I looked at my feet I saw I had fins on my ankles. I screamed but the water faerie told to calm down. She told me that I had been blesseed. She said that I could now breathe under water and as a river faerie it was my duty to protect the rivers and the creatures that live in them."

Family and Friends

Do you have an family? Friends?" you ask.
The mare snorts. "I have no family to speak of, save for my gaurdian whom I rarely see. I have one friend, Larysa, but now I find it hard to see her because of her whole 'leading her herd' thing. I woulod like to have more friends, but I rarely leave my river and tend to be very.. shy around new unis. However, there are a few."

River Faerie Powers And General Information

River faeries are very rare, and I am the only one in Neopia to my knowledge. I can use water to heal, but I loose some of my strength in he process. I can make others breathe under water temporarily like I can, but it is only temporary. It will wear off after a while. I can bless others to be river faeries or water gaurdians, but only if I trust them very much. I can fly, but only for short distances. I must stay near water, otherwise I die. And river faeries tend to be very shy, avoiding others as much as possible."

My Petpet

I have a plushie doglefox named Andrea. She has to stay on land while I spend most of my time in the water, but I'm okay with that and so is she. She's a very kind and gentle petpet, but sometimes can get a tad hyper."

    After hearing about the mare, she nudges you to your feet.
    You should get home, guest. It's getting late and your family must be getting worried. Hurry now, you've spent quite enough time here," she says. You turn to leave, when all of the sudden you remember something.
    Hey, how did you know my name when I first got here?" you ask, whirling around. But the mare had already bounded off, leaving you there with a question to that. Where she stood there was now a small patch. You have to choice to take it or leave it. Once you've made your decision, you smile and walk home.
