Cramming it in one giant space
Packrat and Avie Guide
Picture yourself opening a huge vault with nothing in it. Now what to do with such a huge space?
Of course, cram your excess stuff in it. Then after getting a 1000†of items you can get another avatar for your avatar collection. But that seems so impossible to do! The task of going to all those 1000†items is too much in just one day. How are you going to collect so many things? Have no fear there are ways to get these items.
1) Why don't we start in your starter kit? We can use them to add in your SDB (Safety Deposit Box) collection. That is, if you still haven't used the items given to you.
2) Every month there is a giveaway that includes 2000 NPs and a food that each of your pets have picked. Of course 4 pets has an advantage...
3) The Giant Omelette. Remember you can eat that for 3 times. How about putting each 1/3, 2/3 and the whole omelette in your SDB. But be careful not to eat the rotten omelette.
4) The Giant Jelly in the Jelly World. You can eat a serving for 2 times. So now you can put 1/2, and whole jelly. Just remember don't let your pets eat that poisonous jelly.
5) Collecting books is a sure way to add up in your collection. These books are needed by your pets if you want them to have intelligence skill. Fishing Made Easy is a good way to increase your Fishing Skill. ^_^
6) Stamps. Some stamps are cheap especially when you get to lower the price. Still this is an expensive way to place something in your SDB. While it is expensive you may want to try getting those elusive stamp avatars.
7) How about doing some Jhudora or Illusen's quests? You can do a quest every 12 hours. They give some items and also cool avatars when you reach the 20th quest.
8) Some people are lucky to find some items when they search in the neopets site. They can also add up to the collection. You can be lucky to find some rare map pieces or codestones and even NPs.
9) Still not enough? Try going to the Money Tree, if you have the will power to fight against the super speed computers of some people then go for it.
10) Underwater Fishing, for those who loves fishing, this is the right place to get some fishing skills, fish, some rotten boots, titanic squid, and oh an avie!
11) Coltzan's Shrine, a good place to get some food, some NPs, some level ups, strength, defense, and speed ups.
12) Faerieland Healing Springs, a one stop healing place for those who got those nasty sickness and don't have the money to but those medicines. The faerie can also give you potions too.
13) Tick Tack Tombola. Feeling lucky? Why not try your luck and see if you can get some cool prizes.
14) The Neopet Fruit Machine. What an easier way to get some of those fruits with some NPs.
15) Check some cool Packrat help guides. They have a list of items that can help you get all those cheap items. ^_^ You can find my list of items at the bottom of the page.
16) Be a Shop Wizard. Take note that while the first name has the cheapest in that group, you can still refresh the wizard until you can find the very cheapest prize for the said item. Still can't believe me? I bought a Chia Print Chair for only 1NP that is normally sold for 800NP. It took me 7 tries to get the cheapest price. So don't lose hope in getting items at a cheaper price. By the time you get a hang of it, I bet your favorite keys in the keyboard is F5 and Enter.
Also be careful in buying new items they can be pretty pricy but give it a few days or even months it will eventually get cheaper.
17) Not enough money? Imagine yourself playing a 250 games for 3 times per day I'm dead sure you'll get lots of NPs.
Avies that you also need and still doing SDB. Yeah yeah sure you have tons of things to do like getting those game avies or even those item avies. Would it be better if you do some multi-tasking? Of course. Here are some avies that you need to get and at the same time help you in your quest for that SDB Avie.
1) I'm Smelly - 10 items with 'Dung' in it. Dung furniture. Eww one of the most needed things to get rid of quickly in your SDB. If you have lots of it why not place them in your trades or help some fellow neopians get that Dung Avatar.
2) Mad About Orange - Cute. 8 items are needed to get this. Simple? Yeah.
3) Codestones! - 10 different types of normal codestones are needed to get this. Plus after getting it you can train your pets in the Training School to get a boost in their stats.
4) Snorkle - Snorkle Snout. I know this is an expensive item. But still it can help you get that avie too... ^^
5) Petpets. Yes you need Angelpuss, Drackonack, and others too. It's good to invest on these little critters.
6) Cheese, Garlic, Carrot, Custard, Toast, Achyfi. What do they have in common? Foods and avies. Yummy.
7) Uni shop. For those who can't get enough of beauty products.
8) TCG. There are some avies that you can get too by buying some cards. Just be sure you have tons of money to borrow that MSPP.
9) Blue Evil Fuzzle. Need I say more?
After getting that elusive avatar what will you do to the items?
Some people collect items for 2 reasons. A) For the Kadoatery - Mew avie. B) For the SDB packrat avie. If you are collecting items for the Kadoatery the better you can get rid of the items.
But what about to those who are just collecting junk? Well you can either donate those in the Money Tree or better yet why not sell them in your shop. You can get back the NPs you lost due to collecting items. Imagine you can get 10K or more depends on what you have collected in your SDB.
What about those foods? Well for one you can let your pets eat it. Grarrl would love to eat virtually anything so why not throw him those old boots or even those nasty plushies.
Plushies? A good way to make your pets happy. Just don't let that Blue Evil Fuzzle scare you too. Or why not put them in your gallery and be proud that you have collected quite a number of plushies.
Still can't get rid of the other items because they are books or battledome items? Don't worry, you can read the books to your pets to gain knowledge or if they read that book you can wait till the value rises then you can sell it with lots of interest. ^_^
Battledome items? Keep it or better yet equip your pets if you're planning to challenge Punch Bob, Pant Devil, Inflatable Balthazar or some fellow neopians.
Either way, you can do whatever you want to achieve this avatar. Good luck in hunting those items. ^_^
