When the lupe was born, she already had a brother named Kovi. She was born behind a dumpster. She lived with her brother, her father, and her mother. Her mother always wore leg warmers, and gave the two ones on her back feet to Bleiyre. But silly Bleiyre put them on her front legs instead of her back. But whats the difference? When the lupe was seven, her parents divorced. Bleiyre's father took Kovi with him too the other city, quite far away. Her mother took care of Bleiyre in the same city as always, teaching her how to creep silently, to steal food, how to gain speed then run directly up a wall, etc. She soon learned the streets of the huge city, knowing the safe spots, and the not so safe ones.

One day when Bleiyre was eleven, the two lupes had decided to steal from their favorite place to get food. It was a butcher shop, full of the best meat you could ever taste. But they has to be careful when they went there, because they visited so often. But here is how that part of this story goes:

It was after closing time. Bleiyre and her mother has been crawling through a vent into the store, and had come out in their usual spot, where the butcher guy never thought to look for them. The lupes started to silently gather food, when suddenly out of nowhere was the butcher! Apparently, he had been waiting for them. He leaped out onto Bleiyre's mother, who made a terrified yelping noise. Her mother scrambled and fought to escape, but it was no use. Bleiyre stood horrified, watching her mother fight and waste her energy against the strong butcher man. Bleiyre suddenly snapped out of it when she heard her mother scream, 'GO BLEIYRE, GO!'

Bleiyre shot through the vent like a mad beast. She flew through the vents, and the sharp corners, all the way until she was out in the alley. She shot through the streets at top speed, then ran straight up a wall, onto a roof. She jumped off of the building, onto a trash can, then shot under a dumpster. She waited there, terrified and shaking, for her mother to come find her after.

Bleiyre awoke cold, and in a ball under the dumpster. There was frost everywhere, and it appeared the be sometime early in the morning. Like 4:00 A.M. The young lupe crawled out from under the dumpster, and looked around for her mother. She wasn't there. Bleiyre began to trot through the streets of the city, towards the shop where her and her mother had been.

It didn't take long fot Bleiyre to get to the shop. She looked through the window, around the store. A lady appeared to be haggling with the man. Bleiyre looked around for her mother, when she suddenly saw her in the back room. Her taill attached to a rope. And her hide. The butcher had killed her mother, and taken the hide. The lupe felt a boiling amount of anger and sadness. She didn't quite know what to do at first, but then she realized she needed to find her father. But Bleiyre didn't know where her father was.
