Friends

I meet a lot of people on my travels . . .

Calmwood- I don't know about anyone else, but I find it awfully ironic that an ixi who came about five inches from killing me is now up under the section labeled 'friends'. Turns out Calmwood wasn't such an idiot after all, he was just a little mislead. In the end he turned out to be okay, helping Rita, Iriz, Kyla, Imps, Ghost, and I acquire the charm that regained me my memory.

Rita- Well, since I worked on the others' descriptions recently, I realized that Rita's was kind of lame and short, seeing as she's saved Kyla and I from an uncountable number of very tight scrapes, and saved us from a lot of things, including ourselves so many times in the maybe six months I've known her. She's the best kind of friend, I really appreciate everything she's done for us. She also has to have the most awesome accent on this side of Meridell.

Iriz- Iriz was right along with Rita helping us out. She's a reporter, and you'll never forget it. As a matter of fact, it was Iriz who was onto me first about my hidden past, those reporting skills were what spurred me into admitting that I was a wood wizard in the first place, which no one even guessed until I showed her a little piece of my earth magic which put her on edge until those giant vines grabbed me and then . . . er, yeah.

Ichi- Ichi. I don't know this ixi well either, but she has the power of mind reading and telekinesis, which can be pretty freaky. She seems to find humor in annoying me, like Kyla. Ichi is really tough though, she helped us get so far with the Charm, and she's been really strong, putting up with all that her past has put her through. Admirable, but then her name means 'strong mind' so there you go.

Family-ish Peoples

They're all crazy . . .

We're aren't related, but Wolf takes care of all of us. We all know eachother too well anyway. ^. -

Wolf- Wolf is our "caretaker" legally. She's the one who has to make sure we wash the dishes and laundry, but mostly we don't anyway. She doesn't either. She's a horrible procrastinator, loves art, writing, drawing, BISCUITS, and dreaming. She also loves exploring. She's pretty smart and nice unless she has to wake up early. She's the one to contact if you want to know anything else about us.

Kyla- Kyla is both best friend and family too me. She's like a sister, very annoying sometimes, protective, but a great friend, there when I need her. Kyla has just, always been there. I know literally everything about her, since I was raised by her, and she knows all of my secrets just the same. She saved my life with the gift of (sisterly) love after we both got electrocuted while trying to flee a storm and traveling to reach the Yggdrasil. See her page for details on our epic journey. In short, she is everything to me, I would probably go insane without her. And if she died, I might die of grief.

Tinament- Tina is the closest one of all of us to Wolf, she's been with her for the longest time. She loves the forest and spends hours probing the wilderness for interesting bugs, plants, and mushrooms. She was struck by lightning once and altered with a little of the woods in her. She can now do all kinds of weird stuff like predict the weather, but she's still a big naturalist.

Impie- Be careful, if you don't watch her she might get away with your sanity, Imps has fit in perfectly from the start. Obviously that's because she's crazy too :3 she is, um, like obsessed with my hair. *cough*Crazy*cough*. Anyway. She's fairly contagious and she knows it, she has everyone jamming to her music in the den and generally the whole place hopping. Unless she's in one of her moods when she's getting over a vision and she just retreats into herself. I also owe her my life, when she unexpectedly tackled Calmwood about a second before he killed me.
A note by Wolf: Okay. Well there's a number of interesting things about this relationship. Almost as soon as I was drawing Imps in her finalized design, I was drawing Imps with Blasche. They've had a particularly potent chemistry from the start, and both care for each other so much it's amazing. They've got very complimentary personalities, and they're always joking and messing around with eachother. I'd even go so far as to say that Imps is as close to Blay as Kyla. One is rarely very far from the other, do something to Blay, and Impie will kill you. This is probably due to the fact that Blay is the first friend Impie has ever had.

Magik- Magik. Where to begin. He's a pyromaniac, and has remarkable fire and dark magic skills. He's a creepy dude, a night owl, he loves freaking out everyone with such pranks as making fireworks explode beneath us when we sit down to eat. He's a daredevil and a prankster with a mysterious side. He's supposedly also a dream-walker, which I have no idea what that means. He's hydrophobic as well, and hates getting wet, I think he actually steam bathes to keep clean x3 he and Impie are constantly making friendly jabs at eachother, and like to compete over everything.

Princess Ori- Princess is another new character around here. Her history is a bit foggy, and she refuses to speak of her past at all costs. She's supposedly trapped within the boundaries of the ruins of what used to be her parent's tiny kingdom. I say ruins because, well, it's not really a kingdom anymore at all. As far as anyone can tell, all of the buildings are completely overgrown, the palace a shadow of it's former glory. Not a soul lives there anymore save the Princess anyhow. Or, er, they're all stone. And before you ask IT HAPPENED BEFORE THE FAIRY PLOT DX!!!!

Emily- Emily is yet another new addition to this wacko family, as is everyone listed behind her. She's quite mysterious, no one's quite sure how old she is, she's got a very young, childish way of carrying herself, but she's the deepest, most thoughtful person I know. According to Wolf, she's a soul-seer, which means she can see peoples' souls. I assume this is the reason she acts so withdrawn sometimes. Out of everyone she seems to have warmed to me the most. Remarkable as it seems, she gets along perfectly with everyone, even Magik, who actually acts almost normal around her.

WINTERLOVE- XP sorry, I couldn't resist. Winter is absolutely one of the most insane people around here, but I must say, the craziest ones seem to understand me best. Winter is supremely bubbly and hyper and cheerful and probably the most optimistic person on the planet, she might even beat this Pollyanna chick Wolf compares her to constantly, although I don't know much about that. It's hard not to like Winter in my opinion, but Magik stubbornly insists that being around her gives him a headache. Apparently she used to live in a tropical mountain range on her home island and eat fruit and tuna every day, until Wolf and Kyla met her on the beach. Somehow, despite her short attention span she's the best archer I know after Rita, she can shoot a shark fin in the ocean from a 50 feet away. No I'm not actually in love with her.

Kaehashii- Kaehashii actually beats all of us except Tina in knowing Wolf, they've known each other longer than anyone else. When she was a lot younger she was a princess and lived with a passel of terrible sisters. Listening to her tell it, life was a real power struggle back then. Eventually she grew fed up with the whole lot of her family, and being a princess and fled to the other side of the world in a cargo ship heading across the ocean. She met up with Wolf, who comforted her, fed her, and clothed her, and decided she'd rather be a pirate than a princess. She still is rather quite, and mostly she spends her time away overseas.

Jiedyn- Jiedyn is remarkably an elemental like Kyla and I. She however, was born with this power and she bears it like a curse. She was once as unstable as us, only much younger and without any family or friends to support her. She lived in the back streets pickpocketing, until one day and unusual explosion she accidentally set off when she lost control, alerted a few select people in high places to her unnatural powers. They captured her and attempted to erase her memory, but the attempt failed and Jiedyn broke free. She escaped with the tattoos of the zodiacs winding up her arm, symbols that allegedly help to control her power. She can be alarmingly paranoid and neurotic. Occasionally she forgets things, even where she lives for short periods of time.

Jynxie- Dahling Jynx is the newest ixi here, yet we've already made fast friends. She's got this adorable southern belle accent and if that doesn't win you over, her long eyelashes and doe-like brown eyes will. Also she smells like magnolia blossoms, which has caused the funniest little joke around our household because whenever she passes one of us, Magik and I make a point to sniff her. Okay, well maybe it's just sort of creepy, but that's not the point. Jynx is super sweet, and very forgiving and understanding, she's got the uncanny ability to make your eyes play tricks on you, so she's quite the master of disguise and she can teach you some epic card tricks.

Syymbol- Syymbol is a stuck up snob. What more can I say? He's a royal courier, which means he's not around very often, but when he is, he seems rather apt to brag about his job, his luxurious golden coat, his importance. Impie loves to pick on him, just to see how he reacts, which is to say, he normally storms away until she or Kyla goes to coax him back. He is a bit of a laugh around the dinner table though, when he tells us some of the funny jokes he's heard on his travels. According to Imps, he's a lot nicer to the girls.

Aerzille- Aerzille is certainly a frosty fellow. He claims he's the son of a Valkyrie, which is how he got his "devilish good looks" and "knack for finding unquiet spirits," which is just a fancy way of saying that he finds those who lived noble lives at the brink of passing. He's able to sooth them and comfort them so well it's quite a sight to see. He really seems to get Emily, which is probably some connection forged due to their sensitivity to the souls around them. He is a rather charming fellow, he's got charisma and an eloquence that makes him easy on the ears.

Ki- Ki is actually short for Wonkiest. He's a strange lad indeed. When I say he's out of his mind, I mean that literally, he's a zombie, and he acts like he's mad most of the time. He's got a questionable sense in fashion and is the dreamiest, most scatterbrained person I know, he walks around with his head in the clouds. He is terribly entertaining however, he tells stories in a way that I have yet to see duplicated, he can make even the most boring of events into a hilarious tale that would make even Jiedyn laugh. He can get intense, during moments of high tension, and often gets unexpectedly serious, noticing some undercurrent of strong emotions invisible to the untrained eye.

Fauna- Fauna is a time traveler. She grew up in an age many, many, centuries ago, when people were less receptive to power of the female type, and she finally, desperate to prove herself, tried to take a dip in the river Styx to make her immortal. While the immortality worked, she was trapped there, stuck until she could be freed many years later. We found her still there, kneeling on the edge of a tiny little brook hard to imagine as a river, frozen and unable to move. Kyla, Jiedyn, and I together, managed to free her from the bend in time, but she is altered. Along with being immortal, she is practically impossible to kill, and her skin and hair are bleached white. She's the best fighter I've ever met, so don't get on her bad side.
