Welcome, guest, to my Ultimate Bullseye guide! Firstly, I would like to state that I am not claiming to be great at this game. I am simply writing this guide to help others to better understand Ultimate Bullseye. I think this game is great - it's not difficult, if you know what you're doing, and it is also exceptionally good for earning neopoints. The neopoint ratio is 8.00, meaning that you get 8x the neopoints to the amount of points you score. An average game would give me 50-70 points, which would make me earn around 400-550 neopoints. For the amount of effort required to play this game, that is a very high amount of neopoints. Now, onto the guide.. Aim of the Game (explanation) The aim of Ultimate Bullseye is basically the same as archery. You play as the Turtum controlling an arrow launcher. You get 10 shots to try and collect as many points as possible. Game-Play Now that we know what the game is about, you can start to learn about game-play. Below is a screenshot of the game. (explained below) ![]() 1. This is the scoring bar. There are 10 arrows shown on it. These represent how many shots you have left. The first one has two arrows crossed. This means I missed that particular shot. As you launch each arrow it's place will be taken by either a number, or crossed arrows. The number represents how many points were scored in that shot. The number right end of the bar shows how many points you have achieved overall. Pay no attention to the /100. You can get over 100 points - the top highscore is over 600 points! 2. This is the angle of shot. It can be changed by using the up and down keys. It is suggested that for a low board you have it at approximately 33* from the bottom, for a medium board, 45* from the bottom and for a higher board 66* from the bottom. Dont get too precise - these are just approximate. As you practice more you'll learn basically exactly where to put it for different height boards. 3. This is the power bar. When you've lined up the angle hold space to select how much power you wish to shoot it at. This power bar is very fast, but I recommend you get it anywhere around the middle of the bar. As long as your angle is right this should work, no matter how close or far the target is. Scoring The scoring system is not very complex at all - wherever the arrow lands you get the amount of points corresponds with that position. If it misses the board, or lands on the wood, you score no points at all ![]() Outside Ring = 1 point Second Ring = 2 points Third Ring = 3 points Fourth Ring = 5 points Middle Circle = 10 points* Once you've shot all 10 arrows, your game is finished. All the points achieved are added up to give you a final score. * Are you wondering how you could possible get over 100 points, let alone several hundred (on the high scores)? If the maximum is 10 points per shot, and you get a bullseye on every shot, surely that is only 100 points? Well, if you get a bullseye on your last shot, you get another one, and you can keep doing this until you miss the bullseye! Another (much easier!) way is to use powerups. Powerups Have you wondered how people can get several hundred points on Ultimate Bullseye? Well - the answer is powerups. These are where the real points come in. If you're lucky enough your could get 40 points in ONE shot! Powerups can be obtained by either hitting the bullseye, getting 10+ points using another way, or by using the (one use per game) cheat, catapult. This cheat will give you one randomly selected powerup. The powerup screen will appear between each launch (power up screen shown below). ![]() In the picture above I have the F (flame) powerup. To use it it must simply be clicked and then it will be used in the next turn. There are 4 different powerups. P, F, B, and C. F (flame) - the flame powerup is one of the most helpful. A ring of fire will appear, at any height between then launcher and the target. You must get the arrow through the ring of fire. Hitting the pole supporting the ring will count as a miss. If you get the arrow through it basically doubles the points recieved wherever you hit on the target. For example, if you hit the bullseye you will recieve 20 points (which will also give you another powerup). Hitting the ring surrounding the bullseye will also give you another powerup (and 10 points) ![]() Flame Powerup P (punchbag bob) - the punchbag bob powerup is the greatest powerup in my opinion. The target will be replaced with punchbag bob for one turn. You must aim for the apple on bob's head. Hitting the apple, in any location, will score you 20 points! However, hitting any part of punchbag bob will be counted as a miss. ![]() Punchbag Bob Powerup B (bigger?) - this powerup doesn't offer much help, but it's better than nothing. The bullseye will increase in size, then shrink in size, quite quickly. You want to aim to shoot at around the time when it's just about to increase in size. ![]() Bigger Bullseye Powerup C (close) - this powerup offers literally no help at all. All this does is bring the target closer to the launcher for one turn. This messes up the angles and power greatly, and can be incredibly frustrating. Combining Powerups Well, I suppose you're wondering how you could score that whopping 40 points in one turn mentioned above. The answer is simple. Can you see the solution? What you must do is combine powerups. Basically the only helpful powerup is the Punchbag Bob + Flame powerup. THIS is how you can score 40 points. Get the arrow through the ring of fire (double points), and on the apple (20 points) and there you have it! Other combinations include: Flame + Bigger Bullseye Flame + Closer Target Bigger Bullseye + Closer Target Punchbag Bob + Closer Target Punchbag Bob + Bigger Bullseye (?) NOTE: if you mix two of the same powerup they will be distributed over two goes (eg, two P powerups will put a punchbag bob on two goes in a row) Trophey and Avatar If you are good enough at Ultimate Bullseye you may be able to achieve a very nice trophey, or a shiny new avatar. ![]() ![]() ![]() To get a bronze trophey you will need to achieve around 350 points. To get a silver will need to achieve around 400 points. To get a gold trophey you will need to achieve around 480 points To get this shiny Ultimate Bullseye Avatar you will need to achieve 225+ points. That is the end of my guide. Thankyou for reading! I wish you good luck with Ultimate Bullseye in the future, and I hope my guide has helped you towards your goal. Have fun! |
