-Swimming - Cause everyone loves jumping into that freezing cold water and screaming your head off as you get used to the temperature. No?
-Collecting gems - They glisten with 7 colours. Enough said.
-Learning about magic - Whats better than sitting down infront of the fire reading your favorite book?
- Crabs - They are cute ok? They have little beady eyes. Even if they do nip at your ankles when youre swimming...
-Tropical climates - Sunbathing...in the caribbean, with crystal clear waters, icecream...and those cocktail with those cute little colourful party umbrellas you get with them ^^ This is paradise.

Companion

I've considered quite a lot of the maraquan petpets but none stood out as much as the gallion. Mainly because ive never owned a gallion, and they are so much fun to draw. A Maraquan Gallion has vibrant colours, is a dragon like Evarise and just looks darn cute!

After Eva got Muunna for christmas, Muunna had never left Evarises sight. People always say people always act like their pets, and the pets start to look like their humans (or something like that :D) and well these guys are a perfect example. Muuunna even sleeps in the same bed as Eva and Sharaqyn...
She seems to think shes a dog for starters. What else are you supposed to feed a pet dragon? Eva just feeds her dog food...and the occasional felix cat food. Oh and not to mention she likes to steal Evas staff and run around with it, dribbling on it. Oh but hey! Its all cool! Evarise loves rolling around on the rug next to Muunna and often gets on all 4s and pretends shes a cat so Muunna can chase her...

Overall, Muunna is a small , lazy , overfed dragon. She only uses her wings when /she/ can be bothered. And thats usually to get the cookie jar from the top shelf where Shar hides it. Muunna loves the outdoors however, and simply loves the rain.
SHE SAT OUTSIDE FOR 5 HOURS IN THE RAIN ONCE! Me NOR Shar could get her in cause we hate the rain! Stupid animal. Yes, Eva, we know... ;-; You love her really though right? I mean... what a christmas present...
...At least she doesnt breathe fire. Thats all im saying...*sneaks off with Muunna, 10 seconds later* OH WHOS A GOOD GIRL. YES, YES, MUUNNA IS.

Design

Im going to be honest,it was a challenge designing Evarise. But thats a good thing, like any other character I draw, it takes a few attempts to get it right.
I would like to direct you to my art page where I have the old pictures of Eva. The top one is the first ever picture of Evarise ^^
As you can see from my first few...attempts...Evarise had spikes on her back. I didnt like this design because I didnt find it "elegant" enough. After roleplaying with her the first time, I found that I had developed her character to be quite graceful and vain. The spikes made her seem too agressive. I then decided to design her as a plain maraquan draik. After years of drawing neopets, I had always stuck with drawing them the same old design so they looked like the actual pet. But I wanted something new, so now im satisfied with this design ^-^. Which I have to admit is my favorite, since im able to adapt it to neopets AND my own style of drawing for roleplaying.

Evarise is mainly in anthro form, like the rest of my characters.

She wears a long silk royal purple dress which draws inwards below the hips. I decided to use a base skin colour of a beige colour because its like the maraquan draik. This keeps the look of the draik, but is also a colour that goes with everything, for example the purple dress. This is a bright colour, which Eva loves.
Her hair is long and very pale yellow,straight, with a light curl on the left side. She wears a blue flower in her right fringe.
The staff and collar were passed down from her mother. Made of real diamond, she never goes anywhere without them.
Her staff controls her transformations, abling her to be able to swim underwater. She cannot swim without her staff.

There are subtle details on Evarise that I simply love. The markings below her left eye is one of my favorites. They match the markings on her legs, and they are delicate, which reflects her pretty, elegant personality.

Theres one more part to her design I mentioned back at the very start, in the story. Its called her battle form. I also just call it her dragon form.
This design is for when Eva gets angry, upset, scared or tries to protect her loves ones. She cant control this transformation. The power comes from within her necklace and staff which gives her the power to change into a huge dragon. After transforming back however, she can hardly remember anything, and sometimes completely forgets shes transformed in the first place.
The basic design to this new form is practically the same as her normal dragon form which she changes into when she goes into water. However there a few minor details that have changed, and although subtle, I think they reflect the fact that shes got a new personality and you dont want to mess with her xP.
From the picture you can see her wing span is different, and has a new design. There are clear visable scales on her wings that are actually pretty sharp. They are there to offend /and/ defend. There are also larger spikes coming from the folds of her wings on the inside. These are aerodynamic. You are gonna have to fly pretty fast if you wanna get away from those demon hunters you know! Her head gear is another feature ive added. But not too much armour is needed I dont think cause I didnt want her to be a robo draik XD Her claws are also more powerful, aswell as her underside, which instead of rounded plates, has spikey ones.

Future plans

One of the main reasons I enjoy neopets so much is that I have my own characters to try to make into pets. This means I have a lot of drawing to do.
Youve probably already gone through my art page, but if not, its in the quick links to the left ^^. I love drawing my own characters in their rolplay style AND as neopets. Its sometimes fun incorperating the two together.

Usually, I draw in anthro form but sometimes I get inspired to draw chibis, since theyre so darn sweet.
In this application, you have seen all sorts of styles that I draw in, and I have pictures all over my lookup and petpages/petlookups. I love drawing for the art gallery, and have won twice on my old old old account, painloveloss, and once on squishyhug. Its really hard getting into the art gallery, and its upsetting when you see its been updated, but theres no amazing 10mil prize in your inventory, but when you do get in...its there forever, and its amazing.
Entering Evarise into the art gallery would be new, since its not really for a persons pet, just general. To know that EVARISE is in there with her design, and not just any old maraquan draik would make me proud c:

Beauty contest...lovely stuff. Its fun drawing your pet, its fun winning...but its the advertising that is frustrating. Either because you dont have enough time, or no one votes! However, Ive entered before, and I would be so happy to do it again. Currently, only one pet has won so far, and thats Miaka with a gold trophy. Ive entered Teal twice...but no trophy has been brought home D:. Im saying all of this, and people might think im some sort of trophy freak who wants their account to look sparkly...but Im not. I actually have minimal trophies because its not my sort of thing.

I hate to repeat myself, but having roleplay characters as pets inspires me to do more on neopets. Each has their own personality, and although my family is vast, each has a developed story which intertwines with another character.
Evarise is no different and has fitted in really nicely into my stories. Im not good at writing, so I wont be writing stories for her on her actual lookup, but I have the basic outline figured out and me and Alex are willing to spend much more time roleplaying with both Eva and Shar to develop their stories further.
I really enjoyed writing the story for Eva in this app, it actually made me think of more ideas (such as the battle form) and I love how Sci and Sadi have a really good character, thanks to Eva, as before they were fighting my characters for no reason.

As you already know, Evarises petpet is Muunna, the maraquan gallion. I think the idea behind Muunna is unique, because she changes from a maraquan gallion, into a faerie gallion (water to air dragon) for either Shar or Eva in battle. I love Muunnas personality, which I find in roleplays is rather difficult to portray, since half the time the pets dont actually talk XD. My pets on my main account all have zapped pets(apart from Curses) at the moment ( I always like to try my luck) And I love the petpets Charm and Curse have, because it suits them basically. Curse has a Biyako, which is like a leopard, and it looks fierce, which is like her boyfriend, Light :D. Curse has a cute lil yooyu, which matches her customisation, and just reminds me of Vic XD.
I have different ideas for my petpets. Sometimes, I like to make them have their " other half" as a petpet, and sometimes If they have a pet in roleplays, I save up for the corresponding petpet.
Oh and just so you know..ive never been a fan of petpetpets; I cant afford half of them XD

Because Eva is a maraquan draik, and maraquan pets cant wear clothes, I found it ...easy...to customise her. o.o Yeah thats right, I dont usually like clothing on pets, since it covers up their patterns. So no worries there! Its a shame about handheld trinkets and some small accessories though. I would have LOVED Eva to be able to wear this:

However, I love this customisation I have plucked out for her simply because everything matches! Right down to the sunrays which you can barely see in the picture. The beach represents where Evarise loves going aswell as it being where her and Shar first meet. The quill and book is one of my favorite NC items ever, and since she has loved spells from a young age...why not get her one? I can purchase NC, and often do. I love customising my pets with nc, since there is such variety compared to neopoint items. However only my main account pets have nc items,(bar Maiden) since I rarely buy the actual cards, meaning I cant trade and I cant get giftboxes = I cant transfer items to my side.

If I adopt Evarise, I would love for her to be transfered straight to my side, Lowflyingmunchkin.
Side account!? Oh no v_v. Well seriously, dont worry. This account is used A LOT since its the account I can use to go to the almost abandoned attic. Its always active, and has no less attention paid to it than my main. It has a lookup and everything ^^. I actually mainly buy neocash online_ which means I can simply log into my side and purchase 500nc for £3. Bargain! I would be able to buy all the nc items I just stated above, and have some left over, just incase!

Squishyhug

Buffy is a strong, fiesty 18 year old girl with a big mouth. She is a demon hunter, alongside her boyfriend Con. She is always determined and dedicated, taking pride in herself, and is always loyal to her friends. She can be a bit stubborn and is very gullable. She was one of the first pets I made on squishyhug, and is currently my lab pet. I havent found a pet that suits her well /yet/. She was a darigan Ixi, but I thought they looked too evil, Buffy...is not evil. (:

Charm is an gentle, carefree angel, married to the worlds creator, Vic. She is also his protector. In her spare time she learns spells , and never goes anywhere without her mini spell book (:. She loves crafting new staffs for herself, and often does engraving on demon hunters swords. Charm was created and painted royal girl kyrii on the 11th July 2010. Im very proud of her customisation, Im always looking for new ice/cloud like items to give her ^^

This active, hyper young girl is Teal She is from a vast (rich) family to be honest...has nothing to do with these demons/demon hunters XD. I love Teehl as a character, but shes from a completely different "set" of characters which me and my boyfriend first started roleplaying with. She has a very close bond with her brother, they never fight..weird huh? Teal is an honest, open minded 17 year old who loves girly things... makup, hair, nails. You name it. On neopets, Teal was a gift from Alex. He painted her plushie from his FFQ on 1st May 2010 (:

Curse is known as a shapeshifter. She can transform into a leopard and back again with the click of her fingers...unlike her mother. Curse is Eva and Shar's daughter, enabling her to change her form like them. Curse has a boyfriend called Light, who is an assassin. Along with Buffy, Con, Vic and Charm, these guys hunt demons. Curse is rather active and healthy, but very clumsy due to her hyperness. She often changes into a leopard for fun to chance yarn , and curl up next to light on a cold winters evening. But most of the time its for serious demon hunting, when everyone else is using weapons to blow them up, Curse choses the more full on approach and loves to get her claws bloody.

Maiden is a witch. Simple as basically ^^. She is amazing at spells, but not so good at potions... After poisoning Tsuki trying to make him human, no one trusts her to even make dinner.
She is a very relaxed, energetic, childish girl in her early 20s. She has always longed for a pet dragon, but Meph wont let her ;-;. MagicMaiden was dipped in the magma pool as a hissi. She was my first pet on one of my side accounts to get a full nc mall customisation *cheer!*

This 500 year old vampire is called Miaka. She is a strongwilled, determined, smart girl. After going out with Con and nearly being killed by him, Miaka turned to her evil side which she tried so hard to keep hidden. Her mother is a human, bitten by dracula, making Miaka only half blood, she finds drinking blood digusting , but like every vampire they need blood at some point. So she often relies on Tsuki to give her a small monthly dose of blood from himself. Neopets wise, Miaka was my first painted pet, woo!. I morphed her mutant on the 5th December 2009.

Oh well hello there earth scum. You come to make fun of me? Its not easy being locked up ya know? Maybe I should set my werewolves on you, then you wont be laugh---
UGH. Satan! Crawl back into the ditch in which you came! Sorry about that. That was Satan. Nasty peice of work, rather sarcastic, but...quite nice when you get to know her. After being the old ruler of earth, and being overthrown by Vic, she was banished to the underworld and forever plots her revenge. She is married to Zulpher, and has a right hand man, Meph. She often goes into breakdowns, in which she comes up with some monsterous scheme to take down heaven.
Im currently saving up to paint her darigan wocky. I had a tough decision between halloween ixi and darigan wocky. But I prefer wocky because of the long horns, and big wings :3

Lowflyingmunchkin

Sci is a powerful sorcerer and has caused earth to fall to its lowest, when he killed off every hunter AND Vic, leaving only Satan and Charm to do the clearing up and reserect everyone. Sci is worse than Satan, hes pure evil and only loves 3 things in life. Sadici. Evarise. And his spells. Him and Sadi have a weird relationship - they find it fun to torture people and make them lose their minds. Sci has even been known to make someone tear their own soul in half. He had been imprisioned in the void for centuries, after he teleported Sadi and Eva to saftey in the future. Scitasa was actually the only pet ive ever obtained through the poundchat. Whereas all my other pets were created and painted by yours truely, Sci was adopted out to me on the 6th July 2010 (:

squishsqueek

This is Con, an outgoing, intelligent 25 year old demon hunter. And one of the best. Employed by Vic long before he met Buffy, he vowed he would kill Miaka, after he believed she had killed his father. Cons mother was killed when he was only 1. Cain, his father then had to take care of him, and at the age of 18, gave con his first weapons to hunt. Con is the newest member of my neopets family, and I wish to morph him mutant kougra.
