About Us

Neopound is a huge adoption center and Neopets fan community. If you are advertising pets up for adoption, looking for a pet to adopt, need an application critiques, or just want to chat with people who love to talk about pet adoptions, Neopound might be the place for you!

History

Neopound was originally an adoption agency for a guild called Project Painted Pets. Due to some issues, Project Painted Pets was shut down. However, since the database was so large and very efficient, the Adoption Guild Alliance (AGA) was formed so that the database would not go to waste. The AGA used Neopound as a shared adoption database. Today, much of the AGA is well... not alive. However, Neopound as both an adoption database and community has still survived!
(We presently only have one guild for NeoPound as a whole, but joining is optional.)

Anyone can list their pets as up for adoption on our database, regardless of whether you join our guild or even participate in our community. So, if you want to attract more attention to the pets you have UFA, we are happy to help spread the word about your adoptions!

Neopound Community

Neopound's community is mainly dedicated to pet adoptions. Not only do we advertise our UFA pets and talk about our applications, but we also talk about ourselves, our neopets, and whatever else. We are a largely creative community with many artists, writers, roleplayers, and coders. Overall, though, we are just a friendly and helpful bunch who appreciate Neopets.

Application Critiques

Interested in getting your pet application critiqued? Well, that's just one of the many things our community has to offer! Stop by one of our boards on the Pound Chat to request a quick critique, or try our forums for a longer, more detailed review. While we only do app critiques on our PC boards, at our forums we also offer a variety of other things!

Art and Writing

Our community offers an environment that encourages the arts. We often have art and adoptable trades, art requests, and just show off our latest artwork. And this isn't exclusive to just drawings. We also have a place to show off writing and for role-playing!

Coding Help

Many of our members like to code their own pages and lookups, and have plenty of coding knowledge they'd be happy to share. Feel free to stop by our graphics board to get help for all your coding needs!
