concern regarding another member of our guild,
PLEASE give us the assistance needed to address

1. NO BEGGING ("just asking" for ?)
Our "Sharing Is Caring" NeoFRIENDS Guild is about
sharing info & friendship ~ NOT about 'getting FREE stuff'.
If you are here JUST to get (FREE) items
YOU'RE IN THE WRONG GUILD.

1a. *I'm on a Quest* EXCEPTION
Members are allowed to post in guild requesting
QUEST Assistance
as long as they follow these guidelines:

COPY & PASTE the quest info on Guild Message board,
to display which quest you are on.
Do NOT post or neomail asking someone
to GIVE or GET you the item.

Giving Assistance:
Please help by posting list of shop(s)
that has needed item in-stock.
OPTIONAL:
Any member may gift the needed item, if they so desire.
Please post message stating item has been sent
to notify everyone that it has been completed.

IMPORTANT
If two or more needed quest item has been received,
you MUST return the extra item(s) to donor.
Please do not ask "may I keep" or tell recipient they
may keep any extra quest items received.
WHY?
Sorry, but from our guild's past experience
this is necessary to prevent any possibility
or perception of "scamming for profit" efforts.
Thank you for your cooperation.

WARNING:
If any member is found to be receiving & keeping
multiple quest items after requesting assistance from others,
we reserve the right to permanently ban that member.
This is considered a form of scamming
and as such, is a reportable offense.

2. ADVERTISING
Our guild does allow reasonable & limited posting to
promote or advertise own personal wanting to
buy-sell-trade or shop, trades, auctions.
Please do not spam the message board with advertisements.

3. NO Promoting another guild.
That includes: on or in your User Lookup pages,
Shops, Trading Post, or any other location.
NOTE: Also see Rule #16, for more details.

4. NO COVER UPS
on UserLookup Pages.
Having vital User Lookup information missing or hidden
on your account is AGAINST NEOPETS RULES!!
Therefore it is also against our Guild Rules.

All vital information is to be viewable, such as:
Name, Gender, Country, Started Playing,
Shop, Guild Info, Last Spotted
('stealth' status is allowed)
Pets, Trophies, etc.
~ or you may risk being banned immediately from the guild.

Want to know why?
This is a common trick done by SCAMMERS!!
Not a scammer?
Then why would you want to give others
the impression that you might be?

5. NO 'PROMISES'...
Do not promise that if someone
buys/gives/does/donates to/for you
... you will ???
This is AGAINST Neopets Rules!
That includes anything that is offering or implying
the offer of a 'game, contest, lottery, drawing, etc',
~ no reference to 'winners, prizes, etc.'!

ONLY guild COUNCIL members are allowed
to offer PRE-APPROVED guild activities.

Only exception is our 'SNAG' offer activity,
which any member, ranked FRIEND or higher,
may offer as long as they follow the
SNAG RULES.
(see "Guild Activities" Section for details)

6. NO SPAMMING On Message Board
A. Messages should be 'just fun and/or informative',
NOT 'short senseless/pointless/annoying messages'.

Posting numerous short messages within a
short time span is NOT an acceptable method
of bumping up your message count.
Such practices will only delay your rank increase.

NOTICE:
Do NOT post numerous short messages,
one immediately after another,
within short time span.
*** Referring to the messages that could &
should be "all in one" post ***
Council may opt to excuse such posting, occassionally.
Otherwise, such posting may be cause to receive an
official reminder or warning from council for spamming.

NOTE: Occassionally, we have all made the error
of a 'double post' ~ a repeat of same post.
Not to worry!
No need to post a message about it,
a board monitor will simply delete
one of the repeat posts, once it is discovered.
PLEASE do not spam board by posting
an apology or notice about the accidental double-post.

WARNING:
Anyone caught spamming continuously, will have their
posting privileges suspended until further notice.
Any form of spamming also puts you at risk
of having your membership deleted,
allowing you to rejoin guild,
in an effort to reset your post count.

B. If your message contains any rule breaking info
-it will be DELETED.
(Neopets deletes many of them, too!)

C. Messages that include
any 'inappropriate' or naughty words
and/or subject matter
(religion, politics, 'real life issues', etc.)
is against Neopets Rules & WILL BE DELETED.

A friendly reminder will also be neomailed
from a member of council to ensure our members
understand the Neopets Rules governing such matters.

Hint:
A good rule of thumb is if your
subject matter is not something you'd
share with a 5-yr-old, it is best not to discuss
(post, neomail, etc.) within Neopets site either.

If you have ANY doubt as to the appropriateness
of your subject matter, best NOT to post it.
Even though it may be harmless in intent
~ such postings lead to NEOPETS 'strict rules' being broken.

WARNING:
ANYONE who posts any 'offensive, rude or insulting',
messages WILL be BANNED immediately!
ANYONE found to be harassing members or COUNCIL
will be banned~no excuses, no exceptions.

D. Do not carry on "exclusive, private" 2-party
conversations within the guild message board.
Instead, neomail each other.

7. DONATIONS
Donations assist the GUILD in obtaining needed items
for guild shop restocking
future gifting efforts to our members and
other "guild related" needs
as deemed appropriate by council.

If you choose to make DONATIONS to your guild,
you are agreeing to allow items/nps to be used
in any manner deemed useful to the guild at the
sole discretion of guild's COUNCIL members.

At NO TIME are you to assume or expect
your DONATIONS will earn you anything,
or give you any personal advantages or gain.

Your donations are just that *DONATIONS*
~your personal support given to your guild
of your own free will.

8. Members' BIRTHDAY
& Membership Anniversary
Members may post their OWN
birthday on the Guild's Calendar.
We'd like to be given the opportunity to
celebrate your special day with you!
(see "Guild Activities" Section for complete details)

Please do NOT post someone else's birthday
on the Guild's Calendar.

NOTE: Only other information that members are allowed
to posted on Guild Calendar are their
OWN personal Guild Membership Anniversary
Only Guild Council is allowed to post
other dates & Neopets related-info.

Please do notify a member of council
if your country is celebrating a Holiday
not noted on our calendar.
EXCEPT those that
are "political or religious" in nature,
and would be against Neopets Rules
to be discussed on site.

9. MEMBERSHIP PACKS
Membership packs are against NEOPETS rules,
therefore are not offered.
However, we usually do like to celebrate
our members reaching their FRIEND rank
by *usually* sending them a few gifts,
but are NOT promised.
All members are encouraged to gift to each other,
any time for any reason, too.
Note: if a member is demoted,
they do not receive gifts again for reaching
the Friend (or higher) rank again.

10. MEMBERSHIP RANK INCREASE
Basically membership rank upgrades or changes
are decided upon by COUNCIL.
Rank increases are NOT made by request.

DO NOT ever post in guild asking about or
complaining about your rank status.
If you have any concerns or questions,
those should be neomailed to

How to improve your chances of RANK increases:

As rank titles would imply,
it is more about "friendship" and
giving fellow members/council,
the opportunity to know you as
someone they can truly call a friend!

A. Posting NON-spamming messages.
SPAM actually reduces your chances for increase,
may even have your posting priviledges suspended
or possibly have your membership DELETED.

By posting messages you help us to get to KNOW YOU...
things you're enjoying about Neopets
and/or guild... fun stuff!
Feel free to post helpful information and tips, too.
DON'T BE SHY!!
This guild belongs to YOU and ALL members.
By being an active participating guild member, you will
increase your enjoyment of both your guild & Neopets.
Remember, we're all NeoFRIENDS here!

B. Participate in guild activities.
Not necessary to do them all, just enough to be active!
Help us to know that YOU REALLY ARE HERE with us!

Don't be a GHOST just haunting ~ come out and PLAY!
Okay... we know how it is, it's scary at first...
but just know, you're NOT alone and you are wanted!

C. To be an ACTIVE member for a
MINIMUM of 6 to 8 full weeks.
Consistently being a respected, active
and recognizable member is the key!

11. MEMBERSHIP RANK
DECREASE and/or DELETION

Membership Post Requirement:
Post NON-spam message(s)~
to be considered an active member!

*MAKING FRIENDS* membership cancelled:
1) Have been a member for 4 weeks or more
with ZERO messages posted.
2) Have been a member for 2 months or more
with less than 6 messages posted.
3) Have obviously SPAMMED the boards
to obtain high post count.

Rank Demotion or Membership Cancelled:
If "Last Seen" date on UserLookup page is over 60 days.
If set to STEALTH for premium user accounts,
strict posting requirements will apply.
OR
Have been actively on Neopets, without posting
in guild within last 30 days.

OR
Have been habitually "inactive",
unrecognizable "ghost" members.

It doesn't take much time to post at least
once every week or two, which shows
that you do actually enjoy your guild membership!
If you're visiting guild, LET US KNOW!

Maintaining Rank Requirements
for FRIEND or higher ranks
Rank demotion if last post was over 30 days.

NOTE: These are just some guidelines...
Council has final decision for managing memberships
& subject to change without notice.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE:
If you know you'll be gone for an extended time
(on vacation for example)

IMPORTANT
Since no one wants to be in an over-populated
and/or inactive guild, it has been necessary to CANCEL
membership for consistently INACTIVE members.

We all understand, there are times
that it's not possible to be as active as desired.
However, if consistently a member isn't visiting guild,
or interacting with fellow guild members ~
WHY BE A MEMBER?
Hence the need to delete habitually inactive members.
Try to post at least once a week or two,
but not less than once a month
(hopefully, you'll visit guild daily when possible)
and you should be able to continue your membership.

Unless you have been PERMANENTLY BANNED,
you may REJOIN if your membership has been:
A. deleted due to 'inactive status',
Neomail turtle_express or helpful_blinkibu
to request a guild invitation to rejoin.
However, if you are not active,
you may be cancelled AGAIN!
B. deleted for excessive spamming,
you are welcome to rejoin as long as you follow rules.
This keeps your post count an HONEST number.

before their username on Guild's members list.
Will also have FOM banner on Guild HOME page,
linking to their userlookup page.

FRIEND 4 LIFE
This rank is a well-deserved honor for
well-known & recongizable members.
This will be given, by Council vote, to those
outstanding members that have been consistently
active, supportive and have earned
the "Best Friend" Rank FIRST.
Note: habitually in-active "F4L" may be demoted a rank.

BEST FRIEND
This rank is reserved for consistently ACTIVE members.
Must be a member for a MINIMUM of 12 weeks
before being considered for this level.
If spamming or inconsistent activity,

FRIEND
This rank is reserved for active members.

15. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

One of the advantages of being a private guild
is to help protect our members from scammers.
We've had problems in the past with people joining,
using more than one account to join our guild,
under pretense of
being 'another, separate person'.

NOTE: For purpose of our guild,
when *WE* (not TNT) refer to:
A) ~ "multiple accounts", it means
One person having more than 1
account within our guild.
B) ~ "multiple account abuse", it means
ONE person joining guild with 2 or more
of their accounts under "false pretenses".
Usually done under pretense of
being a "friend" or "family member" when
in fact it is ONE person posing as said person(s).
This is done with intent to SCAM our members.
YES! We have had this happen TOO MANY TIMES,
and it may take days, weeks or MONTHS
to gather enough evidence as proof of this,
then it is REPORTED!
Many have had one or all their accounts frozen
once TNT verifies the information.

WARNING:~ "Multiple Account Abusers" are
sooner or later discovered,
are then permenantly banned from guild
and were/are REPORTED to Neopets.
Many had ALL their accounts
frozen for their scamming efforts.

NOTE: We do NOT have a rule against our members
having more than one account in the guild.
Everyone is counting on honesty & integrity from YOU!
No one wants to be friends with a deceitful person, right?
Especially OUR generous & caring group!

So, if you have (or wish to have)
more than one account in our guild,
PLEASE neomail information to:

We do not have any rules against having

please note we have no issues with
other guild council members being a

1) Not to have banners, promotions
of OTHER guild within your account
which has MEMBERSHIP within our guild.
2) If you are using a side account as
your guild membership main account,
to abid by TNT rules governing
what is & is NOT allowed
to do from your side account(s).

If you wish to participate in guild activities,

1. SNAG
A snag is just a method of encouraging posting & to have fun
learning more about each other within our guild.
A great idea when the message board
is unusually quiet, not very active.

Gifting to those posting replies
to your "Snag" question(s) is completely optional.
Snag gifts are just that... GIFTS!
They are not prizes! Please do not refer to them as such.
It is NOT to be a 'contest or game' ~
other than following the 'SNAG REPLY' rules,
there is no right or wrong answers.

1a. SNAG RULES
First watch, read & learn how others offer
successful SNAGS before offering one of your own.
If you have any doubts about your SNAG subject,
neomail a Council Member with your snag idea
FIRST to ensure your SNAG subject is within Neopets Rules.

Before posting your SNAG, check if there
are any current SNAG pending.

Limit your snag up to
a MAXIMUM of SEVEN members
OR
a reasonable time deadline.

NOTE: Only Council has option to leave their
SNAG open for longer than a 24-hour period.

By following these guidelines you will

2. Members' BIRTHDAY & Membership Anniversary
Members may post their OWN birthday on the Guild's Calendar.
We'd like to be given the opportunity to
celebrate your special day with you!

Please do NOT post someone else's birthday
on the Guild's Calendar.

NOTE: Only other information that members are allowed
to posted on Guild Calendar are their
OWN personal Guild Membership Anniversary
Only Guild Council is allowed to post
other dates & Neopets related-info.

We encourage members to celebrate birthdays
& guild anniversaries with fellow members!
Why not post a nice "Happy" message wishing
your fellow members all the best
for their "special day"?

It is not a requirement or an expectation
*nor should any member expect otherwise*
to have gifts sent to those celebrating
a birthday or guild anniversary. However,
it is such a very nice, thoughtful thing to do!

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
In the past, we have experienced numerous
scammers that will join our guild, post a birthday
date only a few days (2 weeks?) after signup.
This scam is JUST to receive gifts from
our GENEROUS & considerate members.

After taking advantage of our members' generosity,
they leave guild to JOIN ANOTHER GUILD
~replaying this SAME scam AGAIN.

Therefore, we have found it necessary to RECOMMEND
that members NOT send out any gifts
to those that have not been an active member
for a minimum of four weeks.
However, you are free to use your OWN best judgement.

Sorry, that this protective measure means a
few HONEST & truthful members may not receive gifts,
but then again...
you're not here for freebies, right?

3. GUILD CELEBRATIONS
We try to have Guild Celebrations once per month,
usually coordinating with a Holiday.
Read messages on the guild home page
AND the message board,
to keep current on what's happening in the guild!

4. 1np Auctions:
When Guild hosts 1np Auctions,
responsible council member will coordinate
with other council & volunteering members
to sponsor 1np Auctions.
There are a limited number of sponsors allowed,
members with rank of FRIEND or higher
may volunteer to be a sponsor unless all openings are filled.
PLEASE do NOT host your own
1nps Auctions during our Guild activites.

4a. 1np Auction "NeoFriends Only" RULES:
It is each guild member's responsibility to ensure they've
requested Neofriend Status with our pre-approved
auctioneers. It is wise to do so PRIOR to the start
of 1np Neofriend Only Auctions.

AUCTIONEERS
If you receive a neofriend request,
verify that they are a current guild member.
You are required to accept neofriend status
from guild members ranked 'Friend' or higher
if you are a sponsor of our guild's 1np Auctions.
If ranked below 'Friend', acceptance is optional.
If any questions or concerns,
neomail a Council Member.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
A common dilemma that happens when sponsoring
1np "NEOFRIEND ONLY" Auctions is, suddenly,
you'll receive numerous random neofriend requests.
Sometimes they assume that it's for guild members only,
receiving a surge of guild invite requests, too.
Do not accept or invite during our Guild Celebration.
Their only desire to join or become your neofriend
is for your 1np Auctions.
Not our ideal-type of person, right?

Here's some tips from me, BLINKIBU ~ your guild founder.
Hope it's as helpful to you as it has been for me!

Everyone tells you 'play games' ~ yes!
That's good for pure profit
~ only cost you your time.

How about restocking your shop &
finding bargain items for resale?
Noo... you aren't doing that?
Ooh, that's a really good way to make nps too!
It's how I got started and have done VERY WELL!
Contrary to the concept to be the lowest on Wiz
~ it's not necessary!
If you want to restock tons every 15 minutes or so
~ yes! Go For IT!
Just find your balance in pricing & restocking time
~ time is MONEY...
(errr... NPS ... yeah, that's right!)

HERE'S THE VERY BEST TIP!

Do you INVEST in the Stock Market?
No? WHY NOT?!!?
This is one of the best means of
making additional nps ~ in MY opinion!
Doesn't take much effort at all
~ just buy & occassional review!

Stock Market QUICK TIPS:
1) Limited to buying 1000 shares per day,
buy your FULL 1,000 shares DAILY & EVERY day.
If you don't, when it comes time to sell & you see all those profits,
you're going to say OH I WISH I HAD MORE SHARES TO SELL! :O
2) Not allowed to buy those valued
under 15nps per share,
preferrably buy at 15 to not more than
17nps per share.
(BUY LOW, SELL HIGH!!!)

3) Set a "TARGET SELL PRICE" ~
I started off with 100% increase,
example: bought at 15nps, sell when value reached 30nps per share.
Within a year of investing, I learned that wasn't enough profit to keep me satisfied.
I since changed my target sell price to be AT LEAST 250% to 300% increase!

4) Diversify!!!
Buy different stocks, min. 500 share each is my recommendation.
Try to have 15 or more DIFFERENT stocks!
NOTE: I have over 40!

5) BE PATIENT!!!
Sometimes taking MONTHS for it to reach "target sell price".
Seems to go thru a 'buyers market' and a 'sellers market'.
Then again, I've had opportunities to more than
DOUBLE my investment within a day or two!

I've kicked myself for selling too early!
After waiting 6 months or more for ANY increase,
finally seeing an increase, I'd sell at 27nps per share only to watch it go up
to 70+ in the weeks *sometimes DAYS* there after!
Had 7,000 shares of one that I sold ALL when it hit 30-34nps,
only to watch it go well over 120nps per share.
Hindsight, I should have sold some, saving shares for even higher value.

6) When you sell, RE-INVEST!
Build up your PORTFOLIO
~ the more invested & diversified your portfolio
~ the happier you will be with your investment options,
and profit margins too!

More STOCK MARKET Advice:

I like to keep at least a minimum of 1 share of whatever I've
bought & sold, so I may easily watch the market from my porfolio page.
Sure makes it easier to watch what becomes 'buyable' to me again, too.
Seeing it on my portfolio list, saves time in buying again ~
especially when you have over 40 different stock options, like I do.

Don't PANIC...
Are many of your stocks "in the red", valued at less than you paid?
Yes, it's typical to watch your stocks drop BELOW 15nps,
I currently have 18 different stock investments well below
the purchased price of 15nps per share.
My lowest is sitting at a value of 6nps per share.

NOT TO WORRY!
There are only TWO ways to LOSE nps in the stock market:

1) If the company goes 'bankrupted'.
I've been investing since August 2004.
I've only seen ONE company go bankrupt

I've seen it happen to a stock valued at well over 300nps per share
~ then one day BOOM! ZERO!
*** Bankrupted ***
Those shares not sold prior would then be 100% loss.

2) Selling your stocks BELOW your purchase price
~ DON'T DO IT!!!
This is where patience pays off!
Wait until it increases to your set 'target sell value' ~
I'd recommend 30nps or HIGHER!
I'm currently holding out for 280% increase or MORE!
Selling half my shares at the 280% or higher,
keeping at least 1000 shares for 1000% or more.

My Stock Market Profit Report:
Started investing in August, 2004 ~
didn't keep records of my stock sales until end of 2005.
NOTE: Profit = stock sales - cost to purchase sold shares
Just think... that means I not only received PROFIT neopoints
but also those neopoints PAID to buy those sold shares!

2006, 12 months PROFIT TOTAL: 4,141,704 nps
(sold at est. 35 nps aver. per share)

Then I began tracking more details concerning my transactions:
2007, January thru June
MID-YEAR PROFIT TL: 7,878,526 nps
226,989 shares sold during these six months
(sold at est. 50 nps aver per share)
***Aver. 34.7 nps PROFIT per Share
***Aver. 15.3 nps COST per Share
226,989 @ 15.3 nps COST = 3,472,931 invested nps returned!

Biggest tip I can share is this...
Be patient, think of it as a 'long-term savings account' of sorts ~
buying your 1000 shares daily & consistently.
Don't get discouraged!!!
I almost gave up too!
Instead, I just invested & diversified even MORE.

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, and watching your investment REGULARLY!
Market values are updated every 30 minutes.
Sometimes jumping up quickly, and back down quickly, too.
Just do this along with your daily task efforts
~ just don't over check, driving yourself CRAZY!

I've noticed it does seem to go thru a cycle of
a 'buyer's market' or 'seller's market' ~
Look at the 'everything is sooo low in value' as the time
to build up your strongest portfolio possible.
Then, when it becomes more of a 'sellers market' ~
(things are looking very good!) ~
that's when you'll be happiest that you did all that investing!

FINAL WORD OF CAUTION:
DO NOT post in guild or neomails any suggestions as to what
SPECIFIC STOCKS others ought to buy or sell.

Neopets looks at that as 'insider trading' type of action ~
a form of manipulating the market.

UPDATE: It had been reported in past NT Editorial that
TNT has changed how stock market operates, so there are
no method to manipulate the Stock Market as a player or group.
