Cassandra Creed stood in the rain. Her filthy yellow hair fell over her cat eyes. She began to walk forward towards the building. Out front it said: Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. She thought about her past... *flashback* "Daddy don't go!" She yelled and clung to the large mutant's leg. "Cassy, I have to go.If I don't leave I won't be able to feed you. I'll be back soon." the mutant said, his voice soft. Tears welled in Cass's eyes. "Come back soon." she whispered. the large mutant laughed and scooped her up in his arms. "My little daughter don't worry." *end flashback* "He came back alright...." Cass said aloud. *flashback* "Where are we going?" Cass asked. the large mutant sighed. "Another mutant said he would help us." Cass stood there dumbstruck. "We...we...have to leave?" She asked. "Yes." the mutant replied. "come on we only have a few minutes." *end flashback* Cass sighed. Now here she was. Walking in the rain because her father told her to run. Here she was on the doorstep of her father's enemies. Cass sighed and knocked on the door.... She finally thought of the day she was born...all she remembered was gunshots and yelling. She had been born into her mutant condition that day of blood. She looked woefully at the door, half hoping no one would answer...Not many answered when Nightmare came to call. She was a shapeshifter and could also manifest someone's worst fear in front of them. She pounded again upon the door. The rain soaked her to the bone. She was wearing a white tank top and old green combat pants. She raised her wings and tried to shield herself. her taloned feet and hands were growing dangerously numb. She thrashed her tail in annoyance and roared.
