INSTRUCTIONS!

So You Want a Transmogrification Potion?
Well you came to the right place! Today we will be making two separate little things. One Will be a Scorchio Transmogrification Potion, the other will be a Fire Jug!
and

These are really REALLY simple to make and there is hardly any effort involved at all!, All you will need for the fire jug is a small "potion bottle" Which you can get at any craft shop or in most craft sections.
We will start the guide off with the most simple one to make which is the fire jug.
You will need a "potion bottle" like the ones below:

Some water

and a drop or two of red food coloring!

First take the cork or stopper out of your bottle and put a few drops of water in.

Put 2-3 drops of red food coloring into the water

Then put the cork/stopper back in nice and tight so the water doesn't spill out, and shake it 'til your hearts content!
And there you have your very own fire jug!!

Now lets get to the serious task at hand, the Scorchio Transmogrification Potion. Just a warning you will need to use an oven for this one as we will be using baked clay. So you may need an adults help with part of this project.
We will be using one of the larger "Potion bottles" for this project because it will be easier to attach things to. And make sure that your bottle is made of glass or some other sort of pottery, not plastic because it will melt in the oven if it isn't made out of one of those materials!

You'll also need some clay that you bake in the oven,

some turquoise paint and tan paint
and
A small tipped paint brush to get into those tiny spaces

And some water and a paper towel to clean your brushes.

First step is to get your bottle and a small amount of clay. Make sure that your hands are clean!!!

You wont need much clay but it's better to have a little extra than not enough!

Now we have to start forming the parts to stick on the potion. We will start with the scorchio belly. First take a small ball of clay and flatten it against the bottle. Making it look like a belly.

Then take a needle or other thin long object and make a line around the "belly

Now onto the wings. Take a small ball of clay and flatten it out. Pinch it to make three points on one side and so that it looks like a wing. Do this two times making sure the wings are mirror images of each other (or as close to mirror images as you can get) and press them onto the back of the bottle. Set the bottle down on a flat surface to make sure the wings are not too big, but still touch the surface.

Make sure to smooth out any joints of clay so your potion bottle doesn't look too bulky, and that the "back bone" is wide enough to attach a small handle.
Roll out a small worm of clay and flatten both ends and attach them to the back of the wings smoothing out the joints of clay.

(sorry for that blurry image, my camera just plain refused to take a non-blurry shot of the handle. But you get the drift of it don't you?)

Now you need to do the tail. Roll out a thick worm and taper off one end to fit under one of the wings and around the back. Smooth out the clay joints and wrap the tail around the bottle making sure it is pressed against it firmly but no so hard that you flatten it.

take a few really small balls of clay and press them onto the tail for the "spikes

Now you need to bake it. Depending on which kind of clay you have the time for cooking it may vary, there should be instructions on the package of clay though. This is where having a grownup may come in handy, please don't attempt to bake anything or cook anything in a hot oven OR in a hot stove without a grownup present or if you are trusted by them to do so on your own!!!
Preheat your oven to the recommended time on the package and then place your potion bottle in an oven save dish to bake for the recommended time (be sure and remove the cork before baking!). Make sure not to overcook your clay or it may become brittle and break. IF part of the clay falls off of the bottle don't worry, it is easily fixed with a small amount of craft glue after the clay is baked.

After it is done then remove it from the oven and allow it to rest and cool for a few minutes. If you are in a hurry then you can place it in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.

I took mine out and let it cool on my desk…. If you move it right out of the oven be sure to not touch it as it will be hot!

Now you're ready for painting!!!
We'll start with the tan paint. Paint the belly and the inside of the wings, then be sure to rinse out your paint brush so your next color doesn't run!

Then it's time for the turquoise paint. Paint the tail and the back of the wings, as well as three lines inside the wings. Start from the back behind the bottle as far as your brush can reach in the gap and draw one line up to the top point, do the same to the center, and the same again but to the bottom point of the wing.

FRONT BACK

Then you need to paint the bottle it's self. I find it easier to stick my finger in the top so that way I don't get paint all over myself lolz! Paint the bottle the same turquoise color as you did the rest, it may take 2-3 coats to make it as dark as the rest. Don't worry about the inside of the bottle or the bottom as you wont be able to see either.

Let the paint try for 10-15 minutes, pop the cork back into the bottle and VIOLA!!!! You're finished with your very own Scorchio Transmogrification Potion!!

Alternatively if you were looking for an actual Scorchio Transmogrification Potion or Fire Jug you could do one of the following things:
1. Go to the Trading Post and search for Scorchio Transmogrification Potion or Fire Jug
2. Try your luck restocking at Kauvera's Magic Shop
3. Search on the Shop Wizard
4. Or hope to get the rare random event where Sloth gives you a random transmogrification potion

I hope you enjoyed my little page! Please be sure and pass it around!!! XxXxX Shady♥
