Hello guest welcome to the Games Board F.A.Q. If you have a question about a game and no one is answering you, hopefully this will help you. If you can't find the answer here, then neomail me and I will try my best to get you the information you need. Use Ctrl+F to find what you need and Ctrl+D to bookmark this page. General Game QuestionsQ: What are the best games to get Neopoints?A: Ok, first of all, just go to the Games room and start playing, not only will you figure out which games are fun and easy for you, but after playing a few of them you will have quite a bit of money. If you really need a specific amount of points by a certain time then try some sponsored games or you can look for a Nps guide here. Q: What is the best way to make some fast and easy Neopoints? A: Again, this is a game that TNT hopes you will be playing for a long time, just like in real life, it takes a while to build up neopoints, you can't expect to make a million overnight. Just like real life, Neopets isn't easy. Q: When is reset night and when are trophy's awarded? A: Reset Night is when TNT clears all of the games score, not your scores, but the scores on the High Score Table for each game. It happens on the first of the month at around 11:50 pm NST. (Ok, so it is 10 minutes before the first of the month) That time is subject to change. It has been different times before, but that is current. Trophies are awarded EVERY day except at the reset time. They too are subject to change. The time for them is 10:50 pm NST and you have to be in the top 17th position at that time to get the trophy. There is an exception of a few games to this fact. Q: Got any game guides? Do you know where I can find any guides for the games? A: My_First_Little_Pony a whole list of all of the games on the site with guides for each one Q: Argh! I managed to get that huge score that will earn a trophy, but it didn't send?! It's a shockwave game. A: Most likely your score went to review by TNT staff. Shockwave games do not have the 'review' message built in, they will show the 'problems sending score' thing. You can check if it really went through by looking at the Number of scores sent today. If it went up, all is well and you just need to be patient Q: Do you know where I can get any tips for any of the games? A: Actually the best place to get any 'Tips & Tricks' for any of the games is to ask at the Games Board who else better to tell you the in's and out's of the games is the game players themselves. If you can't find anyone to help you, then try here Q: Any other places that I can find info on the games? A: Yes, you can use your favorite search engine and look for guides. Q: When I played a game I got a score so high that they said it will be reviewed, what does that mean and how long does it take? A: Basically this is TNT's way of checking for cheaters. If you didn't cheat then you have nothing to worry about. When it is accepted depends on when you got the score. If you get it at night time on a weekday, then you have to wait for them to get back to the office the next day, so a few hours. If you get it on the weekend, then you have to wait for them to get into the office on Monday before they can do anything about it. So for example, if you get the score on Sunday night, then you have to wait for them to accept all of the other reviewed scores first. IF you are in trophy position on the same day that your score is accepted, then you will get your trophy. Q: What can you win from the World Challenge Pieces? A: Paintbrushes, petpet paintbrushes and petpets usually. http://www.neopets.com/~_knight_dog_ - list there Q: How can I figure out the Games/Neopoint Ratio? A: To find the point you need for earning 1000np you divide 1000 by the ratio. If you get a specific score multiply that by the ratio and that's what NP you'll get, up to the max of 1000. There is a max amount of neopoints you can get from the games of 1000 nps. Except for the Daily Featured Game which will double them and give you 2000 nps max. UPDATE: TNT is changing the Game Ratio's every month on the 25th. For an updated guide with the current ratio's click here. Q: I have a quest and I need help! I got some Faerie asking for an item, what do I do? I have a quest and I don't know where to get the item. A: Ok, first things first, there are two different types of quests. There are Random quests and Timed quests. The way you can figure them out is how did you get the quest. Timed quests are when you go to them and they ask for items and then give you a time to get it back to them. Illusen's Glade, Jhudora's Cloud, Island Kitchen, Edna the Witch, Brain Tree and such as these are examples of Timed quests. Random quests are the ones that you get as you are going thru the site and they come up like a Random event. These quests are not timed and you have all the time in the world to finish them. There is also another difference in Timed and Random quests, Timed quests you CAN use the Shop Wizard, and with Random quests, you CANNOT use the Shop Wizard. But how am I supposed to find the item if I can't use the Shop Wiz? Try asking nicely at the Quests board, that's what they are there for, to find you the item and get you the best price for it. For more detailed information on the individiual quests, try this guide. Q: I spent five hours playing a game and the score didn't send what happened? I started playing a game at 11:45 pm NST and I didn't finish until after midnight NST, why didn't my score go thru? A: Ok, TNT-The Neopets Team fixed it a few months back that you can't play a game one day and then send the score the next day. In other words as soon as you open that game window to start a game, you have to play it before 11:45 pm NST so that the score will go thru. Q: How can I find 'Cheats' or 'Codes' for the Games? A: Ok, now please do not write me telling me that Cheating is bad. I know that it is and it will get you frozen too. I am talking about the codes that are written into the games by the programmers to give a little boost to the games and 'help' you out a little. If you need a list of them then try this page or this page. Q: What happened to the sponsored games that I have been playing, why are they disappearing? A: TNT has a contract with certain companies to host games with their names on them, these contracts must come to an end and make room for more sponsored games. For an updated list of them, go to this page. Q:Why can't I find the Sponsored Games in the Games Room? A: If you can't access them from there, then try this page. Q: How can I find out the scores needed for the different levels of the games? Example-Beginner, Amateur, Novice, Expert, Master, Grand Master A: There is an updated list here. Q: I know the name of the game, but I can't find it? Help! A: If you have already played it once, then it will be in your Games Scores list. If you haven't played it before than go to this page and see if you can find it listed. It may also be in the Games Graveyard, which means that you can play it, but you won't get any nps for it. Q: I have no trophies, where can I get easy ones? A: Easy Trophies: cellblock, pyramids, solitaire, Mystery Pic, Lenny Conundrum, gogogo, cheat, snow wars, neoquest 1 & 2, punchbag bob. A: Try this page for info or use your favorite search engine to look for a guide. Q: What games give items and/or nps? A: Scorchy Slots, Dice a Roo and Gormball. Q: How do I play the Stock Market? I don't understand the Stocks, can you help me? When is a good time to sell my stocks? What stocks are best to buy? A: Ok, first of all, Buy Low and Sell High are the two things that you need to remember here. The second thing that you need to remember is Patience. The Stock Market is a waiting game. It could take up to several months to see a rise in anything. Buy your stocks daily and diversify. Buy them at 15-17 and sell them at 30 and more. Here are some guides that will give better detail. Stocktycoon and Stepchild. Q: Why won't my pet play any games? Why does it say that they are bored? A: Your pets can get bored with some of the games if they play it too long. They will stay that way until midnight NST when the new day resets. And sorry, there is nothing you can do to change their minds either.
