(You cringe.)
Eh, it's okay. I'd rather rule with fear and power, instead of lineage, although I seem to have both... you see, I was born a princess.
It failed. Miserably.
My father had been expecting something like it for some time, and when I did attempt, he met me at the front gates with a stern expression on his kingly visage.
Before anything else could happen, war broke out. The Maraquan War, versus a gang of particularly malicious pirates, that I assume everyone knows about. My father, along with many other Maraquan sub-Kings, were summoned by King Kelpbeard to help fend off the attackers. Of course, if he went to war, then he couldn't keep an eye on me. And that was the last thing he wanted to do. So, my father, the Island Peophin king, with his shaggy brown mane and fierce eyebrows, sent me off to a castle secluded corner of the Neopian Sea under heavy guard. There I remained, my guards entrusted to keep me in the castle until my father returned from war.
He never did.
I developed a great arsenal of magical skills during those horrid years of royal imprisonment, not limited to simple magics. In the castle, in my many hours of boredom, I went to look in the library - and what did I find? That all those 'banned books' regarding magic that my father had outlawed... well, there was a whole stash of them here. Good for me, bad for dad.
Eventually, I mastered shapeshifting. That is a skill that unless you're born with the ability, is near impossible to learn, much less use with ease. Shapeshifting was the key to freedom. At the highest point in the castle tower, I shifted into a Uni. It had taken me much practice to get used to moving with hind legs instead of a tail, but eventually I was able to. Walking a tad stiffly down the tower stairwell, I adjusted Glamour to make myself appear to be a Uni scuba diver who had gotten lost. Complete with the snorkel set and tourist camera. When I reached the front gates, the guards inquired why I was here - and I replied that I had gotten lost. Angrily and impatiently, they shooed me out and pointed me in the direction of Mystery Island.
From there on, things are pretty much self-explanatory... except for.. some things. That I will not explain. About the others... I found Mystery Island too noisy and garish, the island rituals stupid, and where was I to go..? The Other Side, of course. Most Neopians don't dare come here because it's not officially on the maps, and there's no major attractions here or anything...
I may elaborate on my story.. someday. But not now.

Art_Image_Thieft (user) : FROZEN. Heck, Neo already wiped all of the person's files off of Neo, the username doesn't even exist. I have screenshots though.
Baelorian (user) : UNFROZEN. Dude... Baelorian is a character I created, me alone. Just as I've once requested someone else to please not name their petpet Janishta, I don't want to see anyone other than myself using the names of my characters. On this person's lookup she calls herself "Lori." I have no problem with that, but the fact that she named the same as my Peophin is a problem. 'Baelorian' is not what you'd typically associate with someone named Lori.. let me explain. Lori's name originally stemmed not from Lorian, but Bael. I had to make her name more feminine so I added -orian on the end. I seriously think the user 'baelorian' is copying off of me, especially, if you check her user avatar, it's the Pile of Ashes avatar that can be obtained from the petpet lab ray. The significance of that? It's grey. Just like my Lori.
