Deep within the earth, the last thing you need to be afraid of is the darkness. The thick cover of shadow protects you; it hides the fatal mistake of being there in the first place.

Deeper down, the air, which becomes exceedingly sparse, clings to the walls of the caverns and weighs down your lungs. It becomes heavy, pressing you, constricting you, as the earth closes in.
But the narrow maze of corridors do not often claim victims...

The water, a blessing in the sunlight, is a curse in the depths. It drips down through the silt, sand, and soil, washing the toxins of mankind into earth's abyssal crevice. It is a wonder anything can survive in such pollution. Down here, pesticides become fertilizers, twisting and altering the fate of all life. Once innocent becomes evil; straining and deceiving to hold onto the light.

For it is the light that gives you power.
In this darkness, it is the light that you must fear.
