Font Types:
- You may want to rephrase the first paragraph to "Here are the 7 main types of fonts. I will introduce you to them and give you tips on how to create them.
- You may want to change the button link to a text link. It makes the page look more professional.
- You may want to rephrase "The most amazing symbol source" in Symbol Fonts to "The best symbol source
- You may want to rephrase "Sometimes huge block fonts are impressive but when posting with them they can get a bit obnoxious, at least in my opinion.
So I usually use size 1 monospace for mine." in Block Fonts to "Sometimes huge block fonts are impressive, but they can also be a bit obnoxious. I would recommend using size 1 monospace to create this font.
- You may want to rephrase Simple Word Fonts to "Simple word fonts are probably my favorite. They consist of a few words and symbols. They are commonly made with a double underline and a macron ( ¯ ) which can be found on Holly's symbol page. I usually use a heart with these, but you can use any symbol that fits with your word.
- You may want to rephrase Symbol Fonts to "I use symbol fonts for avatars with many colors that do not blend well.
You can use neopets smilies (which I rarely do unless it fits the avatar colors very well), symbol patterns, or random symbols.
For symbol fonts, color is the key to making it look nice.
- On Fade Fonts, pixelly should be one word.
- On Name Fonts, you should take off the first sentence.
- On Lyric Fonts, "that" should not have slashes () around it, and "same-ish" should just be changed to "same".
FAQ:
- I have rephrased most of your answers to the questions below.
- Question 2: "Mistral. I use it often because it is my favorite, and most people request it to be used in their font.
- Question 3: "You may! Personalize it as much as you want. I actually encourage this because I believe this helps you to make your own fonts, and there are not enough fontmakers out there. However, until you make your own font from scratch, you still must credit me.
- Question 4: "You may as long as you do not claim any awards given or take credit for the fonts."
- Question 5: "Neither. A link back is appreciated but not necessary, and credit would look strange in the font unless you made it invisible. However, that is not necessary nor expected from you. All I ask is for you to say that I made it.
- Question 7: "I definitely could, if you fill out the form when requests are open." (NOTE: You have closed requests before more than once, so you should take the last sentence off.)
- Question 8: "Sure, just don't get crazy. Especially, do not request more fonts than your neoboard pens allow you to have.
- Question 12: "I am surprised I actually get this question. I cannot pinpoint my inspiration, but ideas for different fonts just end up popping in my head at random points in the day. I also get inspiration from you guys ~♥, especially when you send in font requests. Sometimes I go through periods where I don't make picture fonts, and when someone requests a picture font, I make some more. Other times I cannot think of quotes, but someone sends in a request with a quote that inspires a different quote. Requests aren't just for the person requesting. For me, they help a lot. (:
