What thing is this d y i n g slowly?
Firmament wore a corset of ebony, pinned by celestial bodies and their wan attempts to illuminate the sable night that held the world enthralled. Amongst wooded area, shadows deepened letting imaginations run rampant with things lurking within. Trees stood like lone sentinels, entombed in night before that rocky outcropping and the single creature there. However, things had a way of preventing the isolation so many sought, as a figure detatched itself from the shadows whence it came. Swathings were the colour of moon glow, the argent of his being seeming to catch sheens of light transpiring from the heavens above. Upon his back resided a pair of accoutrements that were laughable. The wings were stunted and deformed, as though they had not been allowed to bloom according to the lupes growth. And through their membranes were tears and rents. These two facts presented the truth that they would never support the weight of the creature who possessed them and thus would never fly. Visage was a stoney mask, no emotion to be found therein. Facets set into skull were like the eyes of the denizens of Hell. They lacked any discernable pupil and iris, were a solid black hue that filled those voids. He possessed the eyes of demons.
