Item Lending

Item lending is available to guild members via the council. Technically speaking, lending is between you and the item owner (not you and the "guild") because the collective guild does not own the items being lent. Only reusable items are available for lending. Please review the Rules and Guidelines, as well as the Borrowers' Requirements if you are looking to borrow without full collateral.

Rules and Guidelines

You must be a member of Avatarlog - The Guild in order to be eligible for avatar item lending.
All requestions and correspondance about borrowing/lending items should be done through neomail. Please neomail the current lending council member to request a lend. Currently: musiclives2001
When neomailing to request a lend, please include
- the name of the item you wish to borrow
- any collateral you have available
We'd prefer that you only ask to borrow one item at a time :)
The borrowers' requirements listed below are guidelines, and not concrete rules. The council can lend outside of those guidelines if we feel that the member is deserving through his/her activeness and contributions.
By using this database and lending system, you agree with the terms to return the borrowed item. The items are not for you to keep. If you refuse to give back the item or do not compensate in case of lost/missing item, you will be reported for scamming. See NT Issue #218 for details.

Items Currently Available

The accompanied "requirements" are guidelines for those wishing to borrow with partial collateral.

aqua class (~up to 50k)

These items tend to be readily available and generally less expensive. These items are most often lent out to members who wish to get the avatar on a spare account (as many members already have these avatars!).

We recommend being in the guild for at least two weeks, with 140+ avatars and 20+ posts. Time limits are in place to prevent a rise in guild hoppers and possible theft.

BRONZE CLASS (~50k to 100k)

We request the borrower be in the guild for at least three weeks with 165+ avatars and a recommended 50+ posts.

SILVER CLASS (~100k to 800k)

The borrower must be a guild member for at least four weeks, with 190+ avatars, recommended 125+ posts. No collateral is needed, but it is recommended :)

Icy Snowflake

GOLD CLASS (exceeds 800k)

For these particularly rare and expensive items, a potential borrower must have been in the guild for at least seven weeks, with 215+ avatars, 200+ posts. In addition to the above recommendations, those wishing to borrow without full collateral will be asked to supply partial collateral of approximately one half of the item's current market value.
