Welcome! This is KAC WEPHAC (Koryzio's Adoption Center : Where Every Pet Has a Chance), an adoption centre for rare and exotic species, painted pets, and very strong pets. This allows many people to adopt their dream pets, without the expense of paying hundreds of thousands, and even millions of neopoints. Best of all, it's completely FREE (excluding what the Neopian pound costs you)! Is your dream pet not here? Tell us what you want and we will let you know when we have one or know of one that is available.

To adopt a pet, you must make an application. This is when you make a pet page for the pet you wish to adopt. You then send the link for the application to the owner of the pet and they can see what the pet's future pet page may look like, and decide who will get to keep the pet. Before building an application, read the rules, please. Yes, we can tell if you haven't read the rules... trust me. At least we could, until we made them tons simpler... Okay, you don't really have to read them, but you're only hurting yourself if you don't. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the owner of the pet. If the pet's current owner is not Captain Koryzio (accounts are Zippo92740 / Captain_Koryzio / snow_tastes_good), have a look at that pet's current page by clicking on them.

We work hard to make our adoptees happy here. All pets here have had their happiness risen, items equipped to them, their energy and their health restored, and some even have rare petpets! Our staff works very hard to ensure that our pets here are nice enough to have someone want to adopt them, and we'd like to see you work hard too, in requesting these pets. Unfortunately, if a suitable owner is not found, the pet will be rezapped and put down from adoption again.

I work fairly hard in trying to zap these pets a nice colour, but I don't really have much time to get them petpets or train them anymore. This agency is hard work!

These pets have already had a rough time in the pound, and have had a painful time during which they were labbed (it dramatically reduces their happiness). We want to find them owners who will take care of them for the rest of their lives and never pound or lab them. Are you a future owner?

Important! Some people may think that it's not fair that you have to build applications if you want to adopt, since some people aren't good artists/page-builders. It is very fair, actually, since usually if people aren't good at art, etc., they are super gamers and are given much more time on the internet, and so can easily earn about ten thousand neopoints a day. Adoption agencies are for those who don't get much time on the internet and so can work on the computer making their application without being connected to the internet. If you would like the pleasure of knowing that you have the pet of your dreams on your account, you will have to work hard for it first, whether in adopting him/her or painting/morphing the pet. Of course it's easier getting them through an adoption center than it is through gaming, so for those people who just aren't as creative, we have some cheaper coloured pets that are up for adoption that are much easier to get (see Building Your Application). We aren't going to leave out anyone when it comes to adopting a pet, but we will watch out for those who put effort into their apps.

To adopt a pet, you must make an application. There are two kinds of applications: #1. petpage apps, and #2. mail apps. The correct kind of application wanted for the neopet is stated in the pet's status below their picture and name.

#1. Petpage Applications This is when you make a pet-page for the pet you wish to adopt; the same pet-page you would have for that pet if you already owned them. What you do is type up the HTML on your computer, then paste it into one of your pet's pages. You then send the link for the application to the owner of the pet and they can see what the pet's future pet-page may look like, and choose the best owner for the pet. If the page is good enough, it is accepted. But if it does not fit the requirements, it will be rejected. If your app has been rejected, you still have another chance to fix it up and resubmit. When I have come to a conclusion, I will contact the chosen owner and give details about how we will transfer. Before building an application, read the rules, please. As well as the normal rules, there may be extra one's. These are listed in the pet's information in this booklet. If the pet is not on Captain Koryzio's (accounts are Zippo92740 / Captain_Koryzio / snow_tastes_good) accounts, have a look at that pet's current page by clicking on them on our homepage, or contact Koryzio (see contact info).

Get creative; the more stuff on the page, the page, the better. You can put on images, stories, poems, pixels, history of pet, and just about anything you want, but you must not copy them from other people! And be careful, since if you've got too much stuff on the page, it will look too messy and points are taken off. #2. Mail Applications These are a lot easier to do, though most people won't accept them. Only certain pets in our agency will accept them. These don't have to have any fancy HTML in them, just text. Then they can be neomailed to the foster carer.

These are really the only real rules that you need to pay attention to. Aw come on! Did you really think we'd make you do all of the ones we had before? You must be joking!

• Must do something with your new pet once you have him or her safely on your account! (Examples are entering them in contests, making a petpage for them, making a guide on their petpage, writing stories about them, giving them a personality, RPing them, BDing them, or anything else that helps you interact with your new pet!)
• Can't adopt pets that are limited edition, over level two, or are any other colour than checkered, blue, brown, glowing, green, invisible, orange, pink, purple, red, shadow, silver, skunk, speckled, split, white, or yellow, if your account is younger than four months. We will be willing to wait if you seem like a really good owner, though.
• Don't disown one of your pets to adopt one of ours! You can transfer your pets around, to your other accounts, but abandoning/neglecting them is cruel.
• You must understand that you might not get the pet once they're in the pound. Nothing is certain when it comes to transfers.
• Don't ask for lutari! It's IMPOSSIBLE to transfer them since they cease to exist after being pounded. Also, don't ask for ice bori since they turn turn into blue ones after they hit the pound!
• Do not steal art/layouts or say you made them! Don't use any images/layouts without the artist's permission, and if someone helped you make an application or layout, give credit where it is due!
• No chatspeak or 1337 please! And begging is bad too.
• Do not offer to buy any of our pets! Even after you get the pet, if you send us a 'thank you present' we'll only send it right back, so don't do it! If you offer to buy a pet, it's very likely you'll get frozen!
• Enjoy making your application!

These are a few of the things that will greatly increase your chance of being chosen as the pet's new owner. That little extra effort could make all the difference between whether you are chosen as a new owner or not! Of course there are many things that will get you brownie points, but these are just some of the most important to us.

• Promising to put a link to Kac Wephac onto the pet's lookup and petpage will greatly increase your chances of being chosen as the new owner, as it shows us you're really trying to help those poor pets that need homes.
• We'd appreciate it if you told us if you plan on painting, morphing or labbing the pet in your application.
• I generally ask for either neomail or petpage, but when I ask for just a neomail application and someone hands in a petpage application, I tend to choose them as an owner straight away, even if the app is only a page long.
• If you are a writer, you could just write a story about the pet and forget about anything else if you like. It's the same with artists and poets. I can tell when people put in effort, even if there's only one part to the app.
• Giving the pet a distinct personality is a definite plus! Try to make it unique and outstanding. And you can even write a short story of how this new pet will interact with his or her new siblings when they arrive in their new home.
• You can make up your own 'Pledge of Good Ownership' if you'd like. TNO has one if you already know about them, but having your own one or an abridged version to suit you will get you even more points.

These rules are extra that will apply for certain pets, depending on their rarity. Any pets that have extra rules on them will say so under their pictures and names, so do not pay any attention to these rules unless their numbers are repeated in the pet's information.

• #A00 ~ This pet must go onto a main account. No side accounts no matter how active they are.
• #A01 ~ Once adopted, this pet must not ever go to someone else! They must be given back to KAC WEPHAC if you cannot keep them anymore.
• #A02 ~ The pet must go to an account that is older than eight months, instead of four months.
• #A03 ~ Any future plans for the pet? Them me about them.
• #A04 ~ You must have some art and a background story on this pet's application. The more drawings, the better!
• #A05 ~ Say in your application what all of your accounts are, with links going to them, and tell us whether you have ever been frozen. If so, why?
• #A06 ~ Must have MSN, to apply for this pet. It's free to download from the MSN website and it helps to get the pet through to you safely. Neomail takes a few seconds to work, so this is much safer.
• #A07 ~ Give us some good reasons for why you want this particular pet.
• #A08 ~ Make your application funny, please. Add a comic strip as well. I really don't want to read this pet's whole application if I'm not going to get a good joke out of it.
• #A09 ~ Tell me about the pets you already have. Make up a story to show how they will react to this new family member that you are applying for.
• #A10 ~ You must be familiar with the quick-adopt link, and have had transfer experience before with some painted, limited edition pets.
• #A11 ~ Your account has to be pretty active. If you're not on Neopets at least twice a week, sorry, no pet. He/she needs lots of attention, and an owner that's willing to give them that.
• #A12 ~ This pet should permanently stay with you on your main account. If you adopt this pet, and then decide you don't want him/her anymore, then you must transfer them back to us, so we can find them a better home. Do not give them to anyone else, and especially don't just randomly pound them!
• #A13 ~ No pre-made/recycled layouts!

Remember: If you break the rules, whether the normal or the extras, we can prevent you from adopting one of our pets ever again! Don't start freaking out yet if you accidentally broke them; just explain to us what happened and we will justify whether you broke the rules deliberately or not.

The Pets for Adoption

Yippee! And now, the moment you've all been waiting for... the pets themselves. If there doesn't seem to be many pets here, well that's because we haven't had many colour changes at the lab yet. If you'd like to become one of our labbers, please see "How You Can Help". If you'd like to see your competitors, you can go to the pet's lookup for a list of all the applications received so far and the applications we're waiting for. You'll notice that some of the pets have petpets next to them. Well, these are the petpets that come with the pet when he/she finds a new home, but take care, because if you take the petpet away from your neopet, they will turn into snowballs or tennas and won't change back to what they were before! All pets that can be adopted by an account under four months old are marked with an asterisk (*) next to their nickname (pet name).

Len has a few nice stats and would make a good pet for the beauty contest if you know how to draw, both because lennies are one of the easiest species to win in, and if you can see past her 'ugly' look (as so many people call it) and bring out the beauty in her using a custom look, it'll attract a lot of people's votes. I'm not expecting much in an application for her, because of her name, maybe just a personality and future plans. Whatever you think she's worth... (And note that 4 usually is 'A' and 1 is 'I' in chatspeak so her name reads 'Lennaia'.) Note: She's being kept on my sister's account, so there'll be nothing on her lookup to say she's looking for a new home, but she's still up for adoption.

Note: He's being kept on my sister's account for the time being, so there'll be nothing on his lookup to say he's looking for a new home, but he's still up for adoption.

Q.) May I apply for more than one of the pets in Kac Wephac?
A.) Certainly. There's a better chance of getting at least one of them if you apply for all of them at once isn't there? XD But that doesn't mean you're going to get all of them though.

Q.) May I use an old layout or application style that I used once before on a pet of the same species/colour?
A.) Yeah, sure! There's no harm in that for most of the pets here. Some pets may however need an original page so that will be stated in their information if so, but I highly doubt any of them will need a new layout.

Q.) Can I have a paint brush?
A.) Oh yeah sure... if YOU pay a reasonable price for it that is. Don't ask ridiculous questions, haven't we done enough for you by making this agency? If I had an unlimited supply of paint brushes, Zan would be painted pirate, Troodon would be electric, and Misty would be painted faerie, as well as having many other pets.

Q.) Can I adopt [NAME OTHER THAN WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE] please?
A.) Sorry, any pets that are not listed in 'Pets for Adoption' are ones I plan to keep, and are listed here. If they are listed on neither this page or that one, then feel free to neomail me about it or wait till I update the pages.

Q.) You're mean! I'm going to report you for not giving me all your pets!
A.) That's nice. Go have fun.

Q.) Can I paint/morph/lab [PET NAME HERE] after adopting him/her?
A.) As long as you ask us beforehand or state it in your application exactly what you plan to turn that pet into (but if the pet will be a lab pet, just state 'will become a labber')! We want to keep track of everything!

Q.) What's the deadline?
A.) This is the day when no more requests for that pet can be made. This is when we begin deciding on a new owner. If no one has requested the pet by this time, they go to the One Weekers for the week to find another owner, and if that fails, they have to be re-labbed. *shudders*

Q.) The deadline's not long enough! I'll never finish my application in time!
A.) Calm down! All you need to do is let me know you are applying and I'll be more than happy to wait for you.

Q.) If I give you a sludgy/snowball/tenna to attach to [pet name here] can you lab them, please?
A.) Well, we don't have the petpet lab ray at the moment so we can't, but if we do, then sure! Just remember though, that the petpets can can destroyed in the ray, but if that happens, we'll replace it for you! Remember that some pets will come with labbed petpets anyway.

How can you help? Well, the obvious thing is to advertise our agency in your shop, on your lookup, etc., but we'd appreciate you not putting the pets themselves anywhere.

Don't forget to vote for Troodon the Jetsam, Molidor the Peophin, and _Alhearah_ the Eyrie in the BC! Oh, come on, I had to put it somewhere on this page, so why not in "How You Can Help"? Oh yeah, and as an extra note, don't even think about it if you think it's going to get you a pet! IT'S NOT!

Lab Ray Log

This is where I have all my lab ray use recorded. If you are trying to save up for the laboratory map you might find this helpful, but remember that everything is completely random and there's no guarantee that you will get the pet painted a nice colour or species. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a specific species or colour (I have never heard of anyone getting a krawk or draik). Disclaimer and Other Notes: I CANNOT and WILL NOT guarantee that you specifically will be selected for the pet you apply for. Once the pet is in the pound, we cannot guarantee you will get it! It is there for anyone to adopt, but you can be sure that we will do everything within our power to get the pet safely into your account. We don't want them going to an unsuitable owner any more than you do. This is a non-profit agency, we don't accept neopoints/money for pets, as it is against Neopet's Terms of Services, not to mention that bribery will get you nowhere, except frozen.
The only neopoints spent on EITHER of our parts will be the pound cost, either of adopting the pet from there (your cost) or disowning him (my cost). You recognize that the only thing this is costing you is time, and this is time spent to get a pet that you genuinely want, and that you would otherwise be spending this time saving neopoints to get this pet through morphers and paint brushes, anyway.
Don't start complaining that it's not fair the rules are too hard, you didn't get the pet, etc, etc, etc. We are doing this as a favour for you! If you think the rules are too much to ask of you, then don't apply, simple as that!



The Stuck Pets: Some pets are just unlucky... when they are pounded, they become stuck because their names won't show up in the pet randomiser (especially names that have 'twinkle', 'ruki', and 'twilight' in them). Therefore, no one knows they are there and they are doomed to spend the rest of eternity in the pound. That is until the pet rescuers come, typing in random names, until they find them. Most of our pets were once stuck, but now they have a chance with our staff working hard to make them your dream pets. We'd like to sincerely thank kahlati and lost_and_pound for helping us find these lost pets and for making those directories to all the lost pets you know of, so we can save them and bring them to a better home.
