Ausuzu

It is late in the night and now you're exhausted as you have been studying from a really long while now. Your eyes feel heavy every time you try to take a look even at the simplest word within your book, when suddenly, you fall asleep and without noticing, you are dreaming already.

Grassland suddenly appears; from side to side the only visible thing is a large field of beautiful flowers. They look like tiny bells, having either blue or purplish tones. They're relaxing to the view, feeling the air with a sweet scent almost charming to the lungs.

You fold your legs to approach and touch with your finger tips the petal of a flower when a small drop seems to fall from it, emanating even a sweeter scent than before, which fills the air around you. You blink a bit, and when you open your eyes again, the flowers seem to dance from side to side in a melodious rhythm.

A small glow is detected from a distanced flower, as another tiny droplet falls from it with a worm-like shape. Inch by inch the creature seems to grow, and after a few moments, before you floats a giant dragon around. It dances in the air, covered with white and silvery scales shining with the sun's rays. Large creamy horns adorned with miniature bluebell charms hanging from them, and a particularly familiar fluff tail, grabbed by a jingle bell at the end, which possessed the same color as the flowers.

Floating, almost knotting herself, the dragon approaches you and lands on the ground. Being careful not to smash any flower, she seems to lie on top of them without bending them. She draws near you slowly; a pair of lemon-colored eyes looks at you with curiosity, but not with danger or warning.

Ohh… a traveler," a sweet voice came out from the dragon's throat as she nearly moved her lips. "You've traveled really far to come here isn't it?".

I know… You want to know how I came up from such a little flower like that isn't it?" She giggled and then replied, "Well, just imagine I can walk on it, and as easy as that I can be small to be in a jar, or as big as now." She laughed. "I was able to do this since I was a child, my mother taught me to do that."

She smiled and moved her four ears, while she positioned her hand to support her chin.

It's lovely to have company like you once in a while, this place can be so solitary sometimes," she sighed.

Family?" She rolled around the ground. "Yes I do have." She blushed. "My dearly, dearly brother," she grinned widely, "a small faerie dragon named Chutkat, I think you've probably heard from him before."

She smiles and wags her fluffy tail. "I love him with all my heart and soul, as I do for my other brother who's time to talk about him hasn't arrived yet." She covered her mouth and giggled.

However I found Chutkat in one of the cruelest ways it could have ever happened," she pauses for a moment as she closes her hands and opens them again with a tea table between them. She serves a cup of tea and handles it to you. "It all started before I was born… around 500 years ago," she laughed and served a cup of tea for herself.

Our father, was a powerful faerie summoner… a dragon actually, with several particular magics, between one of many was the 'Human Transformation'." She takes a sip from her tea. "My father was pretty popular between women, not only because his handsomeness but because of his gentleman manners, and lighted heart. However that really made him problems, as actually he loved four ladies all at the same time, my mother was the first one. When my dad talked about it with my mother, she accepted that daddy would have other wives, with only one condition."

She then put her teacup on the small wooden table. "He would love them all by equal, and no one would ever feel less loved than the other one, the price if he failed… was dead," she muttered while serving more tea on her own cup and letting it on the table. "My dad agreed without any fear, he knew he could handle that, and he could take charge of all of his wives," she smiled, "everything went properly for a lot of years, then… My mom got pregned with me…"

She blushes and covered her face a bit. "My mother, a large oriental white dragon, whose real name I shall not tell, was delighted when she realized of it, and you should had seen the face of my father… well actually I didn't saw it either, but my mom told me about it," she giggled.

My father offered a great feast for everyone, all the creatures, also including humans, like I told, everyone was invited" she smiled and curled her tail to the other side "Everything seemed to be perfect, and when things couldn't be better… Another of our mothers was being blessed with another being"

We couldn't be happier… I mean, our parents" *giggles* "When once again another of our mothers got pregnant… and I shall not tell the rest, because on this very moments that's not the important part of our story" she hearty-laughed.

It's a little quite complicated, dear. First momma wasn't from my father's era. Mother came from ancient times, when gods were still respected, and everything moved around them since the start of life. Mom is the white serpent Goddess known as Fuku Riu but actually she wasn't a serpent at all, she was, and still is… a beautiful oriental dragon.

Dressed in a beautiful black kimono, my white-skinned mother used to walk through the Japanese gardens of the Shoguns. Her offerings were the thousands of flowers planted each year for luck and health.

Yes, actually she had a human form too, just as my dad. A silver-haired, yellow-eyed maiden, with, and as I said before, a really white-toned skin, which surrounded her body.

People that saw her walk considered it as a charm of luck. My mother just adored to smell the scent of the flora.

Mother told me once that when she was young, she was sitting besides a river sprout, watching the little rainbow-colored fishes swimming to the surface every once in a while. Suddenly, something seemed to glow in the darkness. It was a silver fish, which shined even more than the rest. It seemed to stare at my mother for a few seconds, and my mother returned the gaze. She lowered her hand into the water to touch the creature, and the water started to freeze from where the fish floated to its surroundings, up to my mother's arm.

Just like that, the ice started to melt again pulling her inside into the water. She felt as if she had drifted into unconsciousness. She felt as if she's been sleeping for a very long time.

Slowly she opened her eyes and saw a man's face. He was a handsome man, possessing aqua-colored hair and golden eyes that didn't reflected her, but the real magic. "Are you alright, Ms.?" A sweet voice came out of the gentleman's throat.

My mother kept silent for a couple of minutes, staring deeply into the man's eyes, almost like bewitched.

Yes, I am fine, thank you," she said in a soft tone, trying to stand up slowly. She looked around, and noticed that things weren't the same. Everything seemed so different, so changed.

Are you alright Ms? It looks like if you had seen a ghost," my father asked.

I'm perfectly fine. I'm just a little bit confused, but that's all… Thank you." She turned to see my father and gave him a sweet charming smile.

My father's cheeks went a cute reddish tone and his heart went pounding faster on each breath he took.

Well… *coughs*

I'm not someone to tell you what happened between them after that, but I can tell you what happened afterwards…

I was born from a beautiful egg my mother laid. You know, I think I remember my father's face stamped again the shell of my egg, making funny faces to make me laugh, and rocking me then from side to side with a melodious lullaby. Aww… How I miss those days.

The day I was born, I saw first the face of my beautiful mother, who couldn't let the smile fade from her face, and in the moment that I turned to see my father…

Vanish!! My father was gone, and everything around us changed again… back to normal?

Mother didn't drop a single tear, not any at all. She just took me in between her arms and we continued with our lives, doing exactly what she did before meeting my father.

When I turned five, I remember my mother offered me something that made my heart happy, and surely, until now, it was the most important thing she ever told me. She showed me how to travel trough time to see my father…

But at a very high risk.

Once I entered the transporter, I would stay in there forever, as if within a prison.

Yet, I agreed as I could talk with both, my mother and father, and that made me very grateful, even if sometimes I felt alone inside.

It was a constant change between worlds. I watched everything that occurred outside, trapped on a flower for the rest of my life. Yes, you heard right, a flower was the instrument of transportation across the dimensions.

Like I was telling you, I did that for several years, until my father became an old dragon, and died. I stayed on my prison years and years without changing much my physical appearance.

Several years later, I returned to my father's era, filled in nostalgic when I heard him…

Yes it was my father calling me. I knew it was him, for his sweet voice wandered in my mind all those years. I called him back, imploring that he came by my side again. He was getting closer and closer, and then he finally appeared.

My eyes widened as they saw in disappointment a young hatchling that was really similar to my dad, but my sibling. In that moment I was disgusted because it was him and not my father who appeared after my call. What he was doing there? With what right did he appear on our, my father's and my, special place?

The flowers that were attached to my horns, which were there even in my youth, started moving around along with my anger. Suddenly all of the bluebells surrounding mine, started to dance with the same rhythm as my horns'.

As I turned to see my sibling once more, I saw that he was lying on the ground, unprotected, suffering with pain, and changing constantly. I knew it, my mother had told me about the bluebells before, and she said that I would also learn how to use their magic in a proper time; that when that happened, I would take the same job she had, besides being a goddess.

I turned to see my brother's face, and something I didn't expect to happen crossed on my way to murder my brother…

Blood… Blood acted over my feelings… What was I about to do? kill my own brother? my very same blood?

My eyes widened once more, and my heart started pounding softly. I could hear it hard and clear, and then I understood that it had to stop. Everything got to stop now, or it would be too late.

My anger was gone, but the flowers didn't obey me anymore. They would extinguish him no matter what.

Tears came down across my cheeks. I wanted to get out, to get out of the flower and take my brother away from that place. I needed to!

I NEED TO!!!" I yelled in my desperation, imagining myself out of the flower and grabbing my brother between my arms.

Then, something unexpected happened. As soon as I realized, I was already out of the flower and floating over mine, now with a long white silvered body as my mother's.

I looked down to see that the flowers had stopped, and laying down there in front of me, was my brother's little body.

I approached him and carefully pick him up between my arms. "Don't worry, it's all right…" I gave my best smile ever to him, and hugged him as hard as I could at that moment.

A little about me.

Well I'm not a simple mortal, but either an inmortal as my mother, eventually I will die, but it will pass a really long time before that happens. My job? Well, you know, a person my mother knew offered that job to me. What is it you ask? Well, remember I told you I almost killed my brother, that's a power I hereditated from my mother, but I won't ever let that takes control of me, not anymore.

My job is to take the souls away, don't be silly, I'm not dead, but a helper of the grim. I can kill things with the magic of my bluebells, but afterdead the bluebells grab the soul as I cross trough the limbo where I let the souls to be judged.

You know, when I talked to his majesty, he told me that I had done very well with my test. I learned how to use properly my tool, not only with my felings, but with the other's feelings also.

The bluebells will sound when someone's prepared to die.

Of course there are many grim helpers, I'm just only one of them, it doesn't feels as terrible as it seems, sometimes yes it's sad to take away a poor soul that was assesined, but then, there are a few who had lived a great long life, those for whom you come and they recieve you with a big smile... They're the ones that makes this job worth.

Chutkat is my beautyful lovely brother. After what I passed when I met phisically him love for him has grown strong. It's such a shame, as I wanted to take care of a little hatchling, as in the very first time I saw him.
All what I need to do next, is try my best to make him feel protected and secure, because he still is, my little brother.

Valentin is such a little sweet guy, when he likes someone, as he usually is arrogant, and very vain. He spends lots of time on the mirror watching himself, cleaning each part of his white body, even so, I love this little fellow, especially because he was a gift from my dear Chut

Azul is my preety friendly monster, he was a gift from Don & Van. She spents alot of time trying to bother Valentin since he arrived, he looks him more like a toy than a play mate, so oftenly she puts him in his mouth and starts running around like a hyperactive child. Of course Valentin gets awfully mad, but he tries to be patient with Azul.

Whom should I start with. You see I have three valuable friends which I like all by the same, I have such a pleasant time with them, sharing with them also, a good cup of tea.

Almor, ohh yes, such a gentleman, even if he's quite mysterios and he thinks he's strange, we have become good friends. He was the first one to show me the lands of the draik clan, even if he's a male, he really enjoys the real beauty, and that makes him such a prince. Maybe one day he'll tell me what it bothers him so much, the many things he has inside, I wouldn't like he exploded one day

The black lady, dear Murdeya, she's such a great partner to share a cup of tea, as we talk about many interestig topics. She's much more a night lady than myself, even if she can't stand out water, we have become very close friends, ohh and how she drinks tea? Well she only chews the tea bag, served carefully on one of my best tea cups.

Ohh then there's Mili also, last but not less important than the first two. She's a great lady to talk with, and loves dancing as myself, which makes the time with her very pleasant. I would like to know more about her, about her dear Thea, that she has been presuming so much, I know he must be just lovely to had adquired the love of such a fine lady as Mili. *hugs dear Mili*

This are small statues I give randomly to very good friends of my non-loved owner Sakurita (Well yes I love her, is just she embarrases me too much times I can't magane to keep my hand out of her face, slapping her with my lady paw) (They're not open, escept for special trades and gifts)

This are the lovely custom adopties that people had done for me.

And this are wonderful pictures that people have done for me

Well, I think you should return now to your home dear guest, thank you very much for visiting me, and I hope you have a little time on the future to spare me a visit again *wink*
With her last words you suddenly turn back and see your mother calling you "Mother?" you call her when you suddenly awake up in your room, with the head stamped on the books. Was it all a dream? you ask yourself, just before finding a little present besides your hand, a small blue flower. Could it be?

Mabey it wasn't a dream afterall?

Who knows?, as you're the only one who has been there.
