Plot...

When your ancestors have done wrong, should you live with the consequences?

There is a legend told among the Maudire pack, one that has been told to every pup born into the pack since as long as any wolf can remember. It tells of a time long ago, when this pack was young and naive. Prey was scarce and although the adults went hunting every single day, they never returned with enough to sustain the group. The future looked bleak for the pack.

The elders of the pack often spoke the story of the great wolves that lived on the very highest peak in the mountain range that bordered their territory. Legend went that these great wolves could grant wishes, although no wolf had ever come back to confirm this belief.

One wolf was determined to end the suffering of the pack. In the dead of the night, Kiata slipped away from her pack, determined to take one last stand against the deadly winter.

After a long struggle before her stood the alpha male and female of the great wolves. Fallow and Paarl. They granted her the wish of restoring the land, but with great return."It will cost your pack dearly. For we shall lay a curse upon them, a curse of sacrifice. Every moon we shall seek out your pack and you shall give us prey, as much as we wish."
And you shall never leave the pack boundaries." Fallow added. "Not one wolf that joins your pack shall ever be able to leave. Terrible things will happen if your promise is broken".

It has been many, many years since Kiata made her promise and never has a wolf of the Maudire pack dared the test the curse that was laid upon them. And never have they disobeyed Fallow and Paarl and refused them prey. But times are different now. Prey is growing scarce in the valley that has been so plentiful for so long. Discord is spreading, some wish that the curse be tested, others that the great wolves be defied.

What will happen when the curse is broken?

Rules...

What would a guild be without rules? Maudire Loup insists that you abide by the normal rules that Neopets has in place, as well as a few others that have been designed to structure the guild.

  • 1. ooc & bic
    When posting, it is often hard to decipher what is and isn't a roleplay post. ooc (out of character) and bic (back in character) must be used at all times.
  • 2. Powerplaying and Godmoding
    These are a huge no-no when roleplaying. These create situations which aren't ideal, and make for a difficult roleplay. Not to mention that fact that your character cant have an advantage over every other one. This also means no killing of other characters (unless you have strict permission to do so).


How to join...

Maudire Loup doesn't just allow any old person to join. As we are a literate roleplaying guild, we must assure that you meet the requirements as so. All you have to do is fill out the form, and send it either to Anubis or Nova.

  • Name: What shall you be known as?
  • Literacy: What do you believe your literacy level is?
  • Other: Would you be able to help the guild? HTML, graphics etc. (It's alright if you cant)
  • Activity: How often are you on? Once a day, for 3 hours, etc.
  • Roleplay Example: Wolf would be nice as that's the genre, but anything you have will suffice.
