Zin's Cityscape

The city brought out some of the strangest creatures at night. It was late, but you were drawn to the city nightlife and ventured out to your favorite place on the bridge that stretched over the large river. It was always quiet, and the river's gentle flow brought your mind to ease after a hard day's work.
It was dark, so you couldn't see the stranger lurking in the shadows away from the single spot of lamplight. He stalked towards you and he remained unnoticed. You couldn't react in time when the stranger lunged at you, hands outstretched. You could only close your eyes and cringe, awaiting the blow.

A few moments past without anything happening. You risk opening your eyes, but the stranger was now laying at your feet, unconscious. You weren't very aware of your surroundings. A gentle voice said. You looked around, looking for the one who just saved you. Up here. You looked up to the tall lamp post, where a shadowy figure stood, staring down at you. And you are? You asked, sounding more abrasive than you intended. The voice only chuckled, and then the shadow lowered himself, jumping down gracefully from the top of the lamp and next to the unconscious person on the ground. I am Aunzin. The canine bowed his head and his black wings fanned out. He reminded you of an angel.

O-Oh.... You stammered, unable to say anything to your savior. You felt a little embarrassed, and then it hit you. No way.. could you be that "angel" who- The canine raised his paw. He looked at you with a knowing look, What angel? I'm simply here to help those who stray. He smiled warmly, then sat back on his haunches. I quite enjoy this place too. Mind if we enjoy it together? Aunzin began telling you a little more about himself...
