RULES:
It was night time. The moon hung and glitters brightly in the star speckled sky as you walked around, lost inside the dark woods. Knowing there was practically fifty pairs of evil eyes watching you, you hurried and sprinted when a large howl roared from nowhere. Running aimlessly down random paths, you tripped over a loose root and fell over onto the muddy ground. Grumbling to yourself as you got up, you saw something in the distance. It was a tall, eerie looking mansion. Of coarse, all Haunted Woods neohomes looked freaky, but this one looked a bit more... Decent. Stepping onto the front steps, you knocked on the door a couple times, even rang the doorbell. No answer. Instead, the door slowly creeked open. Stepping inside, you looked around carefully. The lights were on.
Hello?" You called out. No answer. Walking deeper into the hallway, you saw many pictures and portraits of a cloud eyrie and a red bori.
Anyone here-" You were quickly cut off when a dozen tiny faeries flew by and fired what looked like explosive pink waves at you. Quickly jumping to the side by instinct, you were lucky they missed. More faeries came and attacked, you ran towards the exit to get out of there, but noticed it was blocked off. More dodging, you ran down the nearest hallway to find shelter. You ran into a library.
Inside the library, there were more than about a million shelves, with around a trillion books inside. Some books were neatly placed on the high shelves, some were stacked on the ground. Others looked as if they were thrown around aimlessly. Walking and carefully trying not to step on anything, you began to wonder.
Maybe I can borrow a book or two." You said to yourself, thinking of how smart your neopets would be. Suddenly, a voice spoke.
Please don't take any of the books." A skunk colored zafara said, hovering in front of you.
She looked strange, not like any other skunk zafaras you ever saw. The right side of her was all white while the left side was black. She had a black right wing and a white left wing. Her tail was a mixed of the two colors. Her hair was white with black streaks. Her eyes were violet, but they looked so empty, so souless. Another you noticed about her, was her clothing. She was wearing a maid dress. A large brown book was in her hands.
I saw you running in here, into this home. I also see you need to clean up?" She said, pointing at your muddy clothing. More faeries came. You were about to run, but saw that they mean you no harm this time. Instead, they started to dust and wipe the dirt off with the miniture towels and dusters they held.
The Mistress calls me her loyal servant, but an outsider may call me Asagi.".
You may be wondering of what kind of zafara I am." Asagi said. "I can see it in your eyes. Very well, I hope the Mistress won't mind if I take a little break. Then again, she may not be happy at all.".
Asagi held up the large brown book in front of her face, you started to hear murmering.
My eyes have been so horrible to me lately... Maybe I lack vitamins. Maybe it's time I should find a new hobbie, outside the library?".
Turning and skipping about a dozen pages in the book, Asagi didn't even look up once ever since she opened it. Hoping she wouldn't notice, you quietly try to sneak out when a faerie poked you.
Please don't leave, not just yet." The zafara said without looking. "It's been a while since someone ever payed attention to me... If you're bored while waiting for me to say something, please, help yourself to some tea and biscuits.
You looked to the side and saw a couple faeries flying up to you, holding up a tray of biscuits. Another faerie carried a cup of tea on a plate to you.
Thank?" You said, taking a few biscuit and bit off a small piece. Surprisingly, it tasted delicious! She must be more than just a maid.
Here we are." Asagi said as she stopped turning the pages. "My uses, advantages and disadvantages.".

The Little Sister Flandre Rain... How I despise her. Her childish ways have gone too far, she has destroyed so many of the books in the past and it is always her messes I'm cleaning up. But... If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be here. She may be a little trouble maker, but I know she cares about me. In return, I don't mind cleaning, or baking sweets for her. What's in those sweets, you ask? Best you don't know. |
I have no friends...
This... Thing turned up from the woods one day, injured, hurt, looking for help. Aero suggested I keep it, since I was the only one without a petpet. Of coarse, how could I say no to her? For the next couple days I aided this creature back to full health. After that, I regretted it. It never left me alone, it kept on following me. Areo said that was sorta what petpets do, I don't like it at all. But I admit, Simon is ok... He helps fetch me books and it's also nice to have someone quiet around and talk to. Then again, that's what I have those faeries for...
There is no one I know that I can hold close to my heart. at least, not yet.
