And even though you guys probably don't remember me, I did predictions for the first half of the Altador Cup last year! Though I don't have my precise record on me, I did get some pretty bogus predictions right. My predictions are as in depth as possible and provide suggestions, scenarios, and support for teams across the board. Though I try to keep my allegiances a secret (GO FAERIELAND! *cough*), I may give a couple teams the benefit of the doubt because I'm that cool. So can you guess what this page is for? This year I come to you completely free from the shackles of a single team. That is correct: I do not hold my flag up high because I have none! I've decided that for the pure purposes of journalism, I will not forge an allegiance with any sort of team this year and just report from the outside looking in.

Due to me being a little busy, I may not always have in-depth predictions, but I will indeed post predictions every day, however unexplained they be. I won't make a board if I don't feel that the content is particularly interesting, however...

Shameless Disclaimer: I'm sorry this page isn't very pretty and fancy! I've tried my hand at coding, but I'm still a complete novice and I'm just going to work with what I know how for now. I know the content of this page is good, though, because I put my heart and soul into it, so even if you don't exactly enjoy the aesthetic, at least you'll hopefully enjoy what I write. ACV HAS ARRIVED! Hooray hoorah! Well, because I am a firm believer in unbiased predictions, I won't be taking the first day into consideration at all, instead starting on Day 2 (because, contrary to popular belief, teams do change over time). Here is the general format I'll use:

TEAM LOGO #1 vs. TEAM LOGO #2 = TEAM LOGO #?: This will basically be there to illustrate who's playing who. The team after the equals sign represents which team I think will win the overall match.
Reasoning: Where I explain my prediction, guess at which teams will win which game (though this does not count toward my prediction score) and insert a little word of advice or encouragement.
Result: After the match is over, this is where I put if my prediction was correct or not and congratulate the winning team!

Reasoning: Woah, woah, woah. Before I go into the intricate workings that are this match, I would just like to mention briefly the COMPLETE TOPSY-TURVY that the AC world felt yesterday. That was brilliant, breathtaking, and completely unexpected! Generally, first day results are meant to shock, but that was more than just a simple shock -- that was the world of the Altador Cup being turned on its head, reorganized, and jolted back to square one. I'll go into each spectacular detail when the information is relevant, so now let's stick to the game plan: DC vs. MT. Both of these teams suffered extremely losses in what could be two of the biggest upsets in Altador Cup history: Darigan Citadel, former winner and token dark horse, was swept off the ground by nearby neighbors Brightvale while Moltara, poor unsuspecting newcomer, was ruthlessly pummeled into a pulp by home team Altador. BV and AL, previously considered strictly lower-tier teams, now take residence at the peak of the Altador Cup standings, while these two teams sulk at the very base. It's going to take a good win to get these teams back on their feet, so I have a feeling both of these teams are going to be playing really hard to regain momentum. The thing is, I'm having a lot of trouble deciding who will be the eventual winners here because of a simple conundrum: is AL better than BV, or vice versa? It's very hard to tell at this stage in the game which teams will be more successful and who had a first-round fluke, so one must wonder which team had the harder loss. At this point, I'm going to do something I never enjoy doing and make a prediction based on past knowledge: DC has been a trustworthy powerhouse in the past, while MT is full of fledgeling fighters that may need a few days to get their acts together.
