Cafe de la Princesse





You find yourself outside a lovely tea shop. It's outside brick has been painted a dainty pastel pink, and a large white sign is hung above the white door, saying "Cafe de la Princesse." Intrigued, you decide to enter it. As you enter, a bell on the door rings. In the background, you softly hear music box music playing. Suddenly, a blue Aisha bustles out from nowhere. She is dressed extremely cutely, in a frilled blue dress with a white apron over it. "Hello, my name is Arisuka. You may call me Arisu. What can I do for you?" She asks. You stare for a moment, and then she speaks again. "I suppose you came for the princess tour?" She asks. You nod dumbly, not wanting to just leave. Arisu leads you to a white door in the back of the room and opens it for you. You walk into a hallway full of portraits of beautiful Neopian princesses. "Oh yeah," Arisu says suddenly. "What's your name?" "guest." You mumble. "Well, let's get on with the tour." She says.

First of all, welcome to Cafe de la Princesse. The name is French for "Cafe of the Princess." This whole cafe is dedicated to the lovely princesses of Neopia, if you couldn't tell already. I think that all girls in Neopia can be princesses, and all boys can be princes. But you don't have to be painted royal to BE royal, which is why I opened this shop.

Princesses of Neopia



Our first princess is the lovely Princess Amira. The daughter of the late King Coltzan III, she is the current ruler of Sakhmet. Princess Amira is one of the most beautiful princesses, but is also a great ruler. She is proof that a pretty face isn't everything. She has been asked for her hand by many suitors, but this princess knows that they are only after her beauty, and rejects all of them. If you want to get to know her even better, there have been two interviews with her in the Neopian Times, seen here and here. Both are very well written, and I think you should check them out. Princess Amira has a love for the arts, and the popular shop "Osiri's Pottery" has flourished under her rule.



Our second princess is Princess Vyssa. Princess Vyssa is the second daughter of King Coltzan III, and second in line to rule Sakhmet. She is the younger sister of Princess Amira. Princess Vyssa is also known for her beauty, but she would rather be outside having fun with the locals. Princess Vyssa is also rather, well, spoiled. Her hobbies include complaining and bossing people around. Many people would say she has the true princess spirit, but personally, I disagree. I'm not to fond of Princess Vyssa.



Our third princess is Princess Fernypoo. I'm almost certain you've met her before, because she spends all her time playing Cheat! This princess loves to gamble, and was surprised when she heard that her father had told their royal subjects to purposely loose to her. Princess Fernypoo didn't like being lied to- instead of Cheat! skills, she just had loyal subjects. So this princess decided to leave home and participate in the Cheat! tournament! This princess is still on her way to winning, and I admire her strength. She still hasn't given up on her dream, which is a true princess attribute.



Princess Sankara is our fourth princess. Princess Sankara is the only heir to the Fourth Khonsu Dynasty. This princess never gives up hope that someday she will be able to take back her land of Khamtef from King Heksas of the lower Mentu region. Princess Sankara resides in Sakhmet with Princesses Amira and Vyssa, and was offered a position at court by the late King Coltzan III before he passed away. Little is known about this princess, but it is obvious that she is very beautiful.

Next are our items. These items are things that every princess should have:



A Princess's Clothes

A girl who wants to be a princess needs to dress like one. This doesn't mean expensive gowns and jewels. A princess can make anything look good. To dress like a princess is to dress like yourself- don't bother trying to fit in. Dress in clothes that YOU like. I prefer pastels myself, but that doesn't mean every other princess has to dress in pastels. In fact, the NC shop just released a set of Dark Princess clothing. Being a princess means being your true self.



There is another way to look like a princess, and that is with the Royal Paint Brush. It can be bought at the Hidden Tower for 1,750,000 neopoints, so I'd suggest you start saving. Not all pets can be painted Royal. Don't fuss if you can't be painted. Being a princess is mostly inside, and a Royal Paint Brush is rather pointless in my mind. But my owner, Aiyuuka, is making me post it. Oh well.

A Princess's Diet

The lifestyle of a princess is very sweet, and so the food should be too. Desserts are some of the most princess-y thing around. All sorts of flavors are perfect. Fruits are popular, like strawberry, cherry, orange, and others. Flowery desserts are some of my favorites. If you can, try a Chocolate Rose Petal Ice Cream- you won't regret it! Sour desserts and chocolate desserts also are fine. Really, any kind of dessert is perfect for a princess.
The drink of a princess is tea. Teas come in all sorts of flavors and rarities, so it's easy to find a tea you love and can afford. Fundus Fruit Tea is good, and so is Thornberry Tea. Experiment with tastes and find which tea is perfect for you.




Princess Beauty

A princess needs to take care of herself. Here are some things you can do to take care of yourself.

1. Use lotion every day. Lotion helps moisturize your skin, and most of it comes in different scents.
Try: White Lotus Glitter Lotion.


2. Experiment with soft makeup.
Try: eyeshadow a few shadows lighter or darker than your fur color.


3. Always brush your teeth. Clean, white teeth are a sign that you take care of yourself. Brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes each.
Try: Strawberry Toothpaste.


4. Take care of your nails. Always keep them at an appropriate length, neither too long or too short.
Try: Fyora Nail Clippers.


5. Brush or comb your fur every day. This will keep it shiny and free of knots.
Try: Golden Moon Comb.


6. Take a shower or bath every day. This will keep your completely clean and fresh-smelling.
Try: Lavender Soap.


7. If you can't take a shower every day, or you just love perfume, try a fragrance every day. There are many scents that are perfect for you.
Try: Cooler Than You Perfume.

Princess Arisu

Oh, so you want to know about me now? Well, that's fine with me. You know my name is Arisu already. I am 8593 hours old. I am level 1, my strength is 11, my speed is 15, my defence is 11, and my max hp is 9. My intelligence is 16, but I'm working on making it higher. I love to read, but sometimes it's hard to afford enough books! I also love to write and play with makeup. I am currently blue, as you can see, but I wouldn't mind being white or pink. Being island would be cool too, but a Mystery Island Paint Brush is really expensive- over a million np!

When I love something, I really love it. And when I hate something, I really hate it. Here's some stuff I really love and really hate. First, here's the stuff I love:

The Royal Family

Oh yeah, I should tell you about my family.

Well, first of all is my owner, Aiyuuka. She's pretty crazy. Some days she's go out and buy like twenty cakes, and then other days she'll sit and play Whack-a-Kass for three hours straight. I don't have a picture of her because she's camera shy. Oh well.

Next I have my adopted sister, TairFire. Tair kind of scares me, actually. Aiyuuka just adopted her, and so far Tair hasn't done much but sit by herself. She loves ballet dancing, so she says, and once she went on point for me. It was really creepy- she was standing on her very tippy-toes! I thought she was going to fall and break her neck. It was pretty cool, though.

Oh, I have a petpet too. His name is Imp and he's a Bearog. Most people find Bearogs kind of creepy and weird, but think he's adorable! I love anything with Bearogs on it. They're just so cute and cuddly!

A Princess's Farewell

Your tour has come to an end. After going through a series of halls, you find yourself back in the front of the shop with Arisu. "Well, I hope you enjoyed the tour." She says. "If you want, you can link back to my cafe. The link is right there." You nod.







You are sad to go. You had a lovely time. "I'm also looking for some adoptables." Arisu says. "I think they're adorable." You nod, and begin to leave, a smile on your face. You feel ever so more royal. "Oh yeah, I have some other places you can visit!" Arisu says suddenly, pointing to a list of links. "Go ahead and check them out.
