This is my application for Aquasian! Or Aqua, as I'll be calling him :)
It wasn't asked of me to write this, but I was in no way forced to make this application(Except by the Meepits).

Okay, I've written this, then erased it, then re-written it so many times, I'm driving myself insane! Typing up the same boring stuff, in the same boring tone...It's awful I say! So really, I'm going to try to make this as interesting as possible so you don't fall out of your chair in utter boredom.

Well hello! I'm Rellexia and this is that lovely part of the application where I get to talk about none other than me(don't get too excited now). Now this can be one of the dullest parts of an application(personally my favorite part to write is the "Meet the family"). So I'll try to make this as unique as possible.

I'm decently young at about...ten + 7 years of age and finishing up my last year of High School. I always have my nose stuck in a book, whether it's a classic novel, teen romance or manga. I own hundreds! When I'm not reading, I'm writing(short stories, mostly Neopet related these days), practicing photography or working on my drawing skills which isn't as incredible as what I wish they were.

I'm very laid back, and I don't have many goals in the real world(besides the usual: good grades, education after high school, good job etc.) other than to try harder and do better at everything the second time around, and to keep a positive attitude. Really my favorite thing to do is make people smile and laugh, seeing someones smile and knowing you're the one who put it there is a good feeling(warm and fuzzy). Needless to say, that means almost constant attempts at humor from my part!

Yeah...More about me, I know you're thrilled. But this section is more important, because it's about me as an owner ! Currently I have my main and four sides(which will be listed at the bottom of this section).

I started playing Neopets when one of my two best friends came to me and told me about Neo, she showed me how to make an account and of course when my little eleven year old eyes saw all those adorable virtual critters lined up for me to create and adopt...I said heck yeah! Of course I've quit a few times and come back older, more mature and got into Neopets on a more in depth level. I began applying to adopt pets, creating characters out of them, giving them backgrounds and even custom designs and then writing about them in short stories. I went on the boards and made new friends, and I really learned how to earn Neopoints and save up for paint brushes, potions and books for my pets. The more I learn about Neo the more I love it.
I just recently returned to the planet of Neopia honestly because I missed my pets too much, they're the best characters I've ever come up with. Since I've got back my biggest priority is to complete the family. I thought about it when I logged back in, I really want to find the pets I really want and create and paint or apply to adopt them. I don't want to adopt or create any pet I don't have any intention of keeping. In other words, all my pets will be "Permies".

I also want to become a more active Neopian in general, making up for missed time! One of my biggest goals on here is to get into the Neopian Times, collecting those two good looking avatars along the way. I'd also love to enter in the beauty contest, even if art isn't my best skill it'd no doubt be fun.
Update: One of my short stories titled "What truly matters" has been accepted into the 530th issue of the times!! Looking back, I really wished I polished it up a bit(a lot) before sending it away, but it's the basic idea of the story that matters! In fact the story is about applying for a pet :) If you're interested it's here.

Neopets has really influenced me. It helped me learn how to create characters, improved my writing, motivated me to actually practice things like drawing and I've met good people on here. I love it :).

More basic facts about my life on Neopets that I should probably include. I'm not against trading, however I have no personal interest in it since I end up attached to my adorable little pixels and cling to them like a mother.
And lastly I've never been frozen on any of my accounts, I have however received several warnings all for saying certain words Neo doesn't approve of(it was usually just an accident, but I wised up eventually!).

As far as interesting facts about me in the Neo world well...here's my favorite neopian item!

Now we get to the part that matters. If I am chosen to be Aqua's new owner, what do I plan on doing?

Well first off, Aqua would without a doubt go to my main(Warriorcats) and most likely stay here, unless something comes up. All my pets are shuffling around as I get settled into Neo again, but I'm slowly organizing myself.

Other than that I don't think I'll be training Aqua for the battledome, or changing species/coloring. I do want him to be my little model for the Beauty contest, as I found his design very fun to draw! (Laizabel will be very jealous, I'm sure)

I love customization, but haven't learned much about trading NC items or the new wearables that can be bought with Neopoints. I will run to the store to buy a Neocash card if I find clothes in the mall that suite one of my pets. Slowly but surely my pets become fashionable.

I don't know much about coding, but I want to make him a page(using a premade code) all about him! His history, stories he stars in, art for him, etc. :) Much more than what I include in this application, it sounds super fun to me! I'm sorry that I have no color visuals of him(though there are some black and white sketches of him in the art section if you want to take a quick look for reference). So I'll be describing him as best I can! :)


Aqua has the basic design of any faerie xweetok, but there are a few characteristics that set him apart. His head fur is styled in what's called an "emo fringe" going over his left eye. Instead of a greenish color, his fur is an ocean blue with slightly darker tips. His wings look more like leaves, they even have a slight green tint to them but remain transparent. Aqua's quiet, hardly ever speaking up unless addressed directly, and then he may still choose not to answer. He has a vivid imagination, and is often lost in day dreams or his own curiosity. His attention span in admirable, anything from a weird looking human or neopet to a lone rock could catch his interest and keep it for quite some time. He loves observing his surroundings as well as learning its history. However he hates serious research and will only resort to it if necessary. He keeps socializing to a minimum, but that doesn't mean he dislikes others. In fact he has a strong sense of family, even if he doesn't show it.
He often wanders away into the forest for a day or two but always returns. He's strongly bound to nature, as it gave birth to him. He cannot ignore the call or the water or the whisper of the trees.

Here I'll put all my current Neopets, from all of my accounts and tell you a bit about how they came to be mine, and their personalities! I also create visual designs, both animal and human forms(but I won't be showing those, as I don't have visuals of all my pets. They're mostly in my head).

Star
Life: Star was my original Neopet, she was the pet I made when I created my first account. In other words she's been with me the longest! She was recently painted faerie :)
Personality: Star is a very quiet individual, she prefers to listen rather than state her own opinion. She is however, a wise and sympathetic pet. On the rare occasions she speaks her mind it's well thought out with all sides taken into consideration. She's very good with advice. She values learning very highly, and encourages others to pick up a book and read. She's in love with Warrior.


Warrior
Life: Warrior was the first pet I ever adopted from the pound, and my second pet total. His starry look and his personality is inspired by a starry Gelert plushie I got from McDonald's as a kid, my friends and I would play with them and make up stories. I don't have the plushie anymore, but I'll always keep Warrior!
Personality: Warrior is very responsible, with everything. He follows the rules no matter what, and ensures those around him do as well. He's always looking out for his family, especially Star and the younger ones and he's not afraid to intervene if he thinks it's for the better. He's not afraid to have fun however, and occasionally shows a relaxed and laid back side. He loves vacationing at Mystery Island in fact! He's in love with Star.


Bloodfur
Life: Bloodfur was created by me as a red Gelert quite a while back(His name inspired by the Warriors series and his red coat). Since then he's been a Christmas Gelert(Fit his name, right?), and then morphed into his current form, which he likes just fine.
Personality: His name really doesn't suite him at all! He's a lot like Warrior, caring brotherly type and unquestionably loyal. He loves all his siblings and maintains the peace between them. When he's not watching out for them he's content to curl up in the grass and have a nap, or watch the clouds roll by. He's very respectful and easy to please.


Ninja
Life: Ninja was also created by me as a red Aisha, a while after Bloodfur was though. I painted him myself shortly after(cheap paint brush, hehee).
Personality: Ninja is in a word, irritable. In a few words, very very irritable. He's not a social pet, and doesn't get close to or even talk to others easily. While he hides his more sensitive emotions(because we all have them!) he's not against the idea of family, or even friends. Once he gets them, he keeps them and doesn't fight it. He's a very complicated Aisha, but that's why we love him. His best friend is Britt.


Britt
Life: Britt was a pet I applied to adopt and of course was given to me as the chosen owner. One of the first I actual had the privilege to adopt from another user! Sadly the art I had requested and drawn was lost, either by transferring accounts, losing my computer memory or the artist just taking them down from where ever they had it stored. I do however plan on creating an all new design for him!
Personality: Britt is a girly nickname, and he's proud of it. He's very flamboyant and is always goofing around or cracking a joke trying to make someone laugh. It's rare to see him in any other mood rather than...annoyingly cheerful. However the best part is he's a fortune teller! Needless to say his room is full of charms, crystal balls and other...useless trinkets and accessories.


Evan
Life: Evan was another pet I received after applying, he was given to me by a lovely girl who's username I sadly don't remember, we had many fun chats though! I do believe Evan was the first pet I made a petpage application for, I can't be certain though. I still have the cute little drawings I made of him!
Personality: Evan is logical. He's always reading or writing, gaining as much knowledge as he can in a little time as he has! He's outspoken about his opinions and isn't afraid to tell someone when they're wrong(he provides evidence of course). He's level headed and has never really had a temper. He gets along great with almost everyone and always offers suggestions and advice.


Kuradal
Life: Named after a popular character on an online game I play I created her along with the account Rellexia on Christmas day when I returned to playing. She is to be painted Royal.
Personality: Kuradal is extremely kind and considerate. She's always polite and supportive to everyone she comes across, even strangers! During big discussions she prefers to stay quiet, and just nod her head and she hates arguments. She's much like Star.


Laizabel
Life: Created after Kuradal on the account Rellexia. She was recently painted white, and boy will she never let us hear the end of it :).
Personality: Laizabel is a spoiled girly girl. She absolutely adores attention, and can't stand not being in the spot light. She gets into petty arguments with her siblings and gets riled up easily. Her favorite past time is combing her fur while flipping through the latest glamour magazine. She does love fashion(don't tell her I customized the others before her...I'll never hear the end of it).


Vaid
Life: Vaid was the first pet to join the family since my return! It was just a short Neomail application and was decided the day I turned it in. Not only did I get a dashing, trouble-making Kougra but became friends with the two judges :) (I needed some!).
Personality: Vaid's well, Vaid's a trouble-maker, as stated before. He's fluent in sarcasm and might as well write the guide to pranks. His favorite to pick on is Laizabel, as she's easy to annoy. He does love his siblings though, all of them. His way of showing it just comes off...Differently! (He has a big soft spot for cute petpets). His twin is Lily.


Lily
Life: I was lurking in the pound chat one day when I found a board where a girl was listing people's dream pets on a page. The page was designed for foster parent's(or zappers as they're often called) to scroll down the list and find someone looking for a specific pet they managed to zap. I shrugged and said, "why not?" and listed spotted kougra because of a character idea I had. A week later I was neomailed about her! And she was utterly perfect, everything I imagined. Even her name(Lerilu) worked, as I could get "Lily" out of it. A week before I'd written a story featuring a spotted Kougra named Lily.
Personality: Lily is a silly, fun loving girl. She lives her life in the idea that it's short, and you should make the most out of it! Because of this she's well liked and very popular. She'll do everything from shopping with the girls to playing soccer with the boys, doesn't matter as long as it's fun! She's Vaid's twin.


Azeal
Life: Azeal is a bit of a mystery to me to be honest. I found him on one of my long dead side accounts from three years ago and don't remember much about creating him or why. My best clue was his description which gave me his personality and the day he was painted, Friday the 13th.
Personality: Azeal is well...Unfriendly. Very. Unfriendly. He doesn't talk to anyone, we may have heard ten words total out of him in all the time he's been here. He doesn't enjoy much, and sometimes we find him just staring intently at someone or just off into the distance...He's not unkind though, he just doesn't speak. What's in his head is a mystery...but I'm sure if he didn't want to be in the family he'd just leave.


Lex
Life: Lex was recently created, but he's based off of another kougra I had on a side account I lost the word to. I loved his personality and design so much I couldn't part with it. Lex's personality is based off of two songs, both by Toybox: Earth, wind, water and fire; and Best friends.
Personality: Lex is the goofiest, girliest Kougra that ever walked the face of Neopia. He loves bursting into song(he only listens to kids music) and just dancing around like a lunatic. He's extremely relaxed, and never ever gets angry about anything. He is always smiling, always. His cheerful demeanor can either be perceived as endearing or annoying.


Dark
Life: Dark is the newest(original) pet to join the family. I always found checkered Gelerts appealing, so I picked him up from the pound and painted him a few weeks later. I'm honestly pretty excited about his character!
Personality: Dark is a very very shy individual, he's always hiding under a black hoodie he likes to wear. He was brought into the family when we found him wandering the streets in the rain and dark and he hasn't spoken of his past since. Others that see him might judge him as "emo" or "depressed" but really he's a happy individual that just doesn't know how to open up to others. Slowly though he becomes a bigger and bigger part of our family.

The following pictures were drawn by me, which means I own all rights to them! :) They were drawn with pencil and then inked. The computer that my scanner/printer is hooked up too is...well broken and messed up it ways I can't even understand. So these are pictures of the actual pictures taken by camera, I apologize for the bad quality!








Crystal blue eyes blinked open for the first time, and when struck by the first ray of sun the creature squinted. As its pupils adjusted the world became a mass of blurring colors, as if it were a painting on a canvas. Slowly, its tender eyes learned to focus and the small creature beheld the world for the first time. But sight wasn't the only one of its senses being attacked. Strong aromas drifting on the breeze blasted it in the face. The smooth texture below paw shifted with the effort to hold the newborn creature up. Birds chirped in the distance and leaves rustled in the ongoing wind.

Slowly he blinked, for it was really a he. Simple thoughts began bubbling up in his mind as he managed to name everything he sensed, as if the knowledge had been born with him. He knew that the sun was in his face because the time of day was sunset; he knew the thing he sat in was called a flower; he knew he was in a forest; and he knew that he wasn't the only thing living here.

Most importantly he knew he'd just been born into the world called Neopia; and that he was a creature called an Xweetok. A faerie Xweetok. What he didn't know was why he had been born, or the name of the forest where he was at.

Slowly curiosity sunk its claws into him and he cautiously learned forward, wanting to get a look at what was behind the flower petals.

Ack!

The creature cried out as the flower, not being able to hold his weight, lurched forward and sent him tumbling into a pond below. He'd landed on his back, soaking his back fur as well as his wings. Blinking he began to clumsily roll back onto four paws while gazing out at his surroundings.

Water…" he murmured.

By now the newborn Xweetok was soaked, the cold water dripping from his fur as he lay shivering in the pond. Utterly bewildered he had no idea what he was meant to do, or how to do it. Was he even meant to do anything at all? Surely he'd been brought to the world for some reason but…who had created him anyhow?

His paws tingled, as if itching to go somewhere. A thought nagged at the back of his head, and a feeling slowly spread from the core of his being and encompassed his heart. He was meant to do something…or more specifically find someone.

He shot up, swaying with the effort of keeping his balance as he shook the water from his fur and stepped out of the pool and into the deep forest.

He'd been born with hundreds if not thousands of questions, some answers given at birth while others remained hidden from him. But that was okay, the answers he had would get him where he needed to be, and once he got there he'd find the rest. He would be content, for now.

He was a faerie Xweetok by the name of Aqua, and he would find his owner.

Well it's been a bit of work, but I'm done! I hope you're still awake :) Writing up an application proved much more difficult and time consuming than I remember! But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't worth it, no matter the outcome.
