I've had my share of ups and downs, not that most people care to hear about them. Nobody wants to listen to their waiter ramble on about his personal crap. I've moved to so many places, I can't remember most of them. I spent a year on the streets, no home or warm bed to lay in. That was a rocky time. Right now I live in a small apartment in the middle of the city. Yeah, it's filled with small, unwanted critters and reeks of cigarette smoke, but it's home...and it's cheap enough rent that I don't have to go under on my bills. So many damn bills to pay, plus the cost of these stupid cigs that I've gotten myself into...it sucks, yeah, but at least I've got a place now.

I work at Duffy's Diner. I hate it. It's the worst job I could have asked for (and I wouldn't have asked for it if I didn't need the money). The customers just want you to get their food and leave them alone. That's fine with me, because I get more cig breaks, but sometimes I just need to vent.

I don't have a petpet. Sometimes I wish I did have one: something to keep me warm and snuggly at night; something to wait for me to get home and then smother me with love when I do. Hell, maybe I just need a lady. Chicks do that, too, right?
