Hello... I guess...

Hey there; I'm Anveda. This is where I like to hang out when I want to be left alone *cough cough*. Oh well, I guess since you're already here, you can stay a bit.

About Me:

Obviously, I'm Anveda. My owner is Cloud (BlueCloud300), and my older sister is Ami (Amikarashui). I like Battledome training with Ami, reading, and listening to Twisted Roses, my favorite band in Neopia. I tend to be quiet, and like to be left alone, although that doesn't stop my excessively cheerful sister from bothering me and taking me halfway around Neopia with her to get me out of our neohome. We used to live in Neopia Central, but we have moved to Shenkuu, as my owner Cloud is currently obsessed with it. At least I won't have to share a room with Ami this time.

If you can't tell, I'm a Darigan Cybunny. I have pale purple skin, spiky blond hair, and green eyes. If you must know, my right eye was injured in a horrible tragedy, and so I hide it behind my hair because it bothers me; if you want to know more about it, too bad. I have one dark purple wing, which I usually tuck behind my back. I can't fly very well with it, but it helps me to jump high or glide short distances.

I'm not actually from the Darigan Citadel, despite my color; I'm originally from Neovia. Due to my strange appearance, I was feared by the townspeople and branded as a demon. If my eye happened to fall on one of them, I was accused of cursing them should a tragedy happen to befall them afterwards. I eventually tired of these tirades and sought refuge in an old tower on the outskirts of Neovia. As long as the townspeople left me alone, I was fine with my situation. However tales of my appearance and apparent evil spread to the point where I was simply known as the Demon Prince.

One day while staring out from my tower window, I saw a bright color out of the normally grey world of Neovia. Curious, I leapt with wing outstretched to glide upon the cool currents of air. Jumping amongst the rooftops of the dreary town, I sought out that flash of color, my eye darting through the throngs of Neopets until I saw it. Hiding behind a chimney, I looked at it in interest.

It was a Royal Aisha girl, with a vibrant pink fur, walking about the town. She wore a foreign garb, of bright blue and gold material that shone as she moved, like a miniature sun. While the townspeople kept out of her way and spoke in hushed whispers as she approached, she paid them no mind and simply smiled and nodded to them as she passed by.

I followed her as she reached the edge of town towards the Haunted Woods, my feet making only a slight rustle every few feet as I jumped among the trees. Suddenly she stopped walking, as if waiting for something. I stopped in mid jump and hid among the branches. Then she spoke aloud, "Are you still there? You can come out now." I almost gasped in surprise, but kept quiet. But I had blinked, and the Aisha girl was gone from my sight.

I said, you can come out now." Turning quickly, the Aisha was right behind me on an adjacent branch. How had she snuck up behind me so quickly?

I immediately dashed out from the tree boughs and slid onto the ground below, to keep my distance from this strange Neopet. But with her unchanged smile, she gingerly jumped off her perch; she seemed to glide gently to earth, and landed on the tips of her toes. She must be a magic user, no way could a normal Neopet make a leap like that.

What manner of creature are you, and what do you want with me?!" I barked at her. I glared my eye at her in an effort of intimidation. But she remained unfazed and quickly replied, "I should ask you the same. You followed me." Seeing me at a loss for words, she stifled a laugh with her hand and added, "Do not worry, I mean you no harm. I was actually seeking you; I had heard of a demon that lived deep in the woods of Neovia, and my interest was piqued."

At that word my heart tightened. Not only was I shunned from the villagers, but now outsiders were coming to plague me as if I were an amusement? Would I ever just be left alone? I widened my stance, my spiked tail thrashing at the ground. I stretched out my wing, a shadow against the moonlit sky. My eye flashed at the Aisha in anger, and I bared my claws and fangs. "What of it?!" I bellowed, my voice scattering the flocks of Crokabek resting in the trees. "What reason have you to mock a demon?!"

At this the Aisha's smile fell, and her eyes downcast. I stopped my snarling in surprise. "Actually, I came because I heard that you lived alone in a tower. I can only imagine what it must be like to have others so afraid of you, and to feel all alone in the world. And when you were following me around town, I could feel your presence: it was filled with such sadness and gloom."

I was speechless. No one had bothered to even speak to me for fear of being cursed, let alone show a hint of concern. Raising her head, I could see that tears were falling from her face, and was taken aback. "I could feel that you were unhappy here, and I want to take you away from all that. So that you would never feel alone again." Saying this, the Aisha then dried her eyes, her cheeks tinged red from tears.

Unsure of what to do, I lowered my stance and slowly walked up to the Aisha. Putting out my hand, I muttered, "I'm Anveda, nice to meet you I guess." At this the Aisha's mouth widened back into a smile. "I'm Ami, pleased to meet you." She evaded my handshake and quickly embraced me in a bone shattering hug. Unable to move, I fainted from a lack of air.

When I awoke, I was in a room surrounded by pink frilly cute things. What kind of torture is this? I thought to myself. From a nearby door out swung the Aisha from before, carrying a large tea set packed with sweets and pastries.

Ah, you're awake! Sorry about that, I forget that I'm stronger than most Neopets." She gave a slight giggle before setting the tray down.

Where the heck am I?" I shouted to her.

Oh, I almost forgot! While you were passed out, I decided to make you my Brother! You can live with me in Shenkuu, and I'm sure we'll get along splendidly!"

Eh!? Don't make decisions like that by yourself!" I yelled, but the Aisha only laughed in reply.

Suddenly that lonely old tower wasn't looking so bad.

My Family:

My owner is Cloud, and that's all I'm allowed to say -__-;;;. Cloud is more shy than I am, if that's possible, and so doesn't like to talk much about himself. He associates himself with this Earth Faerie; I think he said her name was Avista. We visit her from time to time. She doesn't have any wings, but she seems to be nice. She gave me a Lupe Sticky Rice Cake once; it was tasty.

Amikarashui is my older sister, and our relationship as siblings is just starting out. For the longest time Ami was Cloud's only pet, so she got all of his attention (and maybe got a bit spoiled too). But she's learned to share, and we're now quite close. While her bubbly personality often annoys me, it's nice to have someone watch over me. Don't let that cheerful persona fool you though; she's not a ditz. She's one of the wisest people I know (she's just so... happy though...).

I technically have more people that are related to me... but I could really care less.
