IT was two demon lupes with huge wings and claws like knives. One, a female, was called Malice, (which means MEAN, if you didn't know) and the other, a male, was called Vile. It was one day when the pack was lazin' around, basking themselves in the sun, and Darknose and I where playing around close the edge of our clearing in the woods. Then we heard a terrifying screech, like the one of a dieing eagle. All of our heads shot up like groundhogs sticking its head out of its burrow. Just then, Malice burst out of the trees with another horrifying scream, her eyes glittering red.

Attack!!" Scout bayed as she jumped up and charged at the demon wolf. The whole pack jumped up and bounded after her, but then Vile flew out from the sky, roaring. He was as big as tree, and as fierce as a swarm of bees. He barreled into my mother, hissing viciously. "Run you two!" She managed to gasp to my sister and I as Vile clamped his jaws around her neck. "RUN!" We took one last glance at our fighting family, and then scampered into the thick woods. Darknose and I ran for our lives as we heard the awful screams of battle getting smaller and smaller as we got farther and farther away. But suddenly, we lost our footing and tumbled down a steep cliff that cut the forest and Neopia Central.

Sadly, Darknose was thrown up in the air and landed in the nearby stream, while I kept tumbling down the hill. "Darknose!" I screeched before I saw her be swept far away by the stream. Then, I thumped my little head on a giant rock at the bottom of the hill. I felt gentle hands retch around me and pick me up just before I was knocked out.

When I woke up, I was aching all over, and there was an adorable blue scarf around my neck. As I looked around a bit more, I saw I was in a Neohome, in a cloud room. I was lying down in a soft, squishy cot, and there were white bandages all over my body. "Finally, you're awake." I herd a voice say. My head whipped around, despite my wounds. A tall, pale girl with brown hair and gray wolf ears and a gray wolf tail tipped white, was standing on her hind legs, carrying a tray with a steaming bowl of soup on it. "I hope your hungry. And I'm Wolfgirl789789, by the way, but just call me Wolf." She put the try on my lap, and I took the spoon and slurped it up eagerly. (my mom taught me how to have Neopian manners, just in case) "I hope this isn't too sudden, but could, um, would you take me in? You know, adopt me? I don't think I have a home anymore." I squeaked, "Oh," Wolf grinned, "I thought you'd never ask. I, heh, kinda filled out the forms already, because you were muttering 'owner' before you woke up. And your adopted name is Aniv_Moon, by the way. But we'll just call you Aniv." I grinned back, and shouted, "That's great!"

After a while, I healed up, and met my siblings. Mom (Wolfgirl) found out that I was a baby lupe. I explored every inch of Neopia once I was allowed outside. Now we're living in peace in Neopia Central, and I found out that Darknose and Runningwind both found kind owners and are living peacefully. But when my new family went to the site where my pack battled, all we found was red grass, and a single giant fang. I wept awfully after that, praying that my family was all right. But all's well that ends well, I guess. Sigh..."
